This holiday sequel to THE ME TREE is just as much fun as the first book! Bear and all his friends are getting ready to celebrate Christmas, and several family members are joining the festivities. This silly remake of The Twelve Days of Christmas had me giggling and singing along as soon as the first guest arrived. The illustrations are hilarious, and so are Bear’s funny asides. You can tell his patience is wearing thin when six mice a-knitting knit him a Christmas tree hat. If you are looking for the perfect book to put you in the Christmas spirit, look no further! You will not be able to resist singing along with this fun and festive book.

A cute children's book based on "The Twelve Days of Christmas." This version has Bear with a partridge in a We tree, two spruced-up cats, three French squirrels, four flocking birds, five manatees, six mice-a-knitting, seven skunks a-skating, eight goats a-milking, nine possums prancing, ten beavers building, eleven bees a-buzzing and twelve brown bears baking.

The reading vocabulary is third- or fourth-grade level but this a book that definitely needs to be shared.

Bear learns how to share his space, while counting down the 12 Days of Christmas. How?
From the animals who visit and want to stay.
This cute, but advanced reader, gives the audience a new take on the popular Christmas tune with kid friendly humor and changes.

Was it my favorite? NO. Was it good for the audience? Yes. The illustrations are the star here.

Love this book! For anyone who loves The Twelve Days of Christmas, this book will be sure to bring a smile during the holiday season. Bear discovered in The Me Tree the importance of community and that community brings a hilarious take on holiday visitors. Kids will giggle at the text AND the art as Bear deals with his out of control but adorable guests.
