All I’ve ever cared about was being the type of man that God has called me to be, and having a woman in my life who will love me unconditionally.
Then I Found her.
She’s the prettiest woman I’ve ever laid eyes on, and the fact that she has those two darling little girls is enough to make me stake claim on all three of them.
Now, she thinks her full-figured body, and the nut she used to be married to, is enough to run me away. What she doesn’t understand is I love me a woman who I have to use every ounce of my strength to hold onto and I’m trained and equipped for any fight…spiritual or physical.
In my mind, you ain’t a lady if you aren’t at least one-eighty and when you snooze, you lose.
I’m okay with her hiding behind her feelings to keep me from loving every ounce of her, but what I’m not doing is going anywhere.
She can teach as much Sunday school as she likes and go to every service she can find between Keatchie and Frierson, but I’ll be waiting until she understands that whether willingly or by chance, I’m a part of her life that isn’t afraid to love all of her, and I’m not going anywhere because she’s been Found.

This was such an enjoyable read I loved “ Got” a man who knew what he had when he found his “good thing “wasn’t going to let it go no matter what obstacle presented itself.
I have to admit that the events that took place after Paisley and Got met , moved so quickly that it had my head spinning,😂 I can just imagine how Paisley felt.
This story provides hope and insight that with Faith and obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit and God all things are possible ❤️🙌🏽
Found is a soul warming romance that inspires, encourages, and satisfies the romantic heart of a Christian romance reader. It gives just enough to keep you engaged without having a predictable ending. I am truly a Scroggins fan. Looking forward to the next one.
I’m giving this ten stars ⭐️ instead of five! Danylle Scroggins; you are an underrated queen of clean romance! A wholesome, empowering African-American Christian romance that teaches the value of sex AFTER marriage and values of loyalty and serving the Lord together! Best parts: Princess👸🏾👸🏾 And Proper 😂🥰 Got! 😍😍😍😘😘😘 😊👸🏾 Paisley! Proud of her growth and strength from her toxic ex husband and not just because of Got’s help, but because she asked God, the creator and lover of ALL WOMEN, to help her!! CW: emotional abuse and bullying about female lead’s weight, sexism, drug abuse, broken families, death/pain threats, divorce, rude, annoying TOXIC ex,beauty comparison.
Fun, read. Lots of laughter for me. This man would be every girl's alpha male. And rich too! A man that understood God's purpose and he didn't want to waste time fulfilling God's plan for his life. He didn’t care that his lady was a full figured girl. He's a preacher, cop, husband, son, friend, dad, protector, provider, strategist, and more. Gotrelle is the whole package, and Paisley is his godly reward. This was a good read, fast moving, and engaging novel.
I love all of Danyelle’s book, but this one really warmed my heart and touched my soul. I am so glad that Paisley remained faithful until God directed her path because Gotrell was ordained for that specific family, and I loved Gotrell for being the man who God ordained to take charge. Lastly, I love the passionate love that God bestowed upon both of them. A Grand Salute to this author.
This was a short and sweet story set in the South. A visiting Pastor Gotrell takes a liking to the town's popular Sunday school teacher named Paisley. She is divorced with 7 year old twin daughters. Coming from an emotionally abusive marriage causes her to not trust men. But with a good outlook and an open heart towards Got, a quick courtship ensues.
This short book blew me away. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, prayers, songs, and biblical references. In fact, I stopped to listen to each song mentioned and sang each one, grooving to the beat. I'm screaming yes to being so hidden in Jesus that only the one He sends can find you. I'm believing that for myself and standing in faith. This is the first book I've read from this author and I was blessed and captivated the whole way through.
Danyelle Scroggins found her sweet spot with this book. FOUND is about a young woman, Paisley Houston, who is waiting to be found by her Godly man. Don't get it twisted, FOUND is not your average Christian fiction novel. This story explores ways the enemy tries to distract Paisley from her destiny. And boy, does Gotrell Ahmad have his hands full. I recommend you read this story and get to know the folks in Keatchie, Louisiana.
Paisley is a God-fearing divorced mother of twin daughters. Her ex-husband is an evil man who hates her and his daughters. But, he will do whatever it takes to make life miserable. But God looks on his faithful servant and has a blessing for her by way of preacher Gotrell.
This was an enjoyable short love story. I'm glad Gotrell and Paisley found each other. Paisley had a complicated situation going on behind the scenes. Was the situation cleared up? Read to find out.
This series is short and sweet and leaves you with some powerful messages. There is nothing left to want in these stories unless you want to see the years down the road. The author gives you just enough with a cherry on top.
This was a quick and easy read, well written as well. The story reminds me to hearken to the voice of Holy Spirit in all situations. It is good to be found.
I didn't see that ending coming without a serious life ending. Thank you for this creation and beautiful ending from the Christian man's side of the story.
