Single rancher, Charles Ainsworth, is glad to be in a position to provide a new home for three brothers. He has no use for the citified young woman who keeps stopping by to check on them, despite how beautiful he finds her. He feels obligated to tolerate her visits to please his new sons.

Their differences cause them to fight their attraction to one another, but when one of the boys goes missing, they have to learn to trust each other in order to bring him home.

Wendy May Andrews has been reading whatever she could get her hands on since the age of five. She has been writing for almost as long, although Tempting the Earl was the first story she was willing to share with anyone other than her mother. Since then, Wendy has published more than forty Sweet Historical Romance novels.

Wendy lives in Toronto with her own real-life hero. When not writing or reading, she loves traveling with her husband, wherever the mood takes them.

Cassie agrees to accompany the orphans on their journey to Missouri to find new homes among the farmers and ranchers. She doesn't want the Socialite lifestyle that her parents are forcing on her so she is happy to escape for a bit. But the sweet orphans find a way into her heart. Can she drop them off and head back home that quickly? What about her special cuties, 3 brothers - will anyone be willing to keep them together?
This was a really cute story, with a little bit of a mystery as well as fun parts from the 3 boys. I like that you can depend on Wendy's books to be clean and happy.

I really liked Cassie's character. She was lovable and learned a lot and worked hard even though she didn't have to. And her love for the orphans was so sweet. I really liked to see her interact and follow her interactions with the boys.

I was not as impressed with Charles. He was the broody handsome type and apparently that type is not for me. I did not like how he never talked to Cassie and then declares his love for her like a lovesick poet. *Sigh*, even though it was adorable I didn't really believe it.

There was also a confusing part towards the end that connected Cassie and Charlie. I even listened to it twice to try to figure out what was going on. I'm still not sure what happened.

So in summary, I love the writing and the story and the sweet orphans interacting with Cassie, but the romance just didn't work for me. I do plan to keep listening to the series!
