December 30, 2024Has good pics of climbs, I used it mainly for climbing at Crowder's Mountain. Oddly enough, it's nicknamed Crowded Mountain b/c supposedly it's overpopulated as a climbing area. Every time I've been, there have been other climbers but not too many. It remains one of my favorite climbing spots on the east because, although a lot of the climbs are easy, they are all lots of fun.

Possibly the worst climbing area guidebook ever printed...or at least in the top 5. I've practically rewritten every route location and description that I've climbed using this book; but it will make a great starter log for an emergency fire.

Pretty good guide book. Much improved from the 1995 version by Thomas Kelley. A hard state to cover in one guide book!
