1. I really enjoyed the first story A Nurse for the Wolfman. Margaret and Luke are a passionate couple and Luke was bad azz. 5 stars

2. Becky and Jet were an enjoyable read and both seemed sympathetic to the process that Dr. Chimera implemented. Guarding The Mermaid 5 stars

3. The Lionman Kidnapping introduced a former patient with a “success story” patient who is drawn back to the clinic. Both are deadly but when captured the lionman falls for the woman who makes him look at his results differently. 4 stars

4. A Chimera’s Revenge so much that happened a “mad scientist team” - Chimera’s story comes out and he has to address Jane the girl from high school who had been in a coma for 20 years before and after he experimented on her. This one was switching the villain to a good guy three stars

5. Capturing the unicorn - this book introduced another mad scientist only we see chimera former Dr and a pharmaceutical empire, that is chasing done Chimera and the crew. Oliver is on the opposite spectrum from where the unicorn woman is but when Chimera had to escape his facility, he left behind some of his experiment’s because the helicopter crashed, and one of the “monsters “ comes back and she is pissed at Oliver who is determined to write a Tell all novel. So I gave this one four stars.

AUDIOBOOK edition

I loved Eve Langlais books I read /listened in the past and this collection is no different. A different take on a popular trope that makes 'Chimera Secrets' stand out more to me, not just the way they are portrayed but also the types of the modified genetics applied. My fave of this series is 'A Chimera's Revenge'. Although each story can be listened to as standalones, I recommend listening to them in order to better understand the world of the series. The twist in the last book, finding out who Oliver is, was quite a surprise. Well done! - 5 stars

Troy Duran's voice is a favourite of mine and on my 'eargasm' list for sure. His raspy, deep sexy voice can really make a story pop. - 5 stars

I previously read this series about a year ago and enjoyed it. When I saw that all of the books were consolidated and available as an audiobook narrated by Troy Duran, I didn’t hesitate to purchase it! I am glad that I did.

This was a fantastic paranormal box set. Each book introduced another interesting monster/creation of Dr. chimera. I loved getting to see how each of these creatures find their mate and their way in this changing world.
