So you invite another couple over, whip out this book and a deck of cards, and by the end of the evening you're enjoying a game or two ("rubber") of bridge. I haven't tried this step-by-step, simple to sophisticated method, but I should have with the folks I am trying to learn with. We are muddling along haphazardly, except for me - I have thrown myself in with the duplicate bridge sharks.
