He’s the devil himself: Damon Copeland (he practically carries a pitchfork). Fiery-hot and a killer smile (if he ever smiled). He’s also the top dog at my father’s company, And my two older brothers’ best friend. Oh, and someone I accidentally slept with. In my defense, that was before I knew who he was— And before he hired me. Now, my one-night stand has turned into my boss.
What’s worse, he’s Mr. Bosshole Superior: brutish, broody, and impatient. And he’s completely immune to my charms. He’s also 6’4”. With a perfect jawline.
After a few teeny-tiny collisions, I’m pretty sure he hates me. But it’s not as if I planned to run smack-dab into his wall of hard muscle. (Twice.) And it’s not my fault we ended up in one room on the company trip. (With just one bed.) And it’s *definitely* not my fault my heart stopped—almost completely— when he showed me the tender, generous, and compassionate man he really is.
None of this will break my resolve. The girl who resists her irresistible boss? That’s me. I will not fall for impossible, controlling Damon Copeland.
Jolie Day is a romance author with a knack for steam. She invites readers to abandon inhibitions and melt into the pages. Alpha men, boyish charms, rugged good looks – her books take you on a thrill ride of suspense and seduction. Do you want to read about the knight in shining armor willing to do anything to protect his woman? Then her books are for you.
Charming My Broodt Billionaire Boss is OK book. The plot is standard. A forbidden romance with a dash of comedy. Ariana is a strong willed woman. She is smart and funny.
The humor from Miss Day is refreshing. It is not as vulgar. It certainly entertaining and help lifting up the plot. I certainly feel entertained with this book. I wish more innovative plot.
I know I'm in the minority but this is an insult to my intelligence. I received an ARC from the author and I hate that I'm giving it a bad review but I can't do anything else. I haven't read Oliver's book but I read Miles' book and he was a complete wanker in the beginning. Typical infuriating smirking man who thought the sun shone out of his arse, and expected every woman to fall at his feet and worship him. He did get better and I finished the book and wrote my review giving four stars. The last line of my review said 'I'm definitely looking forward to Damon's book'. In Faking It With The Billionaire Next Door, Damon was an enigma, the strong and silent type, and it was obvious that the tall, sexy, handsome man had so much to reveal. Couldn't wait! I really wish I hadn't bothered. I got to 43 per cent and couldn't bring myself to suffer any more. The Damon in this book was neutered by a terrible story and the incredibly dislikeable Aria. The book's title should be 'Inappropriately Seducing My Billionaire Boss From A Position Of Power' because she's the boss' daughter and her brothers would kill him, all because they innocently spent the night together and she's just having fun messing with him, while he's legitimately afraid of what would happen with his job and her family. He deserved more as a character. I don't know what possessed Jolie to write this utter rubbish that is demeaning to all women. This wasn't funny or clever or entertaining and I'm not going to read any more of her books.
SPOILERS
Damon works for Aria's father, and alongside her brothers Oliver and Miles who are Damon's best friends. Damon and Aria have never met (unbelievably) until they spend one scorching night together when Aria sneaks out in the morning when she realises who Damon is. Her father asks Damon to interview her for a job that only she is qualified for (because all the other candidates are halfwits and no one thinks to headhunt someone better) and of course, he has to hire her because she's just that good. What follows is pure tripe. Damon is her boss and completely capable of running his department but Aria walks all over him. She disrespects him, does the opposite of what he asks her to do unlike all his other staff, waltzes in and out of his office like she's the boss' daughter (which she is), pretends that their one night didn't happen but takes her stupid best friend's advice and dresses to wind him up. And by that I mean, tight-fitting low-cut clothes with a completely inappropriate attitude. She leans over his desk to show her cleavage, pushes her breasts together with her arms while leaning in to look at his screen to make her cleavage even more obvious, makes sure her skirt shows off her legs.... And if that wasn't enough, I gave up when she wore a short skirt that she made sure rode up so he would see the stockings she was wearing. If I was Damon, I've have told her to get the fuck out of my office and then go straight to HR to report her for sexual harassment. She was manipulative and calculating and thoroughly unpleasant and I absolutely despised her.
Damon is… Wow. He could be my new definition of the perfect book boyfriend. He’s intelligent and driven. He obviously cares about other people, judging by what he goes through to keep his best friends and their family happy. I had a great deal of difficulty connecting with his leading lady, though. I don’t have a good track record with bratty heroines, and Aria is a brat to outdo all other brats. However, there’s a ton of chemistry between them and I can easily see how the forbidden aspects of their relationship made it all the more enticing. I loved where these two got to in the end, I think I just experienced a few more bumps in their journey. Even though they’ve driven me a little mental, I love this family and I’m so glad to know that the series isn’t over quite yet. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Oh I do love a grumpy boss-hole storyline! Damon is the ultimate workaholic, type-A boss. Sexy as hell, especially listening to Jason Clarke voice this tall drink of deliciousness... did I mention he also rides motorcycle with his best buds??
Aria frankly annoyed me for most of the book! Lol. Besides acting so immature, she was a total D tease! Samantha's smooth, sultry voice didn't quite match the bratty personality, but she pulled it off beautifully!
I do love how this book ended and how they got their HEA!
I can't pass up this narrator combo and I really enjoy Jolie's heroes andwatching them fall hard for their leading ladies!!
Wow! This one starts out steamy and doesn’t let up. It’s a one night stand/brothers’ best friend/office romance story that hooked me from the first chapter.
Damon runs into Aria – literally – in a bar and without exchanging names they spend a sizzling night between his sheets. Come morning she’s gone but he can’t stop thinking about her.
Once Aria saw the picture of her brothers with the man she just slept with in his apartment, she knew she couldn’t stick around. Not only does Damon work with her brothers, but he works for her father! Her family already thinks she’s impulsive and flighty, she can’t let them find out she’d spent the most incredible night of her life with Damon. Everything would have been fine if only Aria’s father hadn’t asked her to come work for him – under Damon, no less – to complete a time-sensitive project.
Shocked to find out the mystery woman he’s been hung up on is his boss’s daughter and his best friends’ sister, Damon is determined to maintain only a professional relationship with Aria. Too bad she’s determined to tempt him to repeat their night together.
Damon and Aria’s chemistry was white hot and I loved his alpha-dominant nature. That conference room scene? Whew! Aria’s quirky feistiness and underlying vulnerability was endearing. I could so relate to her men with glasses theory. The connection these two form beyond the sexual tension and physical passion was magic!
Samantha Brentmore and Jason Clarke were fabulous in their roles as Aria and Damon! These narrators know make their characters shine. There were several moments during this audio that felt like scenes in a movie were playing out in my head. Always a pleasure listening to Samantha and Jason!
“Broody Black Dragon King with glasses… sculpted by the gods, and hand-delivered to me..”… if this quote from this book doesn’t intrigue you, I don’t know what will. So hot!! The forbidden fruit, one night stand, brothers best friend, office romance story of Aria and Damon is such a delicious treat! After having an unforgettable one night stand Aria and Damon find themselves working together and having to repress the feelings they have for each other. The tension, the magnetic heat is crackling between them is soo hot! Both are struggling to keep their hands off each other. Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor perform Aria and Damon’s story perfectly. Jason plays Damon, the broody, dominant, nerdy alpha (yes, please and thank you) perfectly with his rich, signature growling tone. I can also tell and feel the tenderness and compassionate side of Damon that he portrayed. Samantha plays Aria in such a sweet and sultry voice. She shows Arias quirky, feisty, fun, spontaneous side and sometimes the femme fatale. Her male voices are always so perfect! I love the pairing between Samantha and Jason, they compliment each other so well. Simply put I love this wonderfully written (Jolie Day is amazing writer) romantic comedy that has enough steam and humor to capture and keep your attention from the first sexy chapter to the last!
Charming My Broody Billionaire Boss is a hot and steamy opposites attract romantic comedy that I devoured in one sitting. Damon and Aria are scorching hot together! Damon is Aria's brothers best friend. He is also her hot new boss. Pursuing a relationship between them is absolutely forbidden but before they knew whom each other were they shared one night together that neither of them can forget. Damon is dominant, bossy and broody but Aria softens him in a way I loved. He tries so hard to resist the pull to her and keep things professional but Aria is determined to tempt him in every way. She is confident and sassy and I loved the tension, and banter between them. This story is funny, sweet and sexy and not to be missed.
I loved listening to this story narrated by Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor. Their voices are sexy, animated and engaging and brought this story to life in my ears perfectly.
Charming My Broody Billionaire Boss by Jolie Day was a hot, hilarious one-night stand with my brother’s best friend romcom that I fell absolutely head over heels in love with! Once again, Jolie Day brings the heat, fun, and all the heartwarming good feels with Damon and Aria’s story! I have adored listening to each Humphries sibling find their very own HEA, and Aria and Damon may just be my new favorite!
This audiobook is narrated by two of my favorites, Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke. I love when these two are paired together because they are always fantastic bringing the characters to life. Samantha brilliantly portrays sassy, smart Aria! She also highlights Aria’s confident, determined persona as she takes on a new job as chief engineer, and impresses and tempts Damon all at the same time. Plus, Samantha always wows me with her raspy male voice that is so hot! Jason Clarke is perfect at portraying broody, grumpy hunky, Damon in his signature growly tone. Jason’s performance makes it so easy to fall for Damon as he has a complete change of heart, gains confidence, and goes after everything his heart desires. Damon and Aria’s fiery magnetic chemistry will melt your earbuds!!
Overall, I loved this book! If you enjoy a workplace romance with an uptight handsome boss who wears glasses, a feisty go-getter blonde, a steamy one night stand, an overprotective dad and older brothers, workplace shenanigans, gossip, business trips with one hotel room, even more steamy times, telling truths while drunk, and a HEA that is worth standing up for, then you will love Damon and Aria’s story! I always look forward to more from Jolie Day!
*** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW*** I couldn’t remember who Damon was from the previous book but the blurb hooked me and I was excited to find out what would happen in this charming older brothers’ best friend, boss/employee romcom. Damon was broody, a bit grumpy, and definitely a workaholic. He never showed interest in office gossip, until Aria started working there. Damon & Aria’s chemistry was sizzling from the start. I found their story captivating and loved their back & forth tension. The way they both teased each other really helped create a steamy buildup. I thought they were a perfect match. They seemed to understand each other and help each other shine sort of speak. Damon & Aria were a fun enjoyable couple, I could not get enough of. The audiobook was incredible! Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor narrate this story and do a wonderful job bringing this story to life. They perfectly capture Damon & Aria’s personalities. I am a huge fan of both of these narrators and they always seem to help me escape into the story. I’m excited to listen to more from this author.
I don’t know why I keep trying to like this series, 3rd time was not the charm.
Aria is, quite literally, the worst, Damon was in an impossible position the entire book and her dad and brothers were obnoxiously annoying. I hate the over-protective “he’s such a good guy for anyone but you” big brother micro-trope.
Also, the author spent more time having the main characters try to convince us that they were madly in love for more reasons than their sexual chemistry instead of actually showing us anything more than that sexual chemistry.
Biasa banget.. ntah deh.. gw gak dapet gregetnya, trs si heroine nya ini kaga jelas.. gw males kl sama lead yg galauan, hot and cold... antara yg dipikirkan sama actionnya beda kwkwkwkw
Such a cute book. I read via audible. Great narrators. This book had everything. Grumpy sunshine, boss, brothers best friend, and one bed trope. The book had me smiling throughout the entire thing. I finished in one day.
Charming my Broody Billionaire Boss was a fun, one-night stand turned brother's best friend turned office romance. I enjoyed the premise and the crazy situation Damon and Aria found themselves in. The steamy scenes were just that, very steamy. I loved that Aria, though flighty was smart and I also loved that Damon, as a boss, was tough but fair (except for one thing).
The audio version was narrated by Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor. I am really enjoying this pairing. Jason is such a delight to listen to as a broody one, and Samantha is quickly becoming a favorite narrator for me!
This book is a 4.5-star book to me, rolled up to a 5. Narration was superb at 5.
Another HEA for a Humphries sibling! This book has a lot to offer- a one night stand, a nerdy alpha and forbidden office romance. All the delicious tension resulted in some serious heat. Damon is the sexy, dominant, nerdy alpha that has to have everything planned and in its place. Aria sweeps in bringing chaos to his life but it’s exactly what he needed to bring his hidden passion to the surface. He makes her feel safe and desired. This book showcases how opposites attract but shared desire for love and acceptance ultimately bring two people together.
If you are not reading Jolie Day’s books, what’s stopping you?
Damon knows what he wants out of life. His job, motorcycle rides with his best friends, and an occasional hook-up. Nothing long-term. But when he meets a beautiful woman at a bar and spends the night with her, he doesn’t get her name. But she’s all he can think about. And then she shows up as his new chief technology officer. And is the sister of his best friend and the daughter of the company’s CEO.
Aria has never had much luck with men in the past so when Damon blows her mind that first night, she wants more. That is until she realizes who he is. But a little teasing never hurt anyone, right. That is until feelings are involved, and jobs get threatened.
Aria and Damon get their happy ending in this stand-alone book.
This book! Day does a wonderful job writing witty females that you can’t help but love! And Aria was no exception. Her banter with Damon was always cute and the gossip with her co-workers was hilarious. Damon's change in priorities was subtle and fun to watch unfold. From someone who only cared about work to someone who wanted her around and knew the risks to his job was amazing. One thing I do wonder, and it was kind of left ambiguous was if they were out at work and what the office secretaries thought of it.
I received an advance review copy for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Read this book series awhile ago, just writing my review. This was my first time reading books by the author, I loved the whole series. It’s funny, spicy. Loved the FMC in all the books as characters are interconnected even tho they are standalone. The MMC are swoon worthy. Loved!
The brothers and dad were just too over the top when it came to the h. The H had proven himself for years to the family, made them tons of money and was not a manwhore and they still treated him like crap. Ugh.
Described as "A Hot Romantic Comedy" by the author, that's exactly what it is. Damon works alongside his best friends are Miles and Oliver, whose father owns the company. The rules of the bro's is their baby sister is out of bounds. Fine by him she has always been irritating to him anyway. However the night he bumps into a hot sexy blonde who he takes home changes things. They don't exchange names so neither realizes who the other one is. That is until Aria gets up to use the bathroom hoping for hot morning sex and sees the picture of her sexy hot date in between her brothers. Realizing she has just had a romp with Damon she panics and runs before he gets up. Damon wakes up in the morning to find she is gone. He is very disappointed but what can he do - no name, no phone number? Weeks pass and he is still brooding about the 'one that got away', even his best friends have noticed, but he's not giving anything away even if he could - he doesn't even know her name. A job becomes available in his department and who applies but none other than his nameless one night stand, Aria. He is shocked to find out she is the daughter of his boss and best friends. She doesn't let on to Damon that she knows who he is and so begins a game of teasing and flirting which gets out of hand. Where will it all lead? More hot sex. But what happens when her family find out. What will he do when he is given an ultimatum his job and career or Aria? What will he choose? What will the fallout be? There are lots of laughter, hot passion, tears and upset before we get to our expected HEA. I loved it. Well written and a great read.
I received a free copy from the author and I voluntarily leave this honest review.
This is the story of Damon and Aria - if you've read Day's previous books, you may remember being introduced to Damon - as he is the best friend of brothers Miles and Oliver. Damon is a no-nonsense, alpha personality who is basically married to his job. He does occasionally go for long motorcycle rides with his best friends and on one of those nights, after a ride, he runs into a beautiful woman at a bar and is instantly attracted to her. They end up spending a hot and steamy night together and when he wakes up in the morning, she is gone. They hadn't even exchanged names so he has no way of knowing who she is or how to contact her. Fast forward a few weeks later and his mystery woman walks into his office as a new hire (and also as the bosses daughter and his best friends "little" sister) to help with a project he's currently working on. He recognizes her immediately and she pretends to not know him (when in truth she knows exactly who he is). And then the "fun" begins...they are both fighting their attraction to each other, their history (though she supposedly has no memory of it) and he is also fighting the fact that she is a co-worker and his best friends' sister. For me, Aria is not very likeable and that makes it a bit more difficult to enjoy the overall story because you want the main characters to be likeable. Aria spends a lot of time making Damon's work life difficult with her games. Without any true spoilers, they eventually figure it out and that's where the heart of the story comes from. I have read quite a few of Jolie Day's books and, for the most part, have liked all of them...this one, though I did enjoy the overall story - it's not one of my favorites.
Damon is best friends with Miles and Oliver and have been for a long time. They always take bike rides and then stop by a local bar afterwards. When Damon turns the corner and runs smack dab into this beautiful woman and he is speechless. Aria is mad and hot fuming because he spilt his drink all over her. She is a spit fire and this only makes Damon want to know her more. When returns to the table to the guys they ask him what happened and he tells them he just ran into this beautiful woman and he needs to find out who she is. Miles and Oliver leave and Damon sticks around the bar a little longer hoping to find Aria. When he finally finds her it’s in the men’s bathroom and the bouncer is about to throw her out because he told her not to be in there. Damon covers for her by saying it’s his sister and he needed toilet paper. Once this little episode is over, she is waiting for him in the hall. They decide to go back to his place and man oh man what a night they share. Aria wakes up and when she sees a picture of her brothers in his house, she is surprised to say the least and realizes who she just slept with. The next big surprise is when her father tells her to interview for the job as engineer at his business and when she starts to work her boss is none other than Damon.
Jolie Day has one hot 5-star book on her hands. The banter between Aria and Damon is hilarious and the way she teases him is so funny. The cat and mouse play between them will keep you wanting more. The storyline is well written and you will not be disappointed. Great job Jolie. I received an arc copy of this book and I’m freely leaving an honest review.
#charmingmybroodybillionairboss is my first book by @joliedayauthor.
Damon is a workaholic, type a, no steering off the path he’s created kind of guy. So walking into a woman and spilling drinks, he’s dumbfounded by her beauty. They go home together and have a wild night. But waking up in the morning she’s gone so he buried himself in work. Moving forward, he’s finally meeting the replacement engineer and gets a shock. She’s just as beautiful as he remembered, only now he knows she off limits. She’s related to his boss and best friends. Nothing good comes from breaking bro code. Then why does it feel so wrong not to?
Aria had a one night stand to remember. Wanting to continue on, she stops dead in her tracks when she realizes who her bed buddy is. A couple weeks pass and she offers to help her family out at their business. She’s a very talented engineer. Seeing Damon again she wants to see what happens, what harm can a little teasing do. She’s putting her heart on the line for something she knows can be real. But why does she feel getting pushed away is harder than her last breakup. How did she let him climb over the walls she built around her heart in such a short amount of time?
I really enjoyed this book. @jasonclarkereads and @ms_brentmoor were perfection for this narration. They made this book that much more enjoyable and steamy. I would absolutely read and listen to more of this author. It had the perfect amount of steam and sass with a good storyline.
Jolie Day is definitely a go to for steamy romantic comedies she has such a way with them. She manages to deliver the charm everytime. 🔥
Fans of workplace romances will definitely enjoy this one!
Aria was a mixed bag for me I really liked her character then I wasn't very happy with her attitude and choices because at times I found her to be a little immature. I liked that Aria was self aware of her attitude tho so it was refreshing to see that. Then she redeemed her self and she grew up. I understood her heartbreak when the conflict happened and I felt for her.
Damon was pretty charming from the start. I really liked him. Usually these types of character's tend to take a while for me to warm up to but I was charmed from the start. He did have his moments where I wanted to smack him and tell him to get his sh*t together tho.
Damon and Aria were fun together once Aria stopped playing games and Damon gave in to the connection they had.
It was nice to see Miles and Oliver again.
Narration; ❤️
I mean what can I say. I love this narration duo they're a favorite of mine!
Jason Clarke can do no wrong in my eyes. He's brings to much emotion to his characters and is great. 😍
Samantha Brentmoor is fabulous! I loved her here. She did such a good job with Aria's character. Playing on the immaturity and the development so well. ⭐️
Overall this was a fun audiobook with a fun story and incredible performances by Clarke and Brentmoor.
Thank-you to tbe author for the chance to review this ALC.
I absolutely loved this book.!!! It had Everything you could want in a romantic comedy ,great characters, hot chemistry, teasing banter and sweet tender moments that coincide with all the fun shenanigans. This is a forbidden/work place romance between Damon and Aria. Their relationship starts off as a one night stand after meeting at a bar, they don't even know eachothers names until Aria discovers Damon is in fact her brother's bestfriend and he works for her FATHER !..So she does the only thing she can she runs away. That is until circumstances happen and Aria ends up working for Damon after months apart,he is now her BOSS...The attraction is so strong and she is forever teasing him. Damon cannot believe the woman he cannot stop thinking about is no other than his bosses daughter and his best friends sister...she is forbidden fruit but that one night won't stop replaying in his mind and she keeps arriving to work looking like a sexy goddess, she is driving him crazy. Will he be able to curb his lust and remain professional?.. I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of Damon and Aria's escapades they were so hot together and I just couldn't get enough of this story. Jolie Day continuously writes book that I ALWAYS want to read, with characters that I can easily fall in love with, that amuse me and give me all the feels. Damon and Aria's romance is Sexy, funny and totally charming, a delight to read,I adored it. I Highly recommend it. Superb. 5 Stars.
Aria is the little sister of Oliver and Miles who feature in Books 1 and 2 in the KISS A BILLIONAIRE series. After a chance meeting and a night of off the charts heat, she realises that Damon is actually her brothers’ best friend. Cue the awkward morning after escape.
Damon is the Chief Technology officer for Aria’s father’s firm and the quintessential office grump. He has a reputation for being short on praise and harsh on his team but is also fair and provides an environment for them to grow and progress. He’s shocked to his core when she turns up in his office and takes a temporary role working on his team as the Chief Engineer. Not only does she take that role on but she excels at it.
Workplace romance is one of my favourite tropes to read and this one had Aria deliciously pushing Damon’s buttons. Hello conference table fun times. AND who doesn’t love a little forbidden love?
This was a story with some decadent spice and a hilarious heroine. She cracked me up when she said he “blue cl!tted” her!!! I’m also a sucker for a grumpy boss hole and Damon most certainly filled that role.
Samantha totally embodies the spontaneous wild child that is Aria. Full of sass with great timing and her male voice is as always on point. Jason’s signature growl was out in full force and was perfect for Damon. But he was also able to give us his more tender side. A top notch performance from both of these narrators
Jolie writes a steamy, funny, romcom with loveable characters.
An office romance between the boss's daughter and a higher executive
This is a stand-alone story but is also the third book in this series following the Humphries family.
Damon, a long-time best friend of the sons of Mr. Humphries (who owns the business Damon works for) meets the most beautiful girl he's ever seen at a bar and ends up sharing the most incredible night with her. The never shared names so when she wakes up early to find a bathroom and stumbles across a photo of her hookup with her two brothers, Aria Humphries knows that her one-night stand is also the friend her brothers have told her endless stories about. She quickly gathers her clothes and ghosts him.
Three months later, Aria is out of a job and gets a temp position in her dad's company which is overseen by Damon. Sparks fly between them and they have decide whether to risk their hearts and careers to pursue thier crazy chemistry or to play it smart.
I liked the premise of this story but it took for granted that the reader would know the back story of Damon, Miles and Oliver's friendship yet both friends threaten Damon that he'll lose his job if so much as glances at their sister, which seemed really over-the-top when Damon isn't written as a player. In the end, I liked the book, especially the back and forth flirty games they played while not actually pursuing the attraction they felt for each other.
Damon is Oliver and Miles best friend, so when he has a one-night stand with a woman he can’t forget about the boys tease him. They have never seen their friend like this. When Damon’s chief engineer gives his notice, he knows he is screwed. So, when Damon’s boss Miles and Oliver’s father suggest his daughter for the position, he was really hesitating, but he couldn’t say no to his boss. When Aria walks in his office for her interview, she never thought she would see her one-night stand again. Unbeknown to her neither did Damon but when he realizes who she was he knew he was screwed. Aria quit her job again and knew that she could survive for a while off her savings, but she would just have to find another job that just wouldn’t keep her attention. So, when her father asked her to come work for his company again, she decided to take the job but only until the project was completed. When she walked through her new boss’s office, she never thought that she would be looking at her one-night stand again. She knew Damon worked for her father, but she never really knew exactly what he did there until now. Damon and Aria’s story is quite a riot. It will make you laugh out loud and rooting for them to figure out away to work something out without her father or her bothers’ finding out. This is a book that was so great you didn’t want to put the book down. I received this book a part of an ARC review in exchange for an honest review.
(Damon & Ariana): great telling of my brother's best friend sub genre. Ariana is unhappy with her job, unable to really express herself. So she finds a hard time getting her assignments done on time. Damon is the chief technical officer, or something like that, at Ariana's family company. He works for her dad and brothers. When one of their engineers puts in notice to leave, Damon suddenly needs some help. His boss suggests they bring in his daughter who's recently graduated but never wants to work for the family. Imagine the shock when both Damon and Ariana realize that they are each other's one night stand from a few weeks ago. They try to keep things professional but the night they shared was so hot that they can't stop reliving it in their dreams. But Ariana's brothers will kill Damon if they find out what they've done. The story becomes a scorching game of "down low" as they play with fire. Damon is not your typical billionaire. He's an engineer so he's got extreme intelligence but he's also got the bad boy side too; riding his motorcycle every weekend with his best friend. Ariana is a little wilder. Less uptight, more willing to push the limits. I really liked this book. Loved the plot and the twists.
