“Are you just not hungry enough? Not hungry enough for power?”

Tino Shade’s unexpectedly difficult rescue mission has landed her party in hot water, and the pack of bloodthirsty wolf knights doesn’t seem interested in taking prisoners. With Krai showing up out of the blue, they might have a chance—that is, until he ends up in the same jam! With fearsome foes on all sides, will Krai finally flex the true power of a level 8 treasure hunter…or is he all talk, as usual?

Krai manages to BS his way through a fight, getting lost, and getting someone else to take the lead. Only to run into one of his other party members and Tino's mentor: Liz Smart.

I hate her.

She's horribly abusive, physically and verbally, and spends the majority of her a page time screaming at her "disciple" and her enemies. And the only reason she gets away with it is because she's too strong for anyone to stop her and she's a cute (?). She's still a bitch. (Seriously, at least Bakugo has some chill and gets his aggression out in one-liners)

Such a comedy of errors with the main guy. His actions all get interpreted to be godlike when they really aren't. Fun to read.
