Male-Order Mates #5

The Uncertain Unicorn

Rate this book
A group of unicorns is a blessing…
Once there were many unicorns, but now we are few, and with the loss of my tiger-shifter mate, one half-unicorn half-orphan. My daughter and I are rarities in the world. The university where I hoped for tenure has just shut down their entomology department, leaving few other options to support us. Bug studies in the big city? Not so much. I need to make a new start. Remarkably I’ve found the opportunity both to work and to ease the loneliness of the past several years in a national park out West. If I dare...

I might have been out of my mind or possibly drunk the night I filled out the Male-Order Mates app form that night. But so many of my fellow rangers have had incredible luck in meeting their special omega that the thought of one more winter in that cabin alone provided the final boost to clicking the send button. Cliff is a unicorn, not another bear like me, but he’s also interested in accepting the special project we’ve had trouble finding, making it a win win for both of us. Or a huge mistake. But how did I miss the message that it’s not just a male-order unicorn...but that he comes as a package deal with a very sassy daughter. They’ve given up their home and everything else to come here and start fresh. And there are no other available winterized cabins, so we are going to spend the cold, snowy months together. Me. A unicorn omega. And Felicity...

If the past blurb spoiled the book (and wrong, I might add), this one oversold it. I know walking in that Lorelei does diet, low sugar to sugar free conflict. But this one was artificially sweetened. The blurb claims a lot more conflict than what happens in the book, which left me expecting more. Everything landed on their laps, no fighting for it. A bit too perfectly, too conveniently. Even without the slightly higher expectations set by the blurb, it may have fallen short.

A little extra

Everest knew that unicorn Cliff was coming to be his mate. However, he didn't get the email about Cliff's daughter. A lot of family loving found her!

The Uncertain Unicorn is the fifth book in the ‘Male-Order Mates’ series. It stars Cliff, an omega unicorn shifter, and Everest, an Alpha bear shifter. This is told in first person from both Cliff and Everest’s povs.

Funny that the sample was so short and instantly after buying the book, the problems showed... I feel tricked... and my annoyance will be reflected in the tone of my review and notes, but not making it less valid.

The book had no plot at all. No feelings, no chemistry... It was slow-paced and so boring it took me too many days to finish an otherwise short book. Every scene is meant for the plot to move forward. If a scene or chapter doesn't do that, or make the character go through a character development, it should be deleted. So this book would only have been 4-5 chapters long.

The name for the book and cover should have been thought about more. Cliff never shifts and him being a unicorn has no impact on the book was so ever, "The uncertain unicorn" ??? Maybe for the first 3-5 chapters but after that no, he was totally fine.

For two authors who have been doing this for a while, it seems like they are riding on a high horse. Because they have not developed as an author at all since book 1 until now. It is so badly written and so uninspiring.

Too much tell and too little show, made the story boring to read, more than the mistakes already did for it.

The characters were bland and had no character development at all.

There has not even been a good reason why this should have been a shifter romance. They could have been ordinary people for all I care.

The attempt to make Cliff "special" because of his unicorn throughout the book made me cringe. It was a stupid attempt and I didn’t understand them.

I noticed the author chose to call the driveway for just "the drive". How lazy... it's not a text message to a friend you are writing...

This book is the "king" of coincidence and it quickly became very noticeable! A little convenient coincidence here and there is fine, but this was too on the nose and it has to have a setup and then a payoff, not just throw it out there as the author did.

People have to stop writing a multiple POV book in first person. First-person makes you go deep into the protagonist's mind, which people can't seem to do right either. But when you shift POV like this book written in first person, it gets confusing. Whose POV was is now and so on?

We only get to know Cliff is Cliff by the tag on the chapter, but we are not really introduced as the reader. Where Everest is introduced smoothly by his friend saying his name in chapter 1.

And Cliff? Really? Personally, I think a unisex kind of name would suit an omega better. Not a gruff name like Cliff.

*From here on there can be SPOILERS, but it is sectioned in chapters so you can stop reading when you think it's too far in.*

Chapter3

"Mate. Ours. Mate. How can you know that from a photograph? I asked. You can’t even scent him. Mate."
This is too overused, when do people find another way to make this scene before I throw up from the bomb of cliché? Also cant use scent as a verb...

"He was a professor whose department had been forced to let him go and, in a great coincidence, Sheppard had mentioned an opening for an entomologist to lead a study in our forest."
Of course how convenient... omg.. seriously?

"We had just one Facetime before he came, and seeing that face mobile and eyes sparkling, the sadness nearly gone as we talked about our plans, was enough to quell any doubts."
Why are we getting told all this?? Why can't we experience that part of their bonding? I would say it is a very important part of the book...

"“We are, too.” The shifter “we.” Used only between shifters. Especially unicorns. There weren’t many, but they were magical creatures with their own ways."
This feels stupid to me, but whatever floats your boat. But that last part.. I'm 13 % into the book here, and that fact that the omega is a unicorn is thrown in my face just like that. I know there is a unicorn in the book obviously, but it should have been conveyed in the text better.

"park radio in there. Useful for on-call days. Like today. “Dispatch to Unit 3. Everest, are you there?” No… “This is Everest, go ahead dispatch.”"
How convenient when he said on-call employees hardly get called in. And even more convenient when he is on his way to pick up Cliff...
"“I’m on it. I hope I can get through, there’s been a tower down all day…I’ll do my best.”"
How convenient again...

Chapter 5

"It took hours to find the poacher and take him into custody. Two hours."
The chapter starts like this like it all already had happened. But then we go on the journey with Everest to find this poacher... why...

"The poacher had a head start, but I hoped that all my running around in the woods would give me more stamina, a fact proven when I rounded a"
Dah... you're a bear stupid... omg...

"sucked in a stuttering breath and let it out, coughing. “Everest, I got this.” Hawke knelt beside me. “Is he breathing?” “He is now. How far out are the EMTs?”"
Where the hell did Hawke come from? Maybe Everest should have had a thought saying "he could hear someone running in their direction" something...

"“He is now. How far out are the EMTs?” “We’re here.” The medics clattered up to us, and one said, “You weren’t very far from the road at all. Let us take over.”"
That was quick and very convenient that they weren't far from the road..

"And a man facing away from me, talking to a small girl whose tear-streaked face was enhanced by her trembling lower lip. She looked tired and sad and wary and…why was there a little girl with my mate?"
Oh first he is "a man facing away" and now he is his mate? Why...

what logic does Cliff have to not tell Everest about his daughter before he basically is planning on moving in with him??? Oh right nothing but artificial surprise.. stupid stupid stupid... omg... look at all my notes already and that was only the first 5 chapters...

Chapter 6

"He came. I mean, of course, he did, but also, there were a few minutes there when the place was locked up and it was only Felicity and me outside that I wondered. It wasn’t fair to him that I already let the seeds of distrust grow."
A few minutes? More like hours. We just got told that the stationmaster would be there an hour before and after a train came. I don't believe he leaves for a few minutes then comes back. It must be hours. And it took Everest 2 hours to find the poacher.

"she just shared something that to her was really personal, with him."
With Everest, not him. Saying "with him" it sounds like it's Cliff. But it's his POV.

"Maybe he wasn’t my perfect match, and he wasn’t my one true love, but he connected well with Felicity, and that was what mattered most."
How does he know? They haven't talked to each other yet and he hasn't even introduced her to Everest!!

"His scent slammed into me as we walked. It was familiar and yet not. Like a Christmas tree and lollipops blended together."
Just say he smelled like musk.....

"“Thank you. Do you have kids?” I probably should’ve asked that earlier, but he never seemed to want to discuss Felicity when I tried to bring her up, so I brushed it off as too much for computerized conversation."
This is his reason? Really... this??? And by the way.. Everest asked what his most important thing was but he didn’t answer.. so I call bullshit!!!

What a lousy dialogue from page 36 to 39..

Chapter 7

"I didn’t know any others, but if I’d been a better listener, I’d have figured it out. And been prepared for her arrival with a neat and cute bedroom for this adorable little girl to customize."
Or the asshole could just have told you!!!!

"I didn’t have any knives or swords or anything like that, and I locked my gun in the safe as soon as I walked in."
Yeah because the Americans are known for their gun safety 🙄

Have we been told how old the child is at this point??

"“I have dinner in the slow cooker. I’m not sure how kid-friendly it is though.”"
Wait wait wait!!! So he has had the slow cooker running while being away for almost half a day?! What a fire hazard!

"“Felicity, I have some apple juice in the pantry, but it’s boxes. I hope you don’t mind. My friend’s little girl loves those pouches.”"
Of course, Everest has apple juice in box, just like the kid had begged for on the station, how coincidental...

"“Just out of curiosity, when I sent the email about Felicity, who did you think I meant?”"
What email? We have heard nothing of this?

"“The email with the school field trip? There was a picture of us together?” He shook his head. “You didn’t get it?” “You said it had a photo?” I nodded. “It probably was too much for my Internet. I’ve been looking into getting better service."
Of course! How inconvenient!! Stop it... this ain't windows 98 anymore.....

Shouldn't Everest have taken a shower or at least changed clothes? Wasn't he dirty after falling to the ground earlier?

Chapter 8

"“They don’t just drop them off at the post office, no, but they do ship them.”"
I have seen that being done though. Not that I agree with the method.

"“Well, if you ever want one here, just let me know. But one thing…can we not have a scorpion?”"
Why does the entomologist not correct Everest? A scorpion is not a bug but a predatory arachnid.

Chaper 10

"I was sinking into his kiss 100 percent because"
It really stood out that the author had chosen to use numbers here.

"My unicorn was itching to get out, too. “I didn’t know you were a wolf. Should I go bake muffins?”"
Wolf? What? I'm so confused!

"Would my unicorn be a disappointment? Sure, I had a cool horn, but really, I was a useless beast."
Useless? Why the fuck would the author use a unicorn in her book if she was not planning on using this amazing mythical creature to do something interesting? Seriously... I skipped book 2-4 to read about a unicorn, I was not even planning on reading more from this author because book 1 was a big disappointment in itself. And this book has proven to be that too... even if the author didn't plan for the unicorn in her book to be a magical being (though it should be, because that's what a unicorn is) it's still a massive horse with a lance on it's head.

"stoke the fire one last time, and take a shower. If you’re still awake after that, we can talk. I’d love to hear about your favorite colors, what you like to eat, and anything"
I feel this should have been simple questions they would have asked each other when they were writing back and forth before the omega moved...

Page 67
Maybe the quickest and most boring s6x scene I have ever read. Nothing special and not many emotions shown to add to the love and sexiness, no depth at all...

Chapter 12

"Everest had been a great teacher, and I had a blaze to be proud of burning shortly."
I don't remember him teaching him. But I remember on page 41 that he said “We had a fireplace at home, and she never went near it. I had a gate around it when she was smaller.”

Chapter 13

"I got out my adorable honey pot with its dipper that I knew she’d love and set it on the table."
So he's Weenie the Poo??

Chapter fifteen

"So, as soon as her daddy kissed us both goodbye and left in his new department-issued truck, I cleared the breakfast table and told Felicity to get ready to go."
After the call from the job it skipped the trip to the office they had planned. But did they go? Because Cliffs new job could just have talked to him when they got there, right??

"“I love horse riding. I took lessons on Saturdays at home.”"
A unicorn child riding a horse.. how... I don't know what no say..

"Taking the tourists out on their rescued and carefully trained horses"
I'm just gonna say no.. depending on what these horses are rescued from, which I guess is from bad homes aka abused horses. These horses can have PTSD (I don't care this is fiction.) If a tourist who has not much or no knowledge about horses do something that can trigger an old memory, the horse can go back to square one and it can get dangerous for the tourist, so no. Just no.

"It’s not really for sale, you know how the Lucas boy is, but right after that car, take a left."
Is this something some the other book? In that case, how should Cliff know, it's his second day at the job and 4th day in town.

Chapter 17

"I congratulated myself for being so practical even as I signed a credit card slip that made me think I should have said no to some things."
I can't stop thinking that Cliff at least should have felt bad for making Everest pay for all those things...

Chapter 18

I don't know if it just was because I was tired, but I didn’t understand half of this, it only confused me.

I'm gonna puke if I'm ever gonna read another book where they call each other "alpha mine"...

Chapter 19

I didn’t feel any excitement for the couple when Cliff announced he was pregnant. It was so blandly written, no feelings at all.

Chapter 20

"I walked over to her and ran my hand down the only non-white part of her coat, a single tiger’s stripe. “You are so much like your mama. You even have one of her stripes.”"
A fucking unicorn with a fucking tigerstripe??? Stop!!!! I'm cringing!!!!

Chapter 21

"“Everest, pregnant unicorns send out a hormone that makes our mates crave sexual contact more frequently.""
I'm dying... make this book end!! Please!!! I can't take this anymore...

"Sipping at his cock was better than the finest champagne."
Noooooooo!!!!

Chapter 22

"Hymie and my coworkers in the research program arranged a shower for me."
I thought something had happened to him. But it's a baby shower

"but the top featured a sculpture of my mate’s bear, a big unicorn and a small one, all pushing a stroller together."
I'm trying to imagine this, but I can't. It only looks stupid in my mind.

Stop using babe as a reference for baby... it sounds disgusting because I hear "what's up babe!" In my inner ear.

"Shifters didn’t always do ultrasounds, and unicorns did only if the doctor or midwife had a concern, which ours did not. One more reason we didn’t know who to expect. Traditionally, my people never found out, even if tests were required."
Doesn't make any sense. Don't try to find stupid ways to make him "special". Just fucking say it is tradition to not know the gender until birth...........

Chapter 23

""Aquila and Cliff were thick as thieves, calling and Facetiming one another multiple times a day,""
We haven't even seen a single dialogue between those two as far as I remember. Why should I care about their relationship when we haven't even seen them interact???

Chapter 24

""Even when the midwife told me the heart rate had them suspecting a boy, I knew.""
Excuse me what? I know this is a fantasy novel, but.. what???

""I was in labor but that it was nearly time to push, and a half hour later I was. “You have a beautiful baby boy.” Angie placed him on my chest, umbilical cord still at""
That was fast...

""Do you want me to clean them up and have""
Clean them? You should wait at least 24 hours before cleaning them. They are not born dirty. The vernix caseosa is beneficial for the child and should not be cleaned off.

"“Your mama was a smart woman,” Everest said. “Maybe we should name your sister after her.”"
Stooooooop!! It's so American! Stop hanging on to grief like that!!! So the child is not going to be its own self because you are "comparing" it to this person who died. Stop that!!! It's fucking abusive!!

""And that’s how our sweet daughter got her name, Bailey, my Kylieanna’s last name. Our son was named George, Everest’s middle name.""
Stooooooop!!!!!!!

Epilogue

""daughter whose tiger ferocity combined with unicorn magic to make everything special.""
Oh so they do have magic. Was it so hard to write about you just choosing to say he was a boring unicorn with a spear on his forehead???

How cliche to use an epilogue to either make people birth a child or get married. It's not what an epilogue should be used for, that is just a normal chapter. This is overused and people should stop it!

I am reading every book in the series, and this is my favorite so far. I loved all the books, and they all pretty much, had the same basic theme, and all well written. Not only in this one is there a unicorn but this unicorn is a widow with a five year old daughter. After his wife died, he needed to change so he went on the app to find an alpha, someone who could love him and his daughter. So Cliff and his daughter Felicity hopped on a train after finding a match. Everest was so excited to have his Omega coming, after talking with him, and even FaceTiming him, he still missed something important because his Omega had a daughter. Not just any daughter, but a daughter that became such an important part of his life along with her father. I guess that’s why I loved the book so much, Felicity. The young unicorn shifter was so special in this book. She made this book fun, exciting, and challenging for a bear shifter. But Everest and Cliff made it work, and she was a big part of their lives, along with a couple special additions.

Everest and Cliff's Story . . .

Cliff, a unicorn shifter, had lost his mate, then his job, and had no other options. He and his young 5-year-old daughter Felicity had to find somewhere to start over. He connected with Everest, an Alpha bear shifter, on a Male-Order Mates app and, sight unseen, they traveled to a national park out West to meet Everest.

Everest had been a bit drunk when he filled out the Male-Order Mates app form. Or perhaps it was Fate? His fellow rangers were all finding their happiness with their special omega while Everest had remained lonely. Not only will Everest get his omega mate, but he will gain a feisty daughter as well. They will be spending time together in the winterized cabin during the cold, snowy months. Will Felicity accept her father’s new mate? Will they become a close loving family?

Delightful! I like when stories have adorable kids who compliment the MC. Everest, is a ranger bear shifter whose friends are finding their mates and starting their families. He tells himself he is resigned with his single unmated status. Cliff and Felicity have had to make several adjustmenst after his wife died. Losing grant funding cost him his job. Male-Order Mate seems to be everyone's solution. Can a bear and a unicorn be compatible? Will Cliff like his new home? Will Felicity? Can Everest adjust to the new town, new friends? The journey this new group of three travel is fun, romantic and adventurous. Felicity is adorable. I would love a few holiday stories years down the road to hear how all the kids are doing. Great story, well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this book! The story of Everest and Cliff is full of lost jobs, mated friends, a big move and one very sassy little girl. Cliff has lost his mate and has their daughter, Felicity. The loss of his job will find him on Male-Order Mates where he will find a match in Everett, who signed up one night after a bit too much to drink. Everest is envious of what his ranger friends have with their mates but it will finally be his turn when Cliff and Felicity show up and change his life for the better. It was an absolute joy to read and I highly recommend it!

Once there were many unicorns, but now there are few, and with the loss of Cliff's tiger-shifter mate, his daughter is a one half-unicorn and one half-tiger rarity. A unicorn omega. And Felicity...

This was a sweet story of how Cliff and Everest met and built a family with daughter Felicty. I liked the sassiness of Felicity but I did think that Cliff was a bit irresponsible with the move and leap of faith with a daughter in tow. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

This is book 5 in the series but I was able to enjoy it as a stand alone. This is the story of Cliff and Everest. Cliff is an omega unicorn shifter. He is widower with a half unicorn half tiger daughter. Life is good until it isn't. He loses his job due to budget cuts. Deciding he has nothing to lose, he submits a profile on the Male Order Mates App. Everest is an alpha bear shifter and ranger. All his coworkers are pairing off and he is feeling lonely. After over indulging one night he wakes up the next morning enrolled on the Male Order Mates App. Cliff and Everest hit it off over the phone. They talk and begin to build a friendship. Deciding to take a chance, Cliff and his daughter Felicity pack up to move to Everest. Cliff has already lined up another entomologist job to start for the park services just after he arrives. One key surprise awaits them all. But the way they all handle it sets the tone for the rest of the story. This is their story. This is a great light story. No real angst. An enjoyable short read.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Cliff & Everest. When this book opens we find that Everest is working as a park ranger but he is lonely. So some the rangers in their group tell him to sign up for Male-Order Mates. He isn't sure but he gives it a go. When he is matched with Cliff he isn't sure but knows he wants someone what he didn't plan on was Cliff's plus one. Cliff has done everything for his daughter since he lost his mate. When he finds out his teaching position at the college is being cut due to budget cuts he doesn't know what he will do. After putting himself on Male-Order Mates he isn't sure if he has done the right thing for him and his daughter but the more he talks to Everest the more he wants to be with him. Can these two find a HEA or is there something that will get in the way of this?

Another amazing story by this author. So many ups and downs I want to tell you about but doe't want to ruin it for other readers. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Cliff, Everest and Felicity were such an adorable family. Even before the new additions.

For Cliff, life wasn't so simple. He lost his mate, his job, and had to relocate with his young daughter. After meeting Everest through a male-order mates app, he made the decision to take the two of them to a place they've never been, for an entirely new life with an alpha they'd never met in person. With a few technology faux pas and miscommunication, Everest realized "they" meant he and Felicity, not he and his animal.
Everest was so worried about whether or not Felicity would accept him. Turns out, she was much more welcoming than either of them expected. Especially after so many changes.
Their lives intertwined relatively fast and seamless, given the circumstances. Making a house for one a home for many, Felicity in school, Cliff's new job, and a few surprise family additions.

YAY UNICORNS! I love shifter romance, especially when it’s LGBTQIA+ but unicorns will forever make it way cooler. There is something about unicorns that is so magical even in a paranormal book. I loved how they got to know each other and the chemistry they had when meeting in person was just perfect. I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series and while everything made sense regardless I want to read them now.
*SPOILERS BEGIN*

I completely understand how Everest missed the bit about Felicity and how both he and Cliff problem solved together. I loved watching them learn about being a family and how Felicity adapted to the situation. I loved the little bit where Everest had the same name as a cartoon dog that Felicity loved, it was adorable. Overall this story was super sweet but had some good steamy bits to even it out.

“Mama told me love multiplies, Must be the size of our hearts does, too.”

Did I get excited by the title of this one? yes, yes I did.

I think this was my first unicorn shifter book with a baby shifter who is also a unicorn!
This one grabbed me from the beginning (minus the bugs ) but Cliff had me just wanting a happy ending for him after what he has gone through, add in Felicity and I was sold.
Everest the big softy, the minute his situation changes from a double to a triple he jumped right in. We love a supportive other half, especially a big bear shifter who drops everything when there is discomfort.

These three together are heart melting and keep it interesting throughout. Little Felicity has big words for such a small person and it left me smiling so big.

After the last 2 books of this series I read I was hesitant to continue but I am glad I kept going.

Everest is a bear shifter and a park ranger he’s lonely it’s especially hard when he watches his friends with their mates, one of his friends suggests that he should check out the mail order mates site but Everest wasn’t interested until the next morning the app said that he had been matched but Everest didn’t think that he got that drunk. Cliff a single dad a unicorn shifter and a professor of entomology sadly he was fired he wanted a new start so he joined the mail order mates and he was matched up with Everest. I loved this m/m shifter romance and the characters and I highly recommend this book.

"Mating required honesty,"

Everest never imagined he'd sign up on an app for finding a mate, but some nights you do the unexpected, and wake up the next morning trying to remember why.

Cliff's life has been one rough turn after another of late, but something inside tells him this mate app is worth taking a chance on.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read brings together two characters who are willing to try, to put in the work, prepared to listen and learn, and their story unfolds in an incredibly charming and relatable manner as they each take a chance.

(Felicity just might be my favorite character, that girl is a charmer.)

So I am constantly surprised at my new-found love of shift romance stories. I want to say novels but sub-100 to sub-200 pages, depending on the title, I don't consider a novel or book. They are GREAT stories though and I'm very happy to have found them.

Simple, formulaic, romances w/ cute characters, a continuity of community, and celebrations of love. What's not to come back for? Each book in the series is like a new episode of your favorite tv show. I didn't read them in order and I don't feel like it harmed the stories at all, so grab whichever one comes to you first and plow through them.

What a great story. It was a story that made you feel good. Even though Cliff, who is a unicorn shifter, had lost his mate in an accident and then his job on that anniversary, there was an upside to it all. He met Everest who was a Ranger bear shifter who wanted a family of his own. They were perfect for each other and Everest fell in love with Cliff‘s daughter Felicity too. There is a surprise twin birth at the end, but everyone is happy and they have their future of a happily ever after.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I really enjoyed this story as it seemed fate wants to give happiness to Everest, Cliff and Felicity. Everest is lonely and signs up for the male-order mate app and is matched to Cliff who is ready for a change after losing his job. That a job is available where Everest works is icing on the cake. They recognize each other as mates before meeting in person and after only confirms it. It was a very sweet story of a family coming together and growing.

A match made in computer heaven, and a precocious little girl...

I simply love this series! The characters are so intriguing; coming alive from page one. This chapter follows Cliff, unicorn, & his 5 year old daughter as they travel across the country to meet their match: an Alpha bear forest ranger named Everest. Love comes quickly. Is it simply fate or unicorn magic. Look for old friends, ecology, insects, horses, and honey. Ooh, and sparklies and lots of glitter. And babies. Yes, babies. You are gonna love this book!

This installment of Male-Order Mates is sweet perfection. Cliff's strength to reach for a new life for himself and his little girl was impressive. He's a great dad and is determined to make things work. Finding Everest at the other end of the journey turns out so much better than he imagined. Everett's reaction to finding not only his new mate but an unexpected child was lovely. The way he interacted with her just proved repeatedly what a wonderful man he was. Everett finds everything he could hope for and even more by opening his heart and home to Cliff and Felicity.

I'm really loving this series. This one was a little different and I enjoyed the family dynamic. Cliff, a widower, coming in with his daughter and Everest easy acceptance and love for them both. He definitely was a papa bear and an alpha I love reading about in these romances. No angsty or drama filled rollercoaster ride...this right here was filled with goodness and sweetness. A little heat but mostly all fluff. Loved it and hope to read more in the series.

This is the fourth book in the MM Shifter Mpreg Romance Male- Order Mates series This just a sweet quick read with loveable ranger bear shifter Everest and unicorn professor unicorn shifter Cliff who find love through the app. But the sparkly star of the story might be 'Buttercup' Felicity the daughter of Cliff and his deceased tigerr mate. All the warm, fuzzies and feels for this sweet book.

This book is the cutest ever
Wow what a beautiful read about two mates destined to find each other through a male order mates site! But that’s what happens for Everest and Cliff. And the cutest little girl Felicity who is Cliff’s daughter. And this book is about them coming together and being a family.
This is a beautiful book, a wonderful romantic tale that will just capture your heart. A lovely read.

It's ok!

I love this author but this book was a little bit too fluffy, there's no conflict, no doubt, no intrigue. They decide to mate thru male order app. They become a family, settling down, kids and wedding. That's about it. I was a little disappointed.
Would have love more feelings, more idk... struggle to becoming a "stepdad", or accept the stepdad dedication for his daughter idk...
If you love fluffy, family shifters, interspecies, mpreg this book has it all.

. . .
É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . .
. . Boa Leitura 😘

A sweet story!

I adored Felicity: she was cute but her sweet message to Everest made me well up.

Cliff and Felicity needed Everest as much as he needed them. I enjoyed watching Everest win Felicity’s heart which he won in no time.

Great story

I am absolutely loving this series. You don’t have to read the others but they are all so good. This was a sugary sweet story about a bear and a unicorn finding their fated mates. Throw in a half unicorn/half tiger adorable little girl and it gets even sweeter. This was such a great story.
