Adele is punishing herself for what she did to her mother's killer, putting in doubt her capability to work as an FBI agent. Her relationship with John is also different now, as he is a parent, and wants to excel as a dad, therefore, having less time for Adele and she resents it in some ways. Together they start searching for a serial killer doing his deeds throughout Europe. Will they be able to understand his triggers and find him? What else is lurking in the shadows of this case and how will it affect this duo? I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series! I received a free copy of this book from the author and this is my unbiased review.
Really need to get a decent editor. Way too many mistakes, which detracts from enjoyment of book. Earlier books in the series weren’t this bad. Need to stay on top of it.
Adele questions her own actions or lack thereof in the death of her mother's killer. And now with John's daughter in his life she feels he hasn't got as much time for her. Should she tell John and what about her father? How would they feel about her if she tells them? Then she and John are called to investigate a serial killer in an area with numerous brothels. Keeps you reading to see if they can find out who this person can be. Can't wait for the next in this series.
