Oh finally a vampire, pirate and erotica book in one! Oh how long I have waited for something this wonderful!

And wonderful it is! Well written, with deep characters and an understanding for the medieval setting this book is definitely worth reading. It is rather short (its one great flaw!) but for all that packed with events and relationships.

I would have perhaps started the book with a bit more mystery... not exactly come forth with all vampire details right away, but the story moved faster bec

5 Nymphs and a Recommended Read!! "From the start, Vampires of Noctra: Blood Bounty is a rush of lust-filled, action-packed story. The writing is superb, and Darcy Abriel draws in the reader with brilliantly-written passages and descriptions..." --Satyr Vael, Literary Nymphs Reviews Only

This a classical pirate story setting in the Caribbean sea of the nineteen century with a twist.

Dontè is a vampirate, a vampire captain with a crew of willing donor. All the sailor in his ship are also his lovers, and lovers among them; actually they live like in a new-flowers community :-), all beautiful men, with long braided hair and strong and hard bodies. Dontè is the only vampire and he is like a pater familias for his men, no one, even the more rebellious, will ever put on stake the capta

I can't believe I read this. And then at the final page it ends without an if I wanted to pay for another.

But since it really isn't fair to just give a bad review, I'll state why I didn't like it.
It was too out there in the character interactions. Everything was just attributed to pheromones or some such non-answer for the way characters were in a constant orgy like state. The "BDSM" was more WTF than anything. Just the whole thing was not to my liking. The protagonists...? I guess

I'll freely admit that I didn't finish this. mostly because I'm not into a book with all men and no women but I wouldn't rate it harshly for that because its just personal preference. what I will rate it harshly for was opening with a sex scene that had no lead in at all and counting the word vampire six times in one page. we get it he's a vamp move the f*** on already! its tedious to see vampire captain or vampire master every five words...and poor writing if you ask me

if you feel inadequate as far as your creative skills are concerned then definitely read that book. it's really small and i laughed a lot. i mean the plot is amazing -i am being ironic in case it's not obvious-
as far as i understood this is a world of gay people where everyone f***s everyone
when i began i searched for words like "woman", "girl", but there was no result. there are no women in this book!
i love trash, so if you are bored and in the need to feel smart read it.

The premise of the book was good. A vampire pirate captain sailing the seas with a boat load of hot gorgeous men that fights zombies sounded good. And it was, right up until it ended with question. There were loose ends and they were not tied up, at least not for me. And as far as I can tell, there is no other book coming. *sighs*

really enjoyed it but I really didn't like the ending. there were so many loose ends as it just cut it off suddenly that it let the book down.

Darcy Abriel delights in the stories that flirt with the dark side of emotion and passion. Going back to the days of Saturday Night Chiller Theaters, series such as Twilight Zone and the Outer Limits, toss in a dash of Alfred Hitchcock and these are the stories that have always fascinated Darcy. That edgy sense of danger that leaves one tingling. Be it a roller coaster ride, a Dracula movie, or a ...more
