A Berry Bookish Puzzle is the tenth book in the Kylie Berry Mystery Series. Though it can be read as a standalone, it's best read in series order.
This is a humorous cozy mystery featuring a strong female protagonist, some unusual friends and family, and a mystery that needs solving! It has no graphic gore, bad language or scenes.
It had so much potential. I have loved this series until this one. There are just too many glaring mistakes. At one point, it's clear the text was restructured but wasn't proofed correctly and it spoils itself!! I still enjoyed it, just not as much as I could have if the finished product had been smoother.
This 10th book of the Kylie Berry series like its predecessors is hard to put down and leave the reader thinking until the end. There are a few parts that the reader may forget whom a character is or one huge instance of a character mentioning something that didn’t even happen yet and leaves a couple of questions. Overall A Berry Bookish Puzzle is a fun book with humor mystery and heart.
It was a wonderful cozy read. Characters as always really good and sounds funny but I think I know who the hit man is. How do you choose a guy for her they are all so wonderful but skipped a book in the series so the Joel thing surprised me. Stand alone good but only if you haven’t read a few of the others but not all first then it throws you off
I loved this latest installment of Kylie's story! The usual cast of characters, threats and near-death happenings, plus her cooking is improving! Her love life still has some muddled areas, but what can you expect from Kylie?
Oh my! I thoroughly enjoyed this. So many things going on at once but keeping you intrigued. I love the books in this series. A.R.Winters is a favorite of mine and can't wait to read more.
It was a quick read and a fun ‘sorbet’ between other books. My only complaint was it could have done with some additional proof reading. It wasn’t so bad such that I might pick up another in the series.
These books are so well written and fun to read! This author is so talented. I am so glad to have found them. These cozy mysteries have everything: excitement, humor, danger, romance, friendships. You're going to love these books!
Virtual voice was just ok. Close but still enjoy the warmth of a human voice.
Story was fun and light. Great characters and interactions with each other. There was a warm sense of community between the characters. I would enjoy more by this author. Maybe not with a virtual voice however.
I think this book is needs editing. There are some glaring mistakes in the sequencing. Otherwise it was okay, but not as good as the earlier novels in this series.
I would have given it 4 stars if two characters didn't have a conversation about a plot point that had NOT happened yet. That is a huge editing/proofreading error to miss.
