Luanne McCall is a marriage agent who has found sucessful matches for many happy couples in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She is a widow and was happily married to her husband for nearly 25 years before he died. Jason Enderby is a glassblower and a widower whose wife died of an illness after nearly 20 years of marriage. Jason has admired Luanne for a long time but she was so focused on finding happiness for others she was not focused on her own happiness. When her her deceased husband's younger brother Carl came to town insisting Luanne marry him and retrun with him to Boston things got interesting. Luanne dispises Carl and refuses to marry him, but Carl will not accept her refusal and resorts to kidnapping Luanne. Jason cannot lose Luanne and allong with the Sheriff and Deputy goes after Carl and rescues Luanne. Will Luanne accept Jason's love? This is a wonderful ending to a great enjoyable series.

I highly recommend this book by Indiana Wake if you enjoy reading about clean romance especially for older couples like Luanne and Jason who are both widowed. This book kept me reading because of all the exciting things trying to keep this couple apart. There are misunderstandings and a kidnapping then the birth of a grandchild and finally a wedding. This is the final book in the Mail Order Brides of Truth or Consequences series, and I bave enjoyed each book. I was given an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Luanne and Jason

This is a story of two middle aged people who find love again. Unfortunately, Luanne is being pursued by her deceased husband’s brother, Carl.

Clean and sweet. A couple of modern day phrases, but other than that, it was a nice short read.
