Chasing Bullets is a book about forgiveness and love. Two years ago, after an investigation went wrong, Tara Hunter's partner got shot to save her from the murder. Tara could not handle the situation, so she ran to Byron Bay to start a new life. Tara never expects to see David Cooper. However, she was wrong; one night in the local pub, she saw David Cooper in Byron Bay investigating a crime. Tara did not plan to become involved with David Cooper's investigation; however, she did. The readers of Chasing Bullets will continue to follow David and Tara to find out what happens.
I love Suzanne Cass's books and generally engage with her books from the start. I had trouble engaging with the plot and characters of this book, and I am trying to figure out why. I enjoyed Suzanne Cass's portrayal of her characters and how they interact with each other throughout this book. Chasing Bullets is well-written and researched by Suzanne Cass. I like Suzanne Cass's description of the settings of Chasing Bullets that completed the book's plot.
The readers of Chasing Bullets will learn about the issues Law Enforcement Officers can have when their partners get shot. Also, the readers of Chasing Bullets will learn about living in Bryon Bay.
I recommend this book.
