After years of successfully hiding, the monster who tortured me for years has me in his grasp again. This time, Matello is even more determined to bend me to his will, to make me obey, to break me.
What he doesn’t realize is just how close I am to shattering. Not from the physical torment, but from not knowing what became of the three men who would tear down the world for me.
I don’t know if they’re alive. If they somehow survived Matello’s assault. But I fear they didn’t. It’s been months since he took me, months that I’ve withstood his ‘training’ and abuse. If they were alive, wouldn’t they have come for me?
If I think about it for too long, I will break. What I need is to focus, to understand why I’m here, Matello’s obsession with me. Once I’ve done that, I will use it against him, learn his secrets and he will be the one broken in the end.
KILL is a 111,000+ word full-length novel. Includes foul language and sexual scenes; any sex featured is consensual. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book three of three in the series.
Well we sort of plod along in this book. The same things seem to happen in this one that happened in the others. I’m still not sure how I feel about the FMC and her men. They drive me crazy with their over protective BS. She whines and cries about it and then forgives them almost instantly after threats of never forgiving them and divorce. In my personal opinion when you throw out divorce in your marriage you better be serious about it. She has a ton of trauma I get that but they could have focused on training her more and helping her become BA. The guys go back and forth one minute saying she is so strong and made for gang life the next locking her away. Ugh it was annoying. The ending was fine the reason for the obsession was fine. Nothing amazing. Just fine. Lots of typos. Misplaced words. Missing words, sometimes sentences didn’t make sense at all. Character names in the wrong place etc.
2.5 stars for the entire trilogy. The review is also for the trilogy. This is essentially every other NA contemporary RH just with the names of the places and characters leaning toward the Roman/Greek Gods. Very much interchangeable with every other RH of it's style. No real character growth or development and the heroine is a TSTL archetype- so that was awesome. 🤨 They were quick to get through, but I've thankfully already forgotten the heroine's name. So if you like surface level RH with nothing to write home about smut then this series is also another option that you can choose.
I waited to review this until I finished the series and I only have 3 words, Ares, Hades, Vulcan or AKA Ares, Soren and Ridge! They are true alpha hassholes! Emmy was such a strong FMC and I absolutely loved her first self. I experienced every emotion throughout reading this series and I highly recommend it. Its one of the best RH I've read! It was my first read by this author and I can confidently say it won't be my last!

So much happened in this book! The push and pull between Matello, and the fmc was intense. I loved the dif POV’s, it really opened up each of the characters. I loved and hated her men, but each of their flaws is what makes them who they are. Which is exactly what the fmc needed. This book ended on the perfect high note for our fmc, and opened up a spin off. I can’t wait to read what’s next!
I don’t even know what to say. This series was everything I wanted and I struggled between reading as fast as I could or taking my time and dragging it out. I read books 1-3 in three days because I just needed to stay in this book universe. I was SO excited to see more of Lo, she is a fantastic character and I will be patiently waiting to see more of her (and her men, because let’s be honest she needs more than one) in the future
This series was great. I loved the dynamics and the characters. I loved the reality behind the relationships. I didn't always love the things that happened and the choices made, but it all works itself out in a way I am content with. Good read especially for a newbie author.
Well what can I say other than what the title suggests? I truly enjoyed each book in this series. The characters were/are real people with real problems. And while I personally would not want to endure the trials that Emmy did I would not mind being as badass as she was throughout her struggles.
Emmy keeps going on and on about how the boys keep things from her and then when the big villain that they're trying to find actually contacts her and threatens her Mom, she keeps it to herself and brushes it off... stopped wasting my time and dnf.
