This was silly. If all you need to have a good time is a campy Dom and some spankings, you'll be good. 👌🏻

If you need any sort of logic or plot or continuity or relationship development, this will certainly blow your mind. 🤡

✨NEWS FLASH✨, for those who haven't attended 9th grade health class yet:

*** No one knows they are pregnant 3 days after popping their cherry. And they ARE DEFINITELY NOT SHOWING 2 days after that***

😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑

PSSST… (whispers) Hey Hero! : 👀 Sir. 👀 If your “virginal” wife is pregnant and showing a week after you married her, 👀 something scandalous is probably afoot. 👀 But, you do you, boo. 🤷🏼‍♀️😈

😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬

Bottom Line? I feel dumber after having read this. But I finished. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I will not be back. ✌🏻 ⭐️⭐️

⚠️SAFETY SQUAD SPOILERS⚠️

- no cheating or sharing

- the day after their first time, they have sex in right next to a man he's about to execute. 🙄

- dubcon

- BDSM lite - restraints, flogging, belting, spankings, edging, etc

- No OM/OW drama

- no condoms - H is intending to get h pregnant

- h is virgin

- H is not a virgin but has been in prison before he's with the h, so has had a period of forced celibacy

I need to take a break from dark mafia for awhile. This one was depraved and depressing at the same time. It was a decent story but there are no lovely or swoony moments, it’s all dark. It might be a preference thing but I just can’t understand how a woman, forced into a marriage and then beaten into submission can then fall in love with her husband. It reads like Stockholm syndrome. But like I said, this is a preference thing. This book seemed very realistic and didn’t try to rationalize the violence and murder that the hero inflicts upon the world. It accepts it as reality and the hero is very complex. He is an enforcer but doesn’t really want to be, but does it for la familia. It’s the heroine’s motivations I don’t understand, her HEA is dubious in this one as she gets her man but has to give up her freedoms, privacy and even autonomy over her own body. Yet the book captivated me enough that I want to read Elise’s story now, which seems like it might be even more depraved. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Possessive mafia H/ smart strong kind h/quick

This was a first from the author for me and I enjoyed it. This is a 3 and not a 4 because some parts after half of the book just felt… clunky.. like time would pass but it wasn’t made clear it just seemed to be a quick way to jump to
Major moments in the storyline and I didn’t like that.

The things:
-I realllyyyy enjoyed Orlando. He’s fresh outta jail, he’s an enforcer for his Italian mafia family.
-A blind arranged marriage
-identity swap…?? Basically our h looks similar to her bestie whose the mafia princess whose being married off, she takes her place thinking she will be able to get away before she’s forced to actually marry the guy, or before anyone realizes she isn’t the “mafia princess”
-POSSESIVE H… Orlando doesn’t let anyone near his wife. I loveeddd it. One of the guards goes to help her out of the car and he threatens to cut his hands off and gets him relocated to Italy immediately… LOVVEEEEE 🥰
-SPANKING!! Y’all know i loveeee a good spanking and this one def had it. I loved that he wasn’t dealing with her bratty mouth. He was dominate but not in a BDSM way to me. I loveddd it.
-Breeding kinda… it’s basically a must do for Orlando. His brother hasn’t been able to have any yet and as Orlando is next to be married it’s expected and he gets right to that. No condom, no BC
-V card h.
-the main storyline is kinda lackluster but I think it’s bc you can see where other storylines maybe happening or beginning within this one so that maybe why. It was good though. I was full of angst when she was torn with telling Orlando the truth of who she was and when she HAD too bc his family found out.
-I am def intrigued to see if Travi is an asshole to Elise in their story. And I wanna read Santos bc he’s like dark AF it seems lol. I am probably gonna go and read Romeo’s too lol 😂. Yep gonna try the other books for sure

Over all I really enjoyed this. Just struggled with some of the timing. Like weeks Jump before we see her claim she’s preg but it looks like days bc it’s literally written in a sentence that it’s been a few weeks so you’d miss it and it’s confusing. Then we skip months, and then epilogue. Maybe put “9 months later” “4 weeks later” or just write it in better so it’s more clear for the timing of the book. For me the writing literally can break a book for me bc I just can’t read when it’s so dang disconnected my brain doesn’t wanna even try lol. This wasn’t that just slightly not clearly on certain things. Will read another.

'Oath of Obedience' is the second book in Jane Henry's "Deviant Doms" series. I'm still behind in my reading list but, knowing and enjoying Ms. Henry's writing style as I do, I couldn't miss reading this one before going onto the next. This time we get to meet Orlando Rossi who has been in prison for the last six months for manslaughter. His brother Romeo, who is the head of the family, got him released early. Seems there have been numerous problems since Orlando, the Family's Enforcer has been gone. A rival mafia family has betrayed them, three cousins dead and one in the hospital, and the only way to solidify the family to make it stronger is for Orlando to marry their rival's only daughter Elise and have a child. Elise is in Tuscany and is in love with her bodyguard. Angelina, her best friend, immediately suggested trading places with her. In Angelina's mind, that's the least she could do for her friend since she'd saved her life. Jane Henry has another five-star hit as far as I'm concerned and highly recommend it.

This is the second book about the Boston-based mafia Rossi family and their women. While it's a standalone in terms of the couple, characters from the first book do appear.

The MC here is more believable than the first book's was: Angelina is less of a doormat and Orlando actually does one or two things to earn her submission rather than endlessly reiterating "you must obey me." The pace was also much tighter, and the conflict organic and high-stakes since it put Orlando in the position of choosing between competing loyalties.

That said, like many of this author's books, it's filled with plot holes and editing issues: Elise is either the youngest daughter or an only child; we never find out just exactly how . Finally, the conversation that Angelina and Orlando have regarding his place in the family was the most interesting part of the book, but it was just dropped.

As the author did with the first, she uses Shakespeare quotes at the beginning of each chapter for no reason I can fathom. Other than Angelina's ship plane crash, mistaken identity, and MMC's names who begin with "O," there are few connections between this book and Twelfth Night -- which, Ms. Henry would be surprised to learn, is about gender-bending.

3 stars. This will pass the time, if nothing more. It's very clear which brother will get the next book given the teaser at the end. Personally, I think it'll be impossible to depict a believable love story given that thus far it comes across as either ; either option is deeply unpleasant. "Blow Out Breath" tracker: 14.

Oath of Obedience is Orlando and Angelina’s story! I didn’t care for the first book (Oath of Silence - Romeo and Vittoria’s story) but this one redeemed the series!

First, in my review of Oath of Silence, I had several lingering plot hole questions that were answered in this book. This book begins with Orlando in prison, but being released early with the help of his brother, Romeo who is the new Don of their family. Romeo informs Orlando that he is to enter into an arranged marriage with the daughter of another mafia family who has crossed Romeo’s family. Orlando marries the daughter…or so we think.

Orlando and Angelina’s story had soooo much more depth than Romeo and Tori’s. I actually believed in their romance and saw how they began to fell in love with each other. It was MUCH steamier than the first book, which I enjoyed. Also, we got to see more of the Rossi world and dealings (the first book took place almost entirely within the Castle, the Rossi home), which I appreciated. Angelina was a strong woman who fit in just fine with Orlando’s family. Orlando, the family enforcer, was actually a gentle and sensitive soul at heart.

I would’ve liked to see more of what happened for them later. Orlando mentioned wanting to do something other than be an enforcer but nothing really came of that discussion. I thought him and Romeo were going to have a conversation but we didn’t see that on page.

I’m hoping Tavi’s story is next!

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC of this book!

In this second story about the Rossi family, we have Orlando being released from jail early and told he's to marry the daughter, a mafia princess, of a rival family as a debt owed. Elise is the mafia princess but her body guard, who told her of her impending marriage is the man Elise loves. Angelina, Elise's friend feels she owes Elise a debt of gratitude and they cook up a story that puts Angelina in place of Elise to marry the Rossi groom. What follows is lies, danger, punishments and unexpectedly, love. I loved the Rossi family, the men are tough but loyal and the women are strong yet loving partners to their big, strong mafia men.
I am looking forward to the next Deviant Doms story which I hope is about Elise and Tavi.

Yes! We have Orlando and Elise/Angelina’s story and it’s filled with all sorts of drama and subterfuge. But at the same time, we have the level of romance we’ve come to expect from a Jane Henry story. And since this is the start of this series, we get to visit with old friends and enjoy the antics of the Rossi brothers around food. Heh. And the wonderfulness of the Rossi women who are as alike (in their loyalty and love) as they are different (personalities). While each of these stories function as a standalone, to truly appreciate all the Rossi brothers, definitely start with book 1. So what are you waiting for? Go. Go one-click.

better then the first…I guess

Characters much better plot got actually resolved. I am confused though because Vittoria and Romeo were pregnant at the end of the first book and they state they can’t get pregnant.

Then men are over the top a tad…oh well

Marriage of convenience is an odd way to explain this story. Orlando and Elise have been forced into a marriage that neither want. But more to the point, Elise NEVER wanted. We met Elise in the first book- Book of Silence- when her friend takes her place to marry. But of course, Elise is found and forced back home.

Orlando is the one that forced Elise home to marry him. He has done some horrible things to get her butt back home. So this book has a lot of ups and downs between the two, but god, it is such a great story.

When they are together, these two are such hardheaded characters; I freaking loved it!

MY POSSESSION—MY REWARD—MY WIFE

The second story in this series, Deviant Doms, had this reader engrossed in the tale and kept the pages turning as the story unfolds. It is a mixture of family, loyalty, secrets, lies, betrayal, mystery, suspense, life and death, danger, and an action romance.

The Rossi family is now under a new Don, Romeo, and their enforcer, Orlando, has been in prison, but now he is released—and it will be his responsibility to marry immediately and start a family. The Rossi’s have been done wrong, a price must be paid, and Luigi Regazza has agreed to send his daughter, Elise, as payment.

The story’s plot will have Elise Regazza and her best friend, Angelina, in Tuscany when Elise’s bodyguard, Piero, informs her she will be flying back to Boston immediately. She finally gets him to tell her why—and then Angelina helps come up with a new plan. So, for now, Angelina will pretend to be Elise.

Piero: Your father made arrangements for marriage. You are supposed to marry one of the Rossi men. I don’t know who. I knew them, but I don’t know who you’re marrying, all I know is that it isn’t Romeo because he got married last year.
Angelina: The man taking her home, the pilot, does he know why? So if I go in her stead, they’ll never know, will they?
Elise: Oh no. No way. I can’t let you do that, I won’t.
Angelina: Do what? I’m not actually marrying anyone. I’ll create a diversion only, then once you’re gone, I’ll escape.

The naivete of Angelina’s plan won’t take long to disintegrate entirely, and she finds herself at the mercy of the Rossi family, especially Orlando. A marriage is arranged and performed, a new bride is punished, and the enforcer shows her quickly who is in control, and it isn’t her.

“Rings, vows, marriage. Babies. Obedience. In that order.”

Orlando: Did you pay any attention to those vows you took downstairs?
Elise: You thought those meant something? Vows are for people who choose to be married.
Orlando: You vowed to honor and obey.
Elsie: I did. Did you really expect me to mean those words?
Orlando: That love part? That’s neither here nor there. I’m sure you know your own parents got married for something else. That part about honoring and obeying, though? Those I intend to enforce.
Elise: Enforce, obey. All these words as if you own me.

“You’re my wife now. That means I put your safety above all others. I will punish you if you deserve it. I will dominate you because I like it. But I will never let you get hurt.”

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of mafia life. And no good deed goes unpunished. Angelina thinks she can escape the Rossi family and free Elise from an arranged marriage. Even Rossi men are banished for even attempting something simple, like helping Elise out of a vehicle. The Rossi men are controlling, demanding, and loyal. The one thing that neither Orlando nor Angelina expected was to develop feelings. But what happens when she is found out—that they know that she isn’t Elise? Will she be safe, or has she jumped from the frying pan into the fire?

“I wonder if Rossi men are deeply rooted in another place and time, where men were heads of the house and women were meant to be cared for.”

“Just be yourself. Don’t try to be someone you’re not.”

The story will have many moments of danger and suspense. Orlando is a dominant man and isn’t afraid to show his bride that he isn’t afraid to discipline her, and things will be done his way. Even when the truth is revealed, he is torn between his feelings for her and his loyalty to his family. As a stern taskmaster, he shows her his displeasure without abuse, he is her warden, but he is also her husband. When trouble comes to The Castle, he is protective but does allow some freedom during a meeting—and his wife proves herself a faithful Rossi family member. While the story does have a conclusion, it also gives the reader insight into the next book. Find out what happens to the real Elise Regazza.

“Our story. Our chapter. Let’s make it a good one.”

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one! So much emotions! I felt it all!

After previously reading two mafia romances with dark doms and discipline that I did NOT enjoy, FINALLY, I got one that actually delivers a great story and great characters! I absolutely loved this book for so many reasons!

The H, Orlando (Lando) doesn't discipline without reason. He also takes the time to explain why her absolute obedience is necessary. He explain what is expected of her and why. And when he does discipline, he follows with caring. He always treats her with tenderness and affection. Although he does like to dominate, he also cherishes her. It's so obvious he truly cares about her even way before he says the words. And when the ultimate lie is revealed, even though he is angry, he still stands up for her, protects her.

The h, Angelina (a/k/a "Elise") has been pretty much self sufficient since she lost her mother at a very young age. She has a father who has neglected her. She's been on her own since high school. She knows little about the mafia life except what she's learned from her best friend, a mafia princess, who she grew up with. She is strong and loyal to a fault. Her emotions are in turmoil ... She is torn between the independance she's been use to and this feeling of having someone care about her, who will protect her and keep her safe. She's trying to find her place, while worrying about the safety of her best friend and knowing the secret she keeps could bring it all tumbling down.

I loved Orlando and Angelina; I loved all the secondary characters..the Rossi famiglia and the story itself. It's an arranged marriage, but NOT in the typical way, this one is definitely unique and adds a little angst to the story.

And most of all, for me, I loved the emotions in this book! You felt what the characters felt, both him and her and there were times it was VERY emotional! THAT, feeling all those intense emotions in the story, is what takes this from a 4-4.5 to a 5 star for me. If I could give more I would. This one definitely goes on my re-read list and I will definitely be reading more of Jane Henry starting with the other books in this series.

2.5 Just okay - not impressed. The storyline was different but the outcome was the same. I do enjoy this genre but am tired of reading a storyline that should be considered "a period piece" instead of taking place in 2022.

I thought Orlando's story would be a step up from Romeo's story, but it wasn't. This family is very old fashion with their stories steeped in outdated antiquated rituals that haven't existed in generations of crime families. I understand that this is a fiction piece but I do expect authors to have some reality based themes in their novels; this one did not. I was waiting for the head of a dead horse to appear in Angelina's and Orlando's bed (circa The Godfather).

The Rossi men view women as nothing more than possessions that were acquired for revenge, leverage, alliances and, or breeding. The women were there to meet their needs and their needs only and you had better have a smile on your face or chronic "punishment's" would come your way. This fact was over emphasized throughout the novel. The sexual kink was overdone (how many spankings, chains, floggers etc., can you put in one story?); and lastly Angelina's character became another victim of the "arranged marriage" scenario. She starts off as a fighter and a crusader for her friend Elise. I loved her banter and her strength early in the novel only to watch her lose all of her depth of character to become the perfect lap dog for another oversexed anti-hero. It's a relief when one of these female characters in these books actually makes their mark on the story vs., just becoming another obedient Mafia/Stepford wife.

There are some authors that are embracing the women in these stories instead of just reducing their characters to idiots so that the "men" don't have to actually share the storyline with them. I will continue to look and follow those authors.

Tavi's last "arranged marriage" victim killed herself instead of marrying him. Arranged marriages don't have a long shelf life, so it could be interesting. I doubt Elise will, but oh what a story that would be. Romeo and Orlando's stories were it for me in this series.

This is so frustrating!

There are such solid ideas here, but (like the first book in the series) the pacing is all off.

This one focuses on Orlando Rossi and Angelina. Elise Regazzi is supposed to be the one on a plane to marry Orlando, but she only has interest in her bodyguard. Angelina, being the friend that she is, offers to go in Elise’s place, giving Elise and her beau a chance to disappear. But she was never supposed to actually marry Orlando. It was arranged for Angelina to disappear en route. Yet something didn’t go as planned.

Solid ideas, execution and pacing needs work!

terrific Mafia with spanking

There is not a lot of BDSM in the story, but it is there. Also there is action aplenty as well as lots of 🔥 🔥 🔥 all of which I greatly enjoyed. The characters are really excellent and there is a lot of chemistry ⚛️. This is the second in this series and I am going to read the next one right away. I loved this and you will love it too I am sure. Note: you really need to read the first book.

More Deviant Doms Greatness! Fantastic Story & Listen🎧

Oath of Obedience
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
Series: Deviant Doms

Jane Henry pens another amazing novel set in her “Deviant Dom” series, I am loving this series and the mafia world she created. This book features another member of the Rossi family, Orlando, the first book, “Oath of Silence” featured his brother Romeo, who is now the head of the Rossi family. After power struggles with other mafia families and trouble within their own family, the Rossi family had suffered some losses and needs to build up strength and manpower. Orlando, the family enforcer, was just released from prison, and a deal was made for him to marry a daughter from another mafia family. Born in a mafia family, Elise Regazza, should have known her life would not be her own, she was expected to save herself for the man her father chose for her, she was not expecting it to happen so soon and with no notice. She also did not expect to fall in love with her bodyguard, but when her friend Angelina comes up with a plan that could set her free she goes for it, except there is a hitch in their plan and Angelina finds herself in way over her head. I admired Angelina for her dedication to her friend, her strength and her backbone. Move over Romeo, Orlando became my new favorite Rossi, the enforcer has a heart and when he shows it, wow. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is another cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, both relationship and family, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. The quotes from the Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the start of each chapter were a great addition too.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue to do an amazing job of bringing these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that fits the character’s persona to a tee and sound believable in every role they play. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to, their narration enhances the story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Steam: 3.5/5. Strong Language: 3.5/5. Triggers: Violence, Assault, Murder, Torture, Imprisonment, BDSM

Book two of Deviant Doms tells Orlando's story. He's the family's Enforcer. On the day of his release from prison, he finds out that he is to be the groom at his arranged marriage that evening. He understands his obligations. Marry to strengthen the family, produce children, and always remain in control.

At the same time, Angelina is with her best friend Elise, A Mafia Princess. Elise has just been told she's marrying into the Rossi family to settle her father's debt. Elise saved Angelina's life once so she volunteers to go in her stead, escape, and give Elise time to get away with her bodyguard. Unfortunately, the Rossis are thorough. There is no chance for Angelina to get away. She ends up marrying Orlando that night and consummating their union. Something only a virgin bride can do according to archaic Mafia law. She must also produce children.

The two grow to care for each other but their union is built on feet of clay. It's just a matter of time before her game is up. The penalty for betrayal is death.

Orlando is totally alpha. My way or the highway. There is reasoning, her life is in danger as his wife. Angelina falls for him almost instantly. He provides security and a family she's yearned for.

5 ⭐ I loved it. I’ll revisit it like an old friend. This book is moving right into my favorites category. I would recommend it to everyone, even people that don’t ask. I’ll one click this author’s work in the future.
4 ⭐ A great read. I’ll probably reread again when feeling nostalgic. It was enjoyable, not portable magic. I would recommend it.
3 ⭐ I liked it. It was a nice way to pass the time. I doubt I’ll reread it. I’d recommend it to someone asking for a specific genre. Thanks for the memories.
2 ⭐ I completed the Herculean task of finishing this book. At times, it felt like I was Prometheus and the suffering would never end. It just wasn’t for me but I applaud the author for their effort.
1 ⭐ I couldn’t finish this book or I wish I hadn't finished. How do I put this? It’s not me, it’s you.

This is the second book in Jane Henry's "Deviant Doms" series and they just get better.
How could this be happening ? how could I be marrying a man that I have never met ? when he finds out what I have done he will kill me but hopefully Elise will have found happiness.
When Orlando Rossi, one of the high ranking Rossi mafia family, is sprung from prison by the Dom of the family, his brother Romeo, he is unsurprised by the fate that awaits him, that same night he was to enter into an arranged marriage with Elise Regazza, the daughter of a rival mafia Dom. Orlando knew that mafia men and women didn't marry for love they married for power, his brother Romeo was lucky, he loved Vittoria, his wife, if only Orlando could be so lucky.
When Elise heard of the plan she was distraught, she was in love with her bodyguard. Her best friend and soulmate, Angelina, couldn't let her friend face this so she came up with a plan, she would pretend to be Elise until Elise got safely away and then she would make her own escape.........trust no one.
This story follows the life of Angelina and Orlando as they start a fraught married life, his demanding her obedience, the fear Angelina has of being discovered and knowing the consequences would be her death, the all empowering love that springs between them, the consequences Orlando would face from his brothers if he didn't uphold the family honour.
I should despise these brothers, they are all killers, but I don't, in a strange way I admire them, they are all fiercely loyal, family is everything, they have a code of conduct, which although unconventional, they all live by.
I really enjoyed this book, I didn't want it to finish, it is full of passion, anger, revenge, death and man's protection of what is his, it gives a good insight into mafia life, I now look forward to the next book in the series.
I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

A stunning, wonderfully engaging read full of Mafia delights and family honour
Angelina had tried to help her friend from an unwanted marriage to one of the Rossi brothers and after Elise Regaazza saved her life, she believed it was the very least she could possibly do so had volunteered to pretend to be her. This would then allow Elise to escape from her fathers’ clutches with the bodyguard, the one man she loved and who felt the same and would give up his life to keep her safe.
Orlando was suspicious when he heard that the woman promised to him had tried to escape at the plane landing and now, she was still acting strangely and he decided that the wedding would be carried out instantly with only his brothers as witnesses.
Angelina had no choice she had to marry Orlando Rossi if she was going to continue for her friend as she continued to make her escape, she knew that the truth would soon catch up with her and whilst she stood for the punishment from her husband, she also realised that she was falling in love with him even though she knew once he discovered the truth it would be the end.
As the chicken comes home to roost and the truth of Angelina and Elise is finally discovered and her father comes to the family home with under handed motives in mind. I do not want to spoil the read so will say no more about the book except to ensure that you will enjoy every moment of the book and now looking forward to future books in the series.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Orlando and Angelina are scorching!! Angelina takes the place of her best friend, Elise, who is ordered by her father to marry a Rossi, but in love with her own bodyguard. Angelina just hopes to buy her friend enough time to disappear before she does the same. Unfortunately, she finds herself in a whirlwind of mafiya rules and her own compounding lies. She really thought she could escape without the actual commitment to someone she’d never met, but as plans go awry she becomes caught up in living a lie and falling in love with a man that can never be hers. He IS supposed to be married to Elise after all. Poor Orlando is just trying to fulfill a family duty by marrying the stranger placed in his care, but he believes she is Elise (the girl who is to tie two mafiya families together). Angelina and Elise’s deception will eventually come out. The couple is falling hopelessly in love and Angelina gets more tangled in her lies as time passes. Then the truth forces Orlando into the unsafe position of defying his pakhan by protecting what he believes is his, or to hand over the woman he loves to an uncertain demise. Things unfold quickly in the second stand-alone of this series and will have you gripping your kindle with white knuckles in anticipation. Because really…how could this ever work out? “She’s gonna die…she’s gonna die” kept hammering at my thoughts because there was no escaping her betrayal even if she had begun with good, even innocent, intentions. I kept flipping pages long past midnight (because I was so enthralled by their situation and the sweetness that you could see flickering between them in spite of their terrible circumstances) that I had to know how it ended. Ms. Henry hit another home run with this phenomenal book!!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "OATH OF OBEDIENCE". Jane Henry you did an outstanding job writing this Dark Twisted Mafia Romance so full of suspense, intrigue, angst, secrets, lies, betrayals, murder, loyalty, humor, sizzling hot steamy scenes, twists & turns such an addicting on the edge of your seat read.
Orlando Rossi just got out of prison only to be told he has to his duty to the Rossi Family his brother Don Romeo Rossi Sat's he has to marry Elise Regazza that same night it's a must for them they've lost to many men need this to gain more power.
Elise Regazza is with her BF Angelina & her bodyguard Piero when he tells her that her father wants her to return home she eventually gets the reason out of him Angelina say's she'll take her place she owes her for saving her life.
Orlando picks up Angelina/Elise at plane site where it went down things didn't go as planned she had to go through with the marriage it tells him the Vows she said she would do Honor, Obey fat chance she says she didn't agree to the marriage.
Orlando & Angelina have combustible chemistry I loved how these two were together she might be little but she was very feisty he liked that alot her comments to him were to funny always saying he likes control, will use any excuse to punish her, he always says you must Obey yada yada.
I definitely recommend to get this very interesting, entertaining, intense drama what will happen when secrets get revealed & the Rossi's find out who Angelina really is will her & Orlando get their HEA or will she lose her life for her betrayal.
You must get this book so well worth the read I love this series "DEVIANT DOM'S" I can't for the next book the characters were well developed & pulled you right into all CHAOS. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!!!!

Absolutely recommended!!

This is a story of protection of one's best friend in Angelina's perspective, right or wrong it t is what is seems!! A young woman who is yet to come into her own when it comes to the marriage she/Elise (the best friend) she is forced into. So she takes her friends name and boarded the plane with plans to fake her death and escape a marriage of someone she doesn't know, not even his name!! Well obviously that didn't work out quite to plan!!
Enters the hulking behemoth aka her new husband!! He's intimidating, commanding, demanding and above all else a dominating man, freshly released from prison!!
Just as the highs start, so do the lies. Problem is, after the first lie you usually tend to have to lie again to try and keep things unsuspecting!! Before long the marriage on Elise's/Angelina's side of things, is steeped in lies so deep and she's only digging her own grave all the more, until they've finally get to the point where love is possible, right until the balloon pops and the floor gives way, to show just how twisted the cobwebs of lies have got!!
Ok so I've given you a good idea of what the outline is, but for the thorough reading you need to buy the book and I promise you that you really won't regret it!!
This is the second book I've ever read of Jane Henry's and so far I think that she's a fantastic author and can't wait to read all her others. Both the first and now this book are absolutely worth buying and keeping, just so you've always got them for a rainy day and you're bores, these books will absolutely help brighten up any day 😉😉
