Lemony Snicket meets The Crypt Keeper. The intriguing, all-knowing, mysterious narrator ties together these tales in a nostalgic and yet unique way.
Blackwood has been a favorite go-to every Halloween season for me for many years. And yet, these children's stories were new to me. The way the author rewrote these stories made them much easier to read and more relatable for today's kids. The artwork added the perfect extra touch.
I highly recommend this collection for your middle graders for the Halloween season.
So right off bat I got hooked. I read this to see how my nieces would be with it. I met the other before I got my nieces her other books and they loved them. I know they are going to love this book. Such a great book and every story in the book was remarkably written.
Ok so, this book was very addicting at first but then they started to not even make sense, I am gonna continue to read A.M Luzzaders books because they are addicting and fun to read.
