Each short, encouraging entry is relatable and offers simple suggestions to propel one forward. Topics include acts of creativity, daring, generosity, healing, integrity, and joy. Includes honest meditations and simple, helpful prayers. It's a great little motivational reference book for when you're feeling a little out of sorts and you may not even know why.

This may be the right time to revisit this little book; we are all "stuck" in some way during this pandemic. A friend, who is now unemployed, lamented that she wasn't being productive with the unexpected "free" time but that she was adding to a "what I am grateful for" list daily. I told her that the list was better than productivity.

Hampton Wright offers these thoughts: "But when you make a list, when you take what's on your mind and put it out where you can see it, handle it, and do with it as you please, you regain some control over a mind gone berserk with clutter and worry. The key is to never allow the list to be the boss. I no longer expect to tick off everything on a list. It's a mere tool, something to help me keep my place, to keep track of life's details."
