Hope Callaghan 's " Garden Girls Cozey Mystery " series is a joy to read, it's so well written and it's many characters are such an array of vibrant personalities bringing an amazing group of women together in a long time friendship with a strong chistian life style. With ups and downs of daily challenges as well as intriguing mysterys keeping their small town residence on the lookout for each other in making sure that mayhem is kept to the minimum. Could have been a winner

So sad when people, especially authors, try to force their religious beliefs on other. These stories would, to me, have been far better without all the prayers, bible verses and references to "god's work". The stories would have been far more powerful by acknowledging that the results came about due to good people and human kindness. I only made it through most of the first story. Gag me.

A Great Fun Bundle of Fantastic Series!!!

This box set consists of the first 10 books in the Garden Girls Cozy Mystery Series. If you like cozy mystery in a small town setting with a group of sixties something amateur sleuths who care and help each other and community you will love this wonderful series.

Gloria Rutherford is a senior lady, recently widowed living in Belhaven, Michigan and looking for new purpose in life. Gloria and her Garden Girls friends are kindhearted senior group with different background and behavior who meet regularly for coffee and make the list of people in community that need help and support whom they will stop by to give produce from their own gardens or give help. Gloria has a life changing experience when there is a dead body by the school, she suddenly finds herself curious about the murder and excitingly investigate to find the killer with help from her friends, she finds that she has a knack of finding out clues to help police unveil the murderer.

This is a wonderful, heart-warming, laugh out loud, fast-paced, entertaining, page turning, very hard to put down cozy mystery with good and unique story line, very well written. Each book has different adventure, it's full of mystery, excitement, friendship, twist and turn, good humor and romance with delightful characters. It's very entertaining and enjoyable. I really liked the characters in the book, their friendship, their caring for each other and community.

Hope Callaghan is my number one favorite author, Hope writes cozy mystery that is fun to read and also uplifting the spirit and inspire the good in people. Her Millie's Cruise Ship Mysteries, Made in Savannah Mystery Series and Divine Mystery Series are also my favorites.

I highly recommend this series and other series by Hope Callaghan, if you are cozy mystery fans who love good story, adventure, mystery, and romance do not miss them, they are MUST READ!!!

This Michigan retiree can relate to senior sleuth Gloria Rutherford-Kennedy, who enjoys the four seasons and fall hayrides, discussing deer hunting and celebrating a Midwest Thanksgiving. The well written, well edited page turning cozy mysteries box set is a bargain. Gloria and her Garden Girls are delightful well rounded unique individuals. Recipes include are: Layered Cheese Cake Pumpkin Pies (Book 7), Monster Cookies (#8), and Margaret's Magnificent Meatloaf & Easy Cheesy Hash Casserole (#9). I have read the entire series. Hope Callaghan does not disappoint.

Just Right Christian Fiction

I want to belong to the Garden Girls club. Lol! Hope puts just the right amount of different aspects in her stories. They have mystery, romance, humor, and most importantly, God’s Word and God’s personal touch in the life of each character. Her books are fun to read, and have a way of lifting me up. There is very little “unbelievable” events. Hopes writing is done so well that I feel like I’m right there in the story.

Absolutely Love!!

This has been the best series! It is perfection, it was like Murder She Wrote but instead of a writer, we had Gloria, with her farm and flowers, sleuthing around with her Garden Girl's club. They all ended up into a scrape of some sort and the girls had to band together to solve the case! The ending was so sweet and I cannot wait to continue reading the series! Very heartwarming read.

Clean And Fun to Read Christian Novels

I thoroughly enjoyed this set of mysteries. Lots of action, the characters are for the most part retired with grown kids and grandkids. The setting is small town rural Michigan where everyone knows everyone and each character becomes familiar and interesting as the stories progress. Well written and keeps you thinking, I hated to finish book10.

If you can get past all the food and the praying, these lightweight and lighthearted little mysteries are fun to read. It's not Patricia Fisher, but Gloria and her 60-something friends (whom the writer calls "girls") have some interesting adventures. Lots of family stuff, and the writing gets better as the author progresses.

Gloria, Ruth, Dot, Margaret, Lucy and Andrea are women who live in a small town in Michigan. Gloria has a penchant for sticking her nose in murder investigations and dragging the rest of her friends , “ The Garden Girls” into them. Of course, Gloria’s boyfriend who happens to be a real police detective, doesn’t like her doing her own investigations, as she always seems to get herself in a “pickle”! You’ll love all of the characters and the action. It’s a great read!

Nancy Drew grown up!
