I knew, someday, I’d have the life of my dreams.
I just wasn’t prepared to lose him in return.

Growing up in small-town Mason Creek, it's hard for a girl to dream big. Since my mom was barely making ends meet, I knew moving away for college wasn’t in the cards. What I didn’t know was how singing a Miranda Lambert song while unpacking a box would change my life forever ... an

I've read a few book by Lauren Runow and have liked all of them. And I really liked Hannah and Mathew. This story is really believable. They were high school sweethearts until they weren't. Now 5 years have passed and a lot has happened since they saw each other. She is on the verge of becoming the next big thing in country music while he's building a reputation as a great coach.
My heart broken for Hannah and the reason why she had to come home. I can't even imagine how I'd go through that. And

We are back in Mason Creek, and this author is growing on me. I discovered her from this series and have now read several of her books outside the series. I love her characters, and her books are anything but cookie cutter. Her stories embrace your heart and do not let go.

Matthew and Hannah are the perfect young couple in love, but both have dreams. His is baseball, and hers is discovered in the book's pages. As they separate, time brings them back together. Will they get their second c

It's always a great day when I get to visit Mason Creek again as I LOVE it there, and Lauren Runow really gave me a fantastic trip with this second chance romance. Hannah & Matthew were high school sweethearts who had planned a future together after high school but things turned on a dime. Hannah was given an opportunity to chase her dreams so she broke up with him, and it was five years before they came face to face again. She was called home because of things happening with her mother, so she ...more

Hannah fell in love with Matthew when she was a teenager and thought nothing could tear them apart until their dreams for the future led them in different directions. Years later a family situation has her returning to her hometown and reuniting with the man who has always owned her heart.

The love that Matthew had for Hannah was selfless so as much as it hurt he wasn’t about to stand in the way of the future she wanted. When they find themselves in the same place at the same time will this be th

I was so excited to read this book that I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Lauren Runow is the one to blame for my eagerness because her writing is so freaking good.
She has given me some of my favorite books, books that made me laugh, cry, shake and blush...
If you know her writing, you know what to expect.
Perfect Someday is her latest release and it's the 28th book from the Mason Creek series.
This series is amazing, written by several authors with stories that will melt your heart.

Having read Ms.Runow’s work many times before, including Perfect Song i was so happy when i found out about this book! With every teaser, it had me looking forward to it more and more. I picked it up and got right back into the Mason Creek world! I so enjoyed this story!

Hannah and Matthew’s journey captured my attention quickly. Sometimes dreams can lead us to places we never thought, something Hannah and Matthew know all too well. These two were once upon a time each other’s everything. As they

A second change romance that is heartfelt and heartbreaking all bundled together into a beautifully written story. In a way I can see this as a spin off of Perfect Song since Matthew is Tucker’s son but simply enjoyable as a standalone too. Hannah and Matthew are both chasing their own dreams individually with the love they share for one another and it’s absolutely inspiring to witness all they go through. A connection easily develops with everyone in this story as a reader, you become glued to ...more

Let's start with what I loved. Hannah's journey with her mom. While it was heartbreaking, it was powerful and nothing but truth. I've went through something similar on a smaller scale and Runow describes it perfectly. This part of the story is what had me invested throughout.

Now for Hannah herself. She came off extremely selfish to me. Maybe it's my personal biases, but I couldn't forgive her for leaving Matthew. Which then made me annoyed with Matthew for letting her back in after she

Touching and Beautiful Story

This was my first book by Lauren, and I am completely in aww with the way she was able to bring her characters to life in this small town, second chance romance.

Hannah and Matthew are both such amazing characters, and their story is so beautiful and touching, and I definitely shed some tears. They both have these big dreams and wants for their individual futures, and Hannah’s dreams end up taking her away not only from her small town and everything she knows, but fro

Once again, Lauren Runow has done it again with this book! I love having characters from previous books of hers as part of her new books as well. I get more of my faves that way!

Perfect Someday is a heartfelt second chance romance. This is a story about a love that neither distance nor time could destroy. The story follows Matthew and Hannah, high school sweethearts who go their separate ways after high school to follow their dreams, although dreams don't usually work out as you'd expect.
I liked both characters and I kept rooting for them throughout the story. The story was filled with friends and family and will take you on a bit of an emotional roller-coaster ride.

This is the first book I have read by this author and don't think it'll be my last one. It's also part of the Mason Creek series which is also one of the first books I've read and made me curious to the other characters. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Hannah & Matthew but it also touched on some issues that are very relevant in people's lives. A great read and I really do love small town romances!

Perfect Someday (Mason Creek Book 28) by Lauren Runow is a cute story about Matthew and Hannah. They are high school sweethearts that at the end of senior year end up going there separate ways. Matthew was going to college to play baseball and Hannah didn't quite know what she wanted to do with her life. She knew she couldn't afford college eventhough Matthew wanted her to come with him. However one day while singing a song she finds her passion. Deciding to pursue her dreams she starts a band a ...more

PERFECT SOMEDAY (Mason Creek) by Lauren Runow is a romance with a bit of a break-up & maybe second-chances. Mason Creek series is made up of anthologies of a bunch of standalone books by different authors with having ties to small-town Mason Creek.

Hannah and Matthew have a history of growing up together in Mason Creek and being friends until they were more. Their amazing chemistry together with their deep friendship made them feel they were made to be together. Someday when the time is right. We are back in Mason Creek with a new couple. Matthew is ready to pursue his dream as a baseball player as he takes off to college. Hannah isn’t sure what she wants from her life until she gets noticed by her boyfriend’s stepmom while singing to a song playing. Then everything starts to fall into place. Her voice is angelic, and she did not realize how much fun it is to sing in front of a crowd. I loved going back to these characters and this town! If you don't recall, Matthew Simms is Tucker's son from Perfect Song. This is his and Hannah's story.
