I'm an indie author that writes steamy romance novels about rock stars.

I live in Western Australia with my husband and two sons. Physically. Mentally, I live in a world of rock stars and romance where everyone is crazy hot and rich as heck.

My dad used to tell me that I lived in a fantasy world...now I get to share that world with other people. I hope that you enjoy entering the worlds I create and love my characters even half as much as I do.

This compilation is NOT your usual romance anthology...it's so much more! The authors of Rockstar's Ball have combined their many talents to give their lucky readers a total 'experience' that is magical, twisty and most of all, filled with pure enjoyment.  This is your own personal invitation to an unforgettable night with all the hottest bands at this year's Rockstars Ball!  You may be catching up with characters you already know or meeting new ones but either way, this anthology was creative, addictive, exciting and hot as hell!  For all those rockstar romance lovers out there, put this one on your must read list for 2021! I highly recommend it.

I have reviewed 2 stories here. Please read them both below.

♡ Wild Side by Sasha Marshall

You might know Sasha Marshall for the unforgettable rockers from her Guitar Face series, but she's introducing a new band here- the super sexy Garrick Brothers. Pierce Garrick couldn't have been more intense and focused in his pursuit of the stunning woman that captured his attention tonight. Off the charts chemistry??  Pierce and Farrah Phillips have all that plus a heated attraction that might melt your heart and leave you drooling all over your kindle. Pierce is one sexy, romantic man so between his smoldering looks and their playful night of discovery and passion, Wild Side provides all the sizzling, surprising excitement that you could possibly want in a rockstar romance.

This story packed a lot to love into just a few chapters and ends with a cliffie, but never fear. More of Farrah and Pierce's romance will be coming in 2022 and all I have say is, the wait will be definitely worth it!!

♡ Helpless by Kaylene Winter

Have you read Kaylene Winter's fantastic Less Than Zero series yet?  Helpless is a other peek into her exciting LTZ world that you won't want to miss.  Fan favorite characters from book 1, Endless- front man Tyson Rainier and his smart as a whip fiancee, Zoey Pearson are the main focus of the story this time.

The band's been on a self imposed hiatus, with each couple doing their own thing since the last tour ended. Ty and Zoey have been seeing the world while being blissfully tucked into their own private bubble after all they've been through. Tonight, the spotlight will be on them and their new foundation that supports musically gifted, at risk kids.  Most of the LTZ guys, ladies and a couple of surprise guests will be in attendance too, so who knows what might happen???

It's all here in Helpless- comradary, humor, touching moments and a few twists surround these characters we love most while the Rockstar's Ball rolls on. Kaylene Winter's writing is on point once again, pulled me right in and impresses me more with each new story she tells. What's in store for this band family next? Well, you'll have to stay tuned to find out all that's coming your way in the Less Than Zero world.

A great selection of stories from some fabulous rockstar authors.

All centred around the annual rockstars Ball. The bands are all there to compete for awards and perform. They all interact with each other as the stories unfold.

I love this concept and even found some new to me authors to read.

A great read.... highly recommended

Choosing you choosing me has us catching up with Cleo and Ethan.
Where throwing in the towel was going to be their future. Both sad but resigned to it. The night’s disastrous event has them running in the street looking for each other. Loved this story, short, sweet but powerful.
In Rocking the Band we catch up with The Flying Monkeys. Xavier, Jax, Devon, Chase and Trent who are desperately looking for their manager Sydney, she’s their girl and she’s MIA. I’m not into reverse harem but there’s something about this group that’s hot, really good story.
Punk Rock Reflection finds Tommy, Angel and Jessi as in love as ever. I love this couple and now they’re older, they have children so they’re less spontaneous, but still rocking it. Sometimes a little tragedy can open your eyes so you can see what’s important.
Helpless hooks us up with our favorite couple from Endless, Ty and Zoey. Still in love, together and engaged.
Candy Bar Mandy is about Easy’s mom Amanda Yarrow. Easy is in the band Smidge, his dad Zam is in a famous band also and will be receiving a lifetime achievement award and a HEA.
Keeping up the tempo is cool as we follow Lyrical Odyssey. This story was awesome.
Hayden’s Dirty Weekend was really good and it’s always a pleasure to read about the Cruise Control guys. Siân never disappoints and thank god I read The Stalker and know about Hayden will get what he wants.
Wildside Sasha you are killing me! Loved Pierce and Farrah, but he’s going to pay for his actions and I can’t wait.
I loved every single story and I’m giving this book five stars and highly recommending it.

I'd never heard of many of these authors before, but I do enjoy a good rockstar romance.

This anthology, centered around an awards show, has a reverse harem, good characters and plot, threesome and tensions, which are running high. Will personal problems, troubled events, and a life-altering situations disrupt their lives? Will marriages and relationships be able to endure the ultimate test?

I was generally interested by the stories in this anthology. There were a few characters and stories I struggled to relate to, but overall, one dnf.

Centering around the shared fictional Rockstars’ Ball in Atlanta, the stories in this anthology all add to existing series for each of their authors. I’m a bit of a stickler for reading series in order, so since most of the authors included are new to me, I skimmed all but one: Kella Campbell’s entry “Candy Bar Mandy.”

I read and loved both of Kella’s previous books about the world famous band Smidge when they were released, so I was very excited to read this short story about Smidge bassist Easy’s mother, the legendary former groupie Amanda Yarrow and Keith Zammaron, front man for the iconic rock band The Bad Luck Opals. There are a few small spoilers for the series if you read this out of order, but I think most wouldn’t have a problem reading this as a standalone.

This was a great story for me. I especially enjoyed the flashback to their first meeting, 17-year-old Mandy’s first up close look at the young, handsome rockstar Zam and their instant connection. I love a short story, and this one was a wonderful taste of a world I’m a big fan of. My only complaint? I selfishly wish it was longer. In any case, I was very happy to see Mandy and Zam get their HEA, and I hope to be seeing glimpses of them in future books in the series.

This was a great book altogether. Lots of different authors writing different stories about their characters, but each and every story was also about the rockstar ball. I love how each author (story) talked about their characters at the ball, what they were doing, how they felt afterwards. I wish more anthologies were this well written. Fantastic group of authors !!

I went into this blind. Of the amazing authors in the anthology, Kenna Shaw Reed was the only one I'd read before.
I was worried I would need to have read the other series to get the couple dynamics. But I didn't. Which is fantastic. This anthology is a great way to introduce readers to a plethora of new authors to stalk on social media, devour their works and look forward to new.

In Choosing You, Choosing Me by Tyler Paige, we meet or re-meet Cleo and Ethan. To say things are rocky is an understatement. It's told in dual first person pov. You really root for Cleo while sympathising with Ethan. Cleo is determined and strong. Ethan is wounded and defensive. And, really, don't those alternate personalities make for excellent reading?

In Rocking the Band by Kenna Shaw Reed, catch up with the cast of characters from her Loving the Band why choose, or reverse harem, series. Public appearances when you're a one woman, multiple men entourage is tough. Especially when you're not out yet. Sydney and Xavier seem emotionally at odds with their arrangement. I'd have to read the series to get the dynamics though. But the way they dropped everything when they thought they lost Sydney, warms the cockles of my heart. Seeing Sydney's reactions to her other men flirting with other women was interesting. It's a different kind of RH, but then Kenna seems to turn the genre on its side, and very well.

Punk Rock Reflection by Jenna Galicki caught my attention. I loved that Tommy, Jessi and Angel were a throuple. It's not something seen often, but so well written. This one touched my heart. Tommy's wanderlust for meaning was approached so gently. He comes across as a gentle character. I appreciate gentle male characters as much as their antithesis. Angel and Jessi's equal love for Tommy and each other is inspirational.

Tyson and Zoey in Helpless, by Kaylene Winter are so freaking cute. Tyson is kind and charitable, and Zoey brings the fierce protectiveness in him. *swoon*

Candy Bar Mandy by Kella Campbell swept me away. I adore Mandy. I could totally see her in a remake of The Banger Sisters. She's someone I'd like to be when I grow up.
Zam, oh Zam. Beautiful human.

Keeping up the Tempo by Charlie B. Rose. Brooks and Britt. Rockstar and dancer. Could there be a better combination? They're playful, hot and so in love. I definitely wanted to read more of Wilder. He seems like the wounded bad boy type. And that's totally my type.

In Hayden's Dirty Weekend by Siân Ceinwen had me wanting more of Ally. Hayden's friend with benefits. She seemed like fun. I loved how they mutually decided, without drama, what to do about their relationship, and how easily it was forgotten when the stage crashed.

Wild Side by Sasha Marshall. What can I say except where can I get a Pierce? That man is what fantasties are made of. Farrah had no chance. The ending surprised me and aid definitely read more of them.

It was alluded to in Rocking the Band, that the collapse wasn't accidental. I would have love to read what happened. The who, what, where, etc

The world building to encomass so many different stories with one tying event was remarkable.

I won an ARC of this. All opinions are my own.

What a fun read! I found new authors to enjoy and reacquainted with some I already knew. No disappointments in this anthology as you get touching love stories as well as gritty erotica. Don't miss out! Get it and read it! What are you waiting for?

Helpless by Kaylene Winters
An outstanding short story about going to an awards ball! That each author was able to bring into the story so many different rockstar greats from other books were just amazing! A lot of work, but oh it made for the best anthology I have ever read! #KayleneWintersfanlovelessthanzerobandfangirlmoment!

Candybar Mandy by Kella Campbell
Wow! Just wow! The way a previous book’s characters are brought to life and given a HEA is just outstanding! After reading Candybar Mandy, I had to go back and read Kella’s previous books. Don’t miss out: read her rock star books. They will not disappoint!

Hayden’s Dirty Weekend by Sian Ceinwen
How each author was able to coordinate the story and retell the same encounters was truly awesome. Hayden has an eventful weekend with his friend with benefits. They decide it is over between them since they have no future since neither will relocate. Then with the disaster that happens at the Rock Star Ball Hayden and his friend decide to stay with the status quo at least for now. You must read The Baby or Sebastian’s Baby to see how Hayden’s love life plays out. Hayden’s book, The Stalker goes into more detail.

Wild Side by Sasha Marshall
The Wild Side by Sasha Marshall also follows the same storyline of all the stories in the anthology. How each author was able to coordinate the story and encounters was truly awesome. But this is the only story that was left on a cliffhanger or not ended with a HEA. Pierce Garrick claimed he was so interested in going on one date for each donation he helped Farrah acquire. Instead, Pierce walks away from Farrah after a one-night stand after the Rockstar Ball. I was disappointed considering Sasha Marshall is such a talented author. No HEA is a “hard no” as to whether I continue to read an authors’ work. A cliff-hanger at the end of the book without a follow-up book to give the characters a HEA is an experience I won’t forget or willingly repeat.

Rockstars’ Ball is a very enjoyable anthology featuring some of my favorite authors as well as a few that are new-to-me. The concept behind this anthology was fun and interesting where the author delivered her own story but each of these novelettes also have an underlying common thread.
Join these rockers for a night on the red carpet as this anthology has it all with humor, steam, and even elements of suspense!

HELPLESS by Kaylene Winter
If you are a fan of rocker romances with characters who have great depth, then you do not want to miss out on this short story! Less Than Zero is up for the Humanitarian Award for their work with The Rainier Foundation. Through The Rainer Foundation, I love how this story highlights the importance of music/art curriculums in schools and how many of these institutions are struggling to provide these opportunities. Ty and Zoey are the main focus but it was also a treat to see the other characters. Full of love, friendship, and even a bit of intrigue, Helpless is a well written story.

CANDY BAR MANDY by Kella Campbell
This is an entertaining and romantic short story that will capture your heart and also keep you on your toes. Candy Bar Mandy features the legendary rockstar Zam and the infamous groupie from the ‘90s, Mandy. You will recognize them from Easy’s story. One of the things that I really enjoyed is that the characters are on the older end of the spectrum. Mandy and Zam’s story is beautifully romantic and also fascinating. For short story, a lot happens in this novelette and I would love to see more of them in future books.

Rockstars’ Ball is a phenomenal anthology guaranteed to keep you entertained from beginning to end. I definitely recommend!

I voluntarily an early version of this book. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

I am a sucker for rockstars romances so the chances I would enjoy this were really high! And boy, did I enjoy it!!!
I'm a Sian Ceinwen and Tylor Paige fan but the other authors were new to me. I'll definitely go back to read more from them. That being said, I really loved "Hayden’s Dirty Weekend" as Hayden was my favorite Cruise Control character. The only disappointed story was Wild Side by Sasha Marshall, because I hate cliffhangers. HEA is a must for me (real life is hard enough as it is) and it's a deal breaker for me in regards to weather I read more books from an author or not.
Overall an excellent read!

I received an ARC copy from the amazing Sian Ceinwen and I'm leaving an honest review

What a wonderful read. I am always up for a good Rockstar romance and Sasha Marshall never disappoints in that department. Her characters are real , like they could be you or me, thrown into the world of rockstars. Her story left me wanting more of these characters. Plus I got to explore some other authors. A must for Rockstar romance fans.

This collection includes a lot of the rockstars we have read over the years and they are all attending the Rockstar’s Ball in Atlanta bringing their personal lives with them. I loved every story and most of the outcomes I was happy with but some left me hoping for more but overall it was terrific.

I read this book as an ARC. Amazing anthology! I loved each and every story!! This book contained authors I haven’t read before so I feel as if I’ve met new friends. Definitely new books to read. These stories all have the common theme of them attending the ball and how they dealt with what happened there. I loved it!

I enjoyed reading the snippets of the different stories from multiple perspectives. I of course loved the glimpse into Hayden's life while we wait for The Stalker by Sian Cenwen. This book was *just* enough to tide me over 😅

To be fair, one of these books is mine. Writing 'Rocking The Ball' made me fall in love with each of my The Flying Monkeys all over again - and now I'm writing the next in the Loving the Band series.

But seriously, I read the anthology from beginning to end. I love each and every one of these authors and if you check out my GR list - you'll know I'm a true fan. Fav? Has to be Sasha Marshall. Although Kella Campbell is definitely up there. Then again, how can I go past Kaylene Winters and the heartbreaking beautiful LTZ?

Excellent Rockstar Anthology!

I loved this anthology with a great mix of authors, some I was familiar with already and others I'm discovering for the first time.

Anthologies are a great way of discovering new (to the reader) authors. I have quite a number of series to catch up on which should keep me out of trouble for awhile.

I loved seeing Mandy and Zam finally get their hea in particular. Thank you Kella Campbell.

Also Sasha Marshall made sure the book finished strongly with an intriguing "cliff-hanger". I hope we have not seen the last of The Garrick Brothers.

Excuse me but I have quite a few rockstar romance novels to catch up on. Cheers 🥂

A Good Mix

Rockstars Ball Anthology is a great way to acquaint or reacquaint yourself to some terrific rock genre stories. I especially loved reading more about Immortal Angel and Cruise Control, but do suggest reading their backlists. The bands created by these talented ladies are all appearing at an awards show in Atlanta and each story had its own unique take on the event as it unfolds. Hotness abounds in this sexy anthology.
