Lovely illustrations, educational and great for early readers
I loved this sweet book. Even as an adult, it made me eager for winter. I know my children will want to read this multiple times.

With my two year old and in our current cold weather climate, Winnie Loves Winter is a regular in our bedtime routine these days. The illustrations are beautiful and Winnie knows so much about the season. Plus Winnie is a little Black girl who represents my daughter's image and spirit so accurately! I'm looking forward to adding Tiffany Obeng's Spring Book to our library as the season changes!

Winnie Loves Win
This was a fun fact book and my granddaughter really enjoyed it. Thanks Ms Obgne for a well illustrated and fun filled book. She loved learning the fact of Winter. She is learning how to read by reading easy fun filled book that gets her attention. I gave this book five stars because it had facts that she didn’t know about.

My favorite season is summer. What’s yours? Well, Winnie’s favorite time of the year is Winter. And in Tiffany Obeng’s new book (Yes! Another new book!), “Winnie Loves Winter”, Winnie tells you all the reasons why winter is, in her opinion, the BEST season of them all. From winter wear, to games played in the snow, you too will want to grab a warm blanket and snuggle up to “the sweet goodness of hot cocoa, a nice warm fire and yummy soup.”
And just when you’re ready to grab your snow boots to really appreciate all the delights of winter, Winnie shares even more things to love about winter! There are terrific fun facts that will make your little one feel like an expert on the season and which they’ll no doubt want to share with everyone.
This book is so much fun! The illustrations are cute and vibrant. Parents will love that the story is relatable to everyone, as it does not tie the season to any particular holiday. It simply expresses positivity and a young child’s joy with the winter months. Who wouldn’t love that?
As usual Tiffany Obeng is excellent at simplifying topics in the most effective ways for children. Not since Ezra Keats’ “A Snowy Day”, have I read such an enjoyable winter themed book featuring a character whose skin tone matches mine. It’s a diverse book win!!
I can’t wait to see what else Tiffany Obeng has in store for us. Maybe a story about spring, fall or my favorite, summer!!

I don't know if I can love this little book more! Well, I could if there was a series for all seasons! I have been disappointed in a lot of books about seasons. They seem dated or leave out details or don't really explain things in children's terms. This book packs in a lot of very important facts about winter.
This book couldn't have come at a better time as it's week three or so since the time change and he still starts asking about bedtime way too early! Tiffany explains this, as well as other important wintery things, like hibernation, and the warm clothes we wear. I also absolutely adore the illustrations, especially the main character. She's so happy and adorable. I love this so much I plan to purchase more to distribute to my son's daycare. He's 4 and this would be so great for his classroom!!

A sweet story of all the things to love about Winter
My little one really enjoyed the pictures and agreed with everything the child in the story enjoys about Winter. He even came up with some things that he loves too! The illustrations are beautiful and really evoke that winter feeling.

A beautiful story that follows a young girl that loves the winter! What I appreciated about this book is that it also shared fun facts about winter. This is the perfect book for children learning about the seasons. The illustrations were simple yet bold. A very delightful story indeed!

What an adorable book! It provides fun facts about winter in a sweet and interesting way. Kids will enjoy bouncing through the pages with Winnie, who's very enthusiastic about learning winter facts. The illustrations are great, definitely recommended.

This book is really good. Winnie, a cute girl narrates about winter and narration is adorable, childish, informative and easy. The best part is illustration, so neat, so vivid. This book is a must buy.
