Eric Powell presents the single most offensive, controversial, and flat-out loathsome comic ever published by Dark Horse. Powell pulls no punches in his outrageous shots at major religions, political pundits, sexual practices, liberals, conservatives, rural life, and even the Prince of Darkness himself. No one is safe! The contents of this issue will never be collected, so ...more

wow. there is not much to say other than that. i can see this definitely offending some people, grossing out others and entertaining other people with minds like mine. as tolerable as i am towards stuff like this, i sometimes wonder about the writers. either way, give it a read if you like sick humor that "goes there" on all taboos!

For those of you not in the know, the title of the book is "Satan's Sodomy Baby" and comes of Powell's fictional defiance toward one fictional Margaret Snodgrass of Alabama. The resulting hue and cry brought plenty of comic attention to the title and probably increased sales more than it should have. All in all a reprehensible marketing scheme for a morally reprehensible book.

I love it.

Well, like the warning in the front cover, this is not a material for children, and it is definitely sick. So... why the three stars from me? Because despite its being offensive, despicable, disgusting, and everything else in between, it made me laugh somehow, and believe me... i wasn't the only one. So, maybe i do have a sick sense of humor. Whatever...

This was by far one of the funniest, tasteless, and awesome comics I have ever read. Eric Powell is a king of comics.
