For Mike
By Shelley Sykes
After being forced upon with a burdence of the death of Mike, Jeff finds himself alone in a town with nobody to be there for him. To begin, the start of the book started off pretty slow. But soon picks up when the book takes a turn and brings up the thought of Mike being murdered. And this is where I personally began to be interested in the book. But the problem is Jeff has no idea where to even start. Because at this moment in time, Jeff has no idea who he can and cannot trust. Even though this is a fiction book, I would disagree with this placement and personally I would place this in the category of realistic fiction, as I could relate to many of the thoughts and feelings (emotions) that this book contained. Lastly, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves mystery and suspense and loves to sit on the edge of their seat while reading the whole book.
