PADA periode akhir sembilan puluhan, saya baru menyadari bahwa istilah “Islam” bukanlah sekadar sebuah label penamaan, seperti misalnya kata “Sudirman” ketika digunakan semata-mata untuk mempermudah pengidentifikasian sebuah jalan. Tidak ada keterkaitan antara makna kata “Sudirman” dengan jati diri sebuah jalan beraspal yang menyandang namanya itu. Demikian pula, kata “Sudirman” sama sekali tidak mengandung apa pun yang bisa menerangkan perihal jalan itu.

There's no instant enlightenment that works as thoroughly as the talks of a Sufi master. This lovely collection of teaching stories from the Turkish Sheikh aim straight for the divine heart within every human who is open to the lessons. Highly recommended
