A good book if you have younger children who enjoy the show, or if your like me and collect everything Cuphead related. Casual fans won't find much in here that they don't already see in the show. Nothing more than a cute novelty.

Full disclosure: I have but have not played the game. (It hasn't been high on my list somehow.) I also wasn't aware it was a show before finding this book, but I guess it is.

The base story seemed a bit inappropriate for very young readers, I thought, but it's along the same lines of cartoons when I was younger (and before that!), so it's not like it's COMPLETELY inappropriate, but Ms. Chalice's underwear (petticoats?) are on full display in the way of old cartoons, besides the whole Carnevil.

Granted, I'm also not sure what is actually age-appropriate anymore, and I'm also pretty "if your parents won't kill you for it" about whether younger readers have so-called "older" material. I just want to disclose that much for whoever wanted to know.

This book is mostly a basic primer to the main characters. The "story" is mostly that Cuphead and Mugman are brothers who get into trouble. Nothing as far as any of their actions *within this book* are objectionable. It's not terribly exciting, but for a book to learn how to read on one's own, it's fine.
