He came for me with claws and flames, and dragged my soul to Hell.

I never believed in the supernatural—until demon wolves hunted me down and dragged me into the violent embrace of the Infernal Court. The Court where I once ruled as their demon queen in a past life.

A life I have no memory of.

Now a prisoner in an opulent cage of blood and gold, I’m the plaything of a cruel king who claims I’m his wife. All others are forbidden to speak to me, look at me, and especially to touch me.

Lucifer, the Hellish wolf who tore me from the only life I’ve ever known, insists we have a past together... and a future. He’s deadly, seductive, and full of a dark rage. His forbidden touch is worth risking everything—and ignites the long dormant demon of lust and craving within me.

But if we dare to defy the king… we’ll pay for our sins in blood and hellfire.

Hell Bound is the first book in a paranormal romance trilogy with a strong heroine, a darkly possessive anti-hero, scorching steam, and breathtaking action. This book ends on a cliffhanger and is NOT RH. For mature readers only.

I was given an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Hell Bound is the story of Lilith, wife of king Asmodeus and queen of literal hell. She managed to escape hell with the help of Lucifer for 20 years but Lucifer being cursed by king Asmodeus is forced to bring her back.
This story was really fast-paced and filled with action. I was hooked from the very first line and after that I just couldn’t stop reading. I absolutely fell in love with Lucifer! If I were god I would take him back in heaven. I would suggest to check the TW before getting into this book because you see very graphic scenes of abuse and mentions of rape so if that is something you cannot read about then maybe this book is not for you.

This book had my anxiety skyrocketing starting with the prologue. So much pain and suffering. Lili is the unwanted Queen of Hell. Her husband, King Asmodeus, craves power and Lili’s broken body. After centuries of being tortured and killed only to be resurrected over and over again. Lili’s true love, Lucifer, has given up everything for a spell to have Lili’s soul be reincarnated as a mortal. Only now Lucifer is cursed and Asmodeus has found her once again. This time Lili doesn’t remember her past lives. I still have so many questions that went unanswered, but I’m excited to read book 2. Loved this first book so far!

What a great read! I just love our two MC, Lilith and Lucifier. They are both so tough and have so much love for each other. Specifically, Lucifier's love for Lilith. I love that Lilith stayed strong despite everything she was put through.
I loved that we got both their POVs. I love the angst and action in this book!
I gotta admit, for a while I was wondering if things were gonna look up for them both. I cannot wait for the next book! The was a cliffhanger, however it left us with a great set up for a new next book!!

Hell Bound is the start of a brand new series centered around Lilith, the Queen of Hell (or at least the Infernal Court) and Lucifer, Prince of the Fallen Court, cursed to be one of King Asmodeus’ wolves. Ass-modeus also happens to be Lilith’s douche of a husband, we know he’s the villain from the very start.

While the premise of the plot is a good one, there is a heavy amount of abuse in this book. Asmodeus lives to torture Lilith in every possible way he can think of. Physical, mental, and emotional abuse, including rape on one occasion. This scene is described, as well. Please use caution when reading if any of these darker topics are triggers.

When Asmodeus grows tired of Lilith not being his perfect, silent, obedient pet of a wife, he kills her. We start this book off with her being dragged back to Hell after a 20 year reprieve that she didn’t even know she was having. With no memories of her previous reincarnations, or what the rules to Asmodeus’ sick games are, she has to learn quickly if she wants to survive. She’s inexplicably drawn to Lucifer, from the time she’s brought back home.

They talk about breaking the curse and escaping the king, but until they’re actually running there was really no planning. No true effort put in to working out a way to get out. That and the abuse account for the lower star rating. I am curious where Lilith and Lucifer’s story goes next, though.

I couldn’t put this book down. Hell bound was totally surprise on every charter. Their time you want to choke out of Asmodeusu what he dose to Lilith . Lucifer had to watch until he makes his last wish. The charters of the stories were amazing. I’m looking forward to book 2 . I recommend this book. I give a 5/5

I absolutely loved this Lilith and Lucifer love story! I think a lot of times there is such a negative background story to both Lilith and Lucifer that I really enjoyed seeing them both as victims in this book, characters that went through so many hardships, both together and alone, for absolutely no other reason than someone wanting to control them. There's so much suffering for our main characters that it's incredible to see that they are still pushing forward and staying strong. With the connection to each other, there is always something to fight for, even if the memories aren't there to support it.

Lilith was an amazing fmc. I loved her sarcasm and snark as she constantly fought back against Asmodeus. She never gave him the response that he expected or wanted and I really enjoyed that about her character. It may have gotten her into some unnecessary trouble most of the time, but I liked that her fire never truly died and that she refused to be broken.

As for Lucifer, I always pictured him to be a ruler of Hell, so to see him being under someone else's control in this book was so different and unique. The cursed wolves were a nice touch as well, adding to his current predicament of being controlled with no logical way out of it, especially if he wanted to stay around to help protect Lilith. He was a strong male character that would do anything to keep the woman he loved out of harm's way.

The end of this book threw a lot at us at once but in such a good way. There's so much anticipation building and it's at this point where you really start to feel hopeful that there is truly a possibility of Lilith and Lucifer escaping Asmodeus. Several new twists are thrown your way as well, keeping you on your toes and constantly guessing what will happen next. I can't wait to see what is in store for Lilith and the Morningstar pack in the next book!

*Be aware that there are some possible triggers for rape, abuse in multiple forms, torture, and death.*

I received an ARC copy of Hell Bound for an honest review. The story jumped in right away with action and long-lost love. It was fast-paced and amazing. For me, the story started to flounder when it started setting up a lot of back story that was completely necessary to the continuing story.
Lucifer and Lilith are demons in hell and in love but Lilith is married to King Asmodeus. Lilith, to get out of a bad situation, (trigger warnings: rape, abuse including mental, physical & emotional) was sent to the mortal world as a reincarnation. And shocker! Without her memories. But in true story fashion…she’s back in hell and floundering her way through her “husband's” sick and twisted games.
Lilith and Lucifer can’t seem to stay away from each other, but for her good Lucifer learns to stay away through the story.
Towards the end of this book the story starts hurling action-packed passages at you at breakneck speed and you CANT put this book down. It also ends on the cliffiest of cliffhangers….so if are someone who HATES cliffhangers…wait until book 2 is out. (But I’m pretty sure until the end of the series they all will have cliffhangers.)
Recap: Super spicy paranormal novel set in Hell with Kings, queens, princes, princesses, and an entire court full of sycophants. Werewolves, what is believed to be vampires (but shocker is more like dragons), and other paranormal characters. Lost memories, rolling in the hay scenes, traumatic past lives and so much more. If paranormal romance is your jam…you’ll love this new series. I, for one, cannot wait for book two. I need it now!

Tropes that I noted from this book include but may not be limited to…

🔸MF romance
🔸Multi POV
🔸Paranormal
🔸Demons
🔸Shifters
🔸Royalty (you know…Hell royalty)

What an amazing start to a series!

The book is mostly set in Hell, and the main characters you may be familiar with, Lucifer & Lilith (and Asmodeus), if you’ve read or watched anything hell based before.

You may know their names, but I don’t think you will have seen a storyline for them like this before.

Lucifer Morningstar used to be a Prince of the Fallen Court, but on a visit to the Infernal Court, was cursed to become a Hell Wolf, forever chained to do the bidding of Asmodeus or suffer terrible pain or death.

Lilith was a Princess of the Ardent Court, she was courted by and eventually married to Asmodeus who was kind during their courting, but once he got what he wanted in marriage, became cruel and torturous, killing and reincarnating her over and over again, before Lucifer attempts to put a stop to it with a spell to have her reborn as a mortal on earth with no memories of her past life in hell.

And that’s just the prologue.

The main AND side characters have so much depth, I definitely recommend this book to paranormal romance lovers who need an actual storyline with their reads. I’m so excited for the next book.

Super Series Start
Well I started reading this at 7pm and then ended up staying up till 2am to finish it!!
Liliana is ripped from her mortal human life and dragged into Hell, by someone whom makes her body come alive….
However she’s delivered into the hands of King Asmodeus who claims to be her husband, essentially making her Queen!
It becomes apparent that the man who rescued her Lucifer , despite not being her husband, has a connection with Lily and gave up everything to get her out of her life- if you love dedicated broody alpha men he’s definitely for you! The dual POV really amps up their connection 😍
The king and her husband Asmodeus appears to just want to make her life as miserable as possible and, although I wouldn’t class this as dark personally, there are scenes with torturesque devices and true humiliation 😬 we’re never quite sure why she’s been treated as such…..
I did wonder at one point whether there may actually be some semblance of hope for Lily and Lucy but it’s there 😉 be interesting to see where the story goes in the next book

I don't think I was quite ready to read this book. To be honest, I've been sticking mostly to light-hearted stories but I always love to get my ARC from Cate and I would never turn one down!

READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS! Seriously, just do it. I just wish I had been a little better prepared for the amount of pure abuse the heroine goes through. We've all read through some dark stuff, but when someone gets tortured in the first two pages and then someone else loses their head (deservingly) in the first five minutes, it's a little more than I can personally handle.

That being said, world-building is as good as any other Cate Corvin book. I haven't read anything else by Melora Francois, but the storytelling is exciting and adventurous. There were moments I did feel I could tell where one author switched to another, but it's nothing that takes away from the story. I will also say that having read the Razing Hell series by Cate, I do prefer that Lucifer to this one x1000.

Still, I'm looking forward to the next in the series!

Loved this different telling of Lucifer and Lilith!

Man... what a story!! I was Chewing my nails while reading it waiting to see what would happen next. Lilith, being mortal now, is taken back to h*** by Lucifer and others. She doesn't know that she's been reborn and has no memory of her past lives ... yes, lives. Her husband, Asmodeus, lives to torture and then kill her .... and wait for her to come back and do it all over again since he cursed her. Lucifer was also cursed... he is no longer prince Lucifer but the Commander of the cursed wolf shifters.

Lucifer and Lilith have a love story for the ages but Asmodeus keeps finding out which ends up being her downfall. This time around, with no memory of Lucifer and their past together, she still feels drawn to him and has no clue that she is a succubus.

The torture she endures is horrible, and the ending left me clinging to the hope that all will be okay... can't wait to read what happens next!!

I received an ARC for my honest review!

Be prepared to lose sleep and feel a range of emotions. The story itself was well written and had you hooked from the beginning. The characters make you fall in love with the book though. Normally it's the MC and the love interest that you are fully drawn to, but the way Lili feels about each supporting character makes you root for all of them and not just her and her love interest. I am fully invested in finding out not only what happens when we see our MCs again, but what happens to their friends. I want ALL of their story's. Not just Lilis. It's so rare for me to find a series that has me hoping for spinoffs of the additional characters but this is definitely one of those books. It does end on a cliffhanger, but who would be eager for the second book of a series if it didn't? I 100% recommend this dark romance.

I found this telling of Lucifer and Lilith really interesting. It isn't the normal Prince Morningstar - ruler of the underworld Lilith, Mother of Demons.

Lilith is the Queen of the Infernal Court and married to Asmodeus. He only wanted her to keep his rule - he treats her horrible and kills her and brings her back time and time again. Lucifer is cursed to obey Asmodeus and lost the rule of his Fallen Kingdom. Over the centuries Lilith and Lucifer have fallen in love.

Our story starts 20 years ago when Lucifer bargained with The Crone to get Lilith out of hell....unfortunately Asmodeus found her on Earth and drug her back. Now this reincarnation of Lilith was human and has a different personality - watch her navigate the Court after she have memories of her past lives while trying to keep her new friends and past love safe.

Great retelling and very interesting take.

Wow, not what I was expecting at all. Took a little getting used to, since there's another version of Lucifer in Cate's RH series that I'm a fan of. But this was a unique take on both his character and Hell's world building. It's also very dark--starts off that way right from the get-go. The DV was hard to take, but really builds up your hatred for the villain to over 9000. The steam is as present here as in other CC (and MF) books, and I didn't feel that any hot times were lost in the segue from RH to MF.

Lily goes through a lot, and even coming into Hell completely clueless, she was able to build up her defenses in a believable way. Loved her, was frustrated by Lucifer much of the time, even though I ended up liking them together. I enjoyed Lucifer's packmates, and look forward to reading more about them.

I'm still reeling from this book! I feel like giving it five stars isn't even doing it justice at this point. I am totally new to both of these authors, but after reading this first book in this trilogy, I am now a fan! The imagination that came into creating not only this well-woven story but the highly detailed plot and so well-rounded characters is nearly mindboggling. I can't even remember the last time I read a book or even saw a film that had this much going for it. Yes, there is a monster of a cliffhanger, which will probably keep me up at night until I get to read book 2. Don't hesitate here, if you love great story with a dark twist and fabulous characters, grab this one now! You won't be sorry!

This story intrigued me from the start. The characters drew me in from the first page. As this is the first book I have read from these authors I was not dissapointed. I loved the story line between Lucifer and Liliana. Liliana keeps having to relive her life only to tortured and killed by her husband the king of er and over untill Lucifer thought he managed to put a stool to it unfortunately that was not the case and she was found once again living in the human world unaware of who she really is. Just when you thought things were going to be okay, things go bad. Can't wait to read the next installment

I was locked in from the prologue. The characters are written really well which made me feel attached to them right away. The story line was so interesting that once i started reading I couldn’t stop and finished this book in one go! Liliana/Lilith keeps reliving her life and being killed over and over by her husband!! Her lover Lucifer tries to protect her but she’s found again in the human world but this time she has no idea who she is and things are about to get crazy!! The ending left me gaping !!! This book was a rollercoaster to say the least and I am so looking forward to the next book!

Be warned Hell Bound is a pretty dark read and some parts will upset some folks. I found some of this book hard reading myself.

Liliana gets dragged to hell (quite literally!!) to be reunited with her husband - Asmodeus. Only its not a loving relationship and she has no recollection of who he is and where she is. Mainly because shes a reincarnation of Lilith his actually wife. Asmodeus is a tyrant using sadistic torture, mind games and underhand/backstabbing tactics to manipulate both Liliana and others to do anything he wants. Its a fast paced, action packed read with great characters and plenty of plot twists. As well as one hell of a cliffhanger ending. Bring on book 2 now

Such a great book. The tragic love between the prince of darkness Lucifer and the lovely queen Lilith , I couldn’t get over how Lilith being queen was subjected to such horrible ways but still had hope and was such a strong character her and Lucifer . Asmodeus the king was just awful in the ways he dealt with his wife and Lucifer . Even with odds stacked against them they always pulled through . Lilith and Lucifer finally get a break but of course things will never be that easy so I honestly can’t wait for the next installment to see what happens with these two plus that horrid husband of hers.

This was my first read by both Melora François and. Cate corvin! And I have added their books to my list! ... also PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS! this book is pretty dark with some of them.
Ok! Holy Bananas! This book had me at go. Lilian Lucifer and their love story was such an emotional roller-coaster. The things that Lili goes through! Man it's heart wrenching. The characters were so wel done Ausmodeus as the king of hell and Lilith as his Queen. World building...wow just fantastic..and the steam was PERFECT. I really really liked this story. I cannot WAIT for the next book! The cliffhanger was amazing! (I love them) you really need to give this one go! But mind the triggers.

Melora and Cate are both new authors to me.

This is a new series and let me tell you it gets you hooked from the start.

This book is the story of Lilith who is the unwanted queen of you guessed it, Hell.

She is married to Asmodeus but there is not a lot of love there (totally not, what there is, is a lot of abuse).

Next to Lilith there is Lucifer the other MC.

Lucifer is cursed to Asmodeus.

Lucifer tried to save Lilith but that only lasted for a bit.

This book has so much action and love it is so amazing. Next to that it is a fast-paced book.

And that cliffhanger, it was a great way to start the next book.

Recommend: Yes 100% this is just pure epicness.

Liliana has never really fitted in with other people but she never expected to get dragged to Hell by anyone, let alone some hellhounds or demons! Then she finds out that she was, formerly, the queen of hell and her nightmare is just starting, again!
This was a rollercoaster ride of a story, Lucifer burned hot then cold for Liliana/Lilith and she didn't remember their history at all, so didn't understand what was going on. The ending was a bit of a shocker, just when you thought it was safe....

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, also comes with some triggers so heed the authors warning. Captivated me From the prologue which is a flashback. It is centred around Lilith and lucifer. After being murdered by her husband Asmodeus, lucifer protects Lilian/ Lilith by reincarnating her as a human. The book begins with Lilith being dragged back to hell where she struggles with her attraction to Lucifer. There is angst, fire and drama! And yikes to that cliffhanger

I received an ARC for this book and am voluntarily leaving a review

I could not put this book down. It's fairly fast paced and has great characterization. Each character has a distinct personality and I formed opinions on each one fairly fast haha it has multiple POVs and it was compelling to see the world through their eyes. The setting is at turns strikingly beautiful and grotesque. I was rooting for Lily and enjoyed watching her evolve over the course of the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.I can't wait for the next book!

So this is the first MF I have read in awhile and boy did it exceed all the expectations. The Queen of Hell, Lilith, has been killed and reincarnated with missing memories. She is dragged to hell without her consent and has to learn to survive the horrid king while fighting her feelings for another. It is an absolute rollercoaster ride! It moves fast and you will not be able to put it down. Let’s just say I lost a little sleep over it. Excited to see what comes next! 💜🖤

I finished this story in one night. Really really got hooked on this storyline. Lilith/Lily is a great main character. I really enjoyed the whole reincarnation part. Ok I’ll admit the cemetery part had me there. Author really pulled me in with that scene. I have so many questions that I really hope book 2 will clear up. No other spoilers. Definitely recommend reading. Be prepared to be hooked. Loved it!!!

What a read. OMG, I could not put it down until I finished the last page. This book grabbed me and kept me reading till the last word. It moves along at a pace which made for an enjoyable read. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and you want to be there for them. The story will grab you keeping you interested till the end and then you are needing more. This book needs to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.

Hell Bound is on the darker side of the books I tend to read but I know to trust the process. Lilith has been put through a lot by being the King Asmodeus's wife and it's about time she escapes! Despite her devil of a husband, Lilith finds love and a level of intimacy with Lucifer. As the pace continues to pick up throughout the book (and series), I'm curious to see what Lilith and Lucifer will do to get out from under the King's thumb!

OMG I need the next book, like, yesterday! I just couldn't put it down and the anxiety inducing levels of misery and woe Lilith suffers through made me want to reach through the pages and strangle her douche canoe of a miserable excuse of a demon husband! So... this book is intense, in other words and I love every word of it. I'm all here for Lilith and Lucifer, and they WILL make it!!!!!!!! I hope....
Don't go get this book - RUN to get it!

Lill has been resurrected for years by her husband, King Osmodeus. Lucifer, Lills true love, made it so that she would not remember what had happened to her. Lucifer also tried to make Lill unfindable. It unfortunately did not work and Lill is now back in hell.

This was a great beginning to this new series and I cannot wait to find out what happens next.
