The Late Scholastic (S. XVI-XVII) made an important contribution to the science of Economics. Not many people acknowledge the work of the Christian Doctors of this time, this book helps in the understanding of their value. Adam Smith is known as the father of Economics but even he built on the ideas of previous generations.
