This title, along with fellow Weekly Shonen Jump title Bokutachi wa Benkyō ga Dekinai (We Never Learn) are both post-Nisekoi harem romance had a work around over the inevitable ending of choosing only one girl or the girl who won. That would be presenting the non-winning routes as alternate timelines. Bokuben presented them as side stories after the main ending. This title presented it as dream sequences or alternate futures.

I’d like to think it gave the supporters of the nonwinning girls the closure of seeing an alternate ending of seeing their respective ship sail.
