This is the best book on male sexuality I've ever read. In researching and answering the question of why some men rape, he also explores why most men don't. The level of critical thinking and analysis in this book are stunning. Anyone at all interested in sexuality should read this book.

This book reads like a long and well written scientific paper and should be approached as such. It is not easy to read, both in terms of the scientific style and the subject matter. The authors present a lot of information and deliver no easy answers and always seem to take into account the evidence at hand.

I see this book as mandatory reading for professionals working with rapists in a therapeutic setting. If you are just interested in forensic psychology, this book might be also for you.

Overall very important and fundamental work, that hopefully helps driving research in this area on risk assessment and intervention forward.
