Bit of a weak issue, I finished this a week ago but forgot (??) to post. I liked Andrea long chu’s piece on brain magnets and the essay on translating “invisible man” to Italian.

The essays on translation were neat, though none referenced Benjamin, which seems somehow insolent. Elisa Albert's short story "Mammals," about a disrespected doula, stood out among an uncharacteristically weak issue. Jill Crawford's "Vale" was bleak, but I couldn't stop until I was finished.
