Enjoyed this easy to read book by Hattie Elledge. The book was written in "plain language" and nicely covers hormones for men and women in various stages of their lives including puberty and over 50. She took a deep dive into supplements, side effects from some medicines like birth control pills, establishing an exercise routine, yoga (she provides guidance on poses and their effects on mind/body), meditation and a healthy meal plan.

The main topic that is throughout the book is eating healthy food. She explains that we are what we eat. She highlights examples of healthy food and what affects they have on our bodies (hormones) while also mentioning harmful affects of unhealthy foods (fast food).

I liked that she provided a brief recap after each chapter.

Recommend this book to anyone wanting quick answers.

The book is a decent overview of information about hormones and what you can do to balance them. However, there is literally nothing here you can't find online (the bibliography contains no books or scholarly articles, only internet links). If you want to save time and read everything in one place, this is fine, but if you've already read lots of articles online, you won't find anything new here.

Recommend for any female. I have suffered from hormone imbalances for years this hit the nail on the head. What a great book happy to have it in my collection. Very educational and a must read

Very useful book

I would recommend this book to anyone with hormonal imbalance but I wish the author had included more information about meat and its effect on hormones as the suggested meal plan included meat on most days.

good information easy to understand

Concise, easy to understand. Practical approach to healthy eating and nutrition. I will follow this lifestyle changing plan. Looking forward to feeling better.

Good book, easy to understand and explained things well. I can't wait to mix some of these into my everyday life.
