Constitutional and Administrative Law
Using numerous topical examples and a clear structure, this third edition textbook provides an accessible, discursive and scholarly treatment of the key contemporary issues in UK public law. Drawing upon their extensive teaching and research experience, Roger Masterman and Colin Murray offer an engaging account of the key topics which make up a constitutional and administrative, or public, law syllabus. Controversial issues and broader debates are highlighted throughout the text, allowing the reader to develop a strong understanding of both the application of key topics in the field and the socio-political context in which the constitution has developed. This fully revised edition includes detailed analysis of recent significant cases, the constitutional implications of the Covid-19 pandemic and a dedicated chapter on the consequences of Brexit.

good and concise book and masterman is a solid professor (if im able to be okay with Friday 5pm classes (be serious)) but why can't they just make my life easier and make the constitution codified?
OK UPDATE: Masterman carried first-year law for me so I'm gonna give my honest rating (writing my last final rn thank u my twizzy). THE BOOK IS SO LONG FOR WHAT. It just proves to show me that the UK Constitution and its connection with the EU is so complicated massive respect to him choosing such a difficult and confusing field to focus on in law...atleast its spicy and ever-changing! Content-wise I just am so lost, its not Masterman's fault tho(!), its just I am really done with the EU and I&S word problems mentally.
As for writing style, well organised and carried my education in public law. Regardless, would've loved a bit more on like modern impacts but I mean it's hard to know since they're going on as you write. Solid work my g
