Aven pilots a private jet for a team of do-gooder assassins, but it isn’t until she’s shared by two special spies that she truly learns to fly.

Konstantin is determined to get even with his Russian mafia kingpin ex-boyfriend, Levin. The jerk sidelined him, banishing him to unlikely babysitters for safekeeping—a den of foreign agents trying to take down the entire operation.

What better revenge than to seduce the smoking hot pilot Levin craves and rub it in his face?

Levin doesn’t care if Kon is pissed. At least he’ll live long enough to get over it, free of the life of crime he hadn’t had any choice but to live. Thoughts of what Kon and Aven are getting up to every night rile him, though not in anger.

Rather than fight over which one of them gets to keep her, Levin plans to teach Kon how to share.

Aven, Konstantin, and Lenin, oh my!! From their first interactions I was all in! I loved how the relationships developed between Aven and Konstantin, Aven and Levin, Levin and Konstantin, and of course, Aven and Kon and Levin.

Their Shared romance is the true definition of the word: “belonging to, or experienced by two or more individuals.” The trio certainly belonged to and with each other. And they certainly experienced some amazing highs and scary lows. But they managed to get it all right in the end and to find their happily ever after. ~ Missy, 5 stars

This is a new to me author and I will be going back and reading the previous books in this series. I felt like I was missing something with this one. Shared is Konstantin, Levin and Avens story and it's a MMF romance.

Shared by Jayne Rylon is the sixth book in the Power tools: The Shields series, and this book ticked all of my boxes, and was totally worth the wait!

Aven is amazing. She's kind and giving and talented and driven and open and honest and the touchstone needed for two men that have overcome so much.

Konstantin is hurt and angry and focused and dedicated and loyal and so much more, overwhelmed by feelings, unsure what to trust, but has so much to give.

And Levin? He is devastating in the best possible way. Doing the hardest thing for the best possible reasons, giving his all, unsure whether it'll pay off in the end, but doing so out of love. It's powerful.

The chemistry is insane. The desperation, desire, and devotion is palpable. This story is about acceptance, sacrifice, and learning to love yourself, to love others, and to be loved. And, it's a smoking hot read too!

P. S. That scene with the remote. I'm still trying to cool off after that!

P. P. S. ADORED seeing all these beautiful familiar friendly faces!

Somehow, with these three being separated for most of the book, they seemed to be more attached to each other! Maybe because they cherish the moments they do get to see and talk to each other. Maybe because the connection between them becomes more solidified each time they connect. Maybe because time and distance does nothing to dampen the heat that sizzles between them. Or maybe because it is so obvious that they love each other, would do anything for each other, and that only makes them more aware of it when they are apart. Whatever it is, these three definitely kept my attention as they worked through all the things keeping them apart, so they could come together and have the HEA they so richly deserve <3
p.s. I’m so happy that all that happened to James’ car lead up to the momentous moment that happened 😊

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Ohh, it's the final book in The Shields series but thankfully not the last we get to read from Middletown (The Heat is up next)... Anyway, Levin took over as russian kingpin when he took out the previous leader - now working together with The Shields to take down the organisation. Meanwhile, his lover Konstantin is under protection on The Shields' turf, bonding with Aven. A very typical Jayne Rylon story - and even the Jamesmobile got to have its minute of fame and therefore not being entirely destructed.

Phew!! This was an awesome book! What an ending to the series!
"Shared" picks up right where the last book left off, but with the focus on Konstantine, Aven, and Levin.
Super steamy scenes, especially the video call and the reunited ones.
Also! The tension of the actual plot!? I swear I was holding my breath!

The final member of the Shields has found her mates, bringing this sub-series to a bittersweet ending, but the ending was filled with passion, sensuality, drama, pain and fear as three people found their way to an ultimate lifelong love. Jayne Rylon never ceases to stir my blood and bring me to tears with her stories of pain and vulnerabilities that must be faced in order to bring her lovers to ultimate happiness, but this finale was BEYOND even my expectations. Aven’s story began in the previous novel when the sexy and dangerously dominate mafia boss Levin crashed into her life when he made a deal with Shields to protect his friend and his boyfriend from the harm his life had placed them in. Now Konstantin is caged with her day and night when she is not on assignment and the angry bear of a man has lost of belief in the love of the man he would have given his life for, despite being unable to get his heart back. Levin is determined to rid the world of his enemies and knows that he is not worthy of the sexy Kon and Aven, but the more he faces their connection and the sweetness of their relationship the more he wishes he could be a part of them, despite knowing it could never be. But when their enemies catch up to Levin, Aven and Kon will risk everything in order to bring home their man and have a chance to convince him that the three of them are meant to be a unit and their love is strong enough to defeat any obstacle in their path, even Levin’s own stubbornness. I knew from the moment Levin crossed Aven’s path that their story was going to be explosive, but when we meet their third and the connections between them all begin to develop the passion is beyond the heat of the sun. Levin is the typical uber-dominate ass you expect, but under that façade you can see the fears he harbors that he isn’t good enough for them, despite wanting so badly to be able to give them what they all want. He is determined to go down burning the world around him instead of having to walk away from Aven and Kon. I loved seeing him in the few moments he caved to his own needs and allowed himself to embrace the need for his lovers to support him, even as he gave them what they all needed. Aven is a strong woman, a warrior in her own right, but she has never had the love she needed from anyone in her lie, so she doesn’t understand that she is just as integral to the men’s love as their connection to one another. She is sassy, smart and sweet as hell, putting the needs of her men before herself again and again, but I loved that she finally found a way to push past her fears and reach for the love she wanted with both her men in order to truly happy. Kon was the wildcard in this story for sure. He was at times submissive and sweet, but others such an alpha and aggressive in his fights that you wondered if he had multiple personalities, but the truth was that he was simply himself and gave his lovers the personality they needed at any given moment. His softer and sweet side came out when faced with Aven’s need for comfort or Levin’s need to dote on his lovers, while his strong and dangerous side came to the front when she needed him to keep their lover safe and lead them all out of the darkness of fear and doubt. Together they truly made the perfect three sides of a triangle to support one another and come together in a loving and fulfilling relationship. I am sad to see this series ending, though I understand there is another spinoff coming so (maybe even two!) centered in Middleton so we will get to see the Shields plenty in the future. Jayne is truly a queen of Ménage and I know when I pick of any of her stories I will be turned on, emotionally fulfilled, and entertained from the first page to the last. Another winner!

I have been reading the Powertools Series since almost the very beginning. Knowing that this is the last book in The Shields arc of the world there were two things on my mind as I began to read. One – after the ending of the last book, I knew we were going to be having a very angry man on our hands. Second -what is possibly going to happen to James's car in the story.

We do, in fact, have a very angry man on our hands. Konstantin has been ripped away from everything he knows and loves and can’t understand why the man he loves would want to send him away. Levin had his path laid out for him before he was even born. He’s made choices and decisions that affected a lot of people. Now he’s making choices and decisions to make sure the people that deserve what they deserve get it and people are no longer hurt. Even if those decisions hurt his own heart. Aven has this dominant side, and knows how to get things done. But yet she has the softness that not only attract at the attention of a big bad mafia boss, but his boyfriend as well.

Shared is an action packed quick read that will have you heat it up by the end. Aven, Kon and Levin seem like an unlikely trio on the surface, however, as I’ve made my way through the pages, I learned that they were a perfect fit for one another. Each of them balancing out something different in each other. They were able to help each other through their insecurities, and found something special within the reunion. The chemistry is off the charts and when they finally are able to get together as one it’s not just sparks flying it’s an explosion. I am happy to say that The Shield ended in a fabulously spectacular way.

PS – James's car, totally unexpected, and a total win.

Levin was raised and groomed to be a mafia leader, but it isn't what he wants. With the help of the Shields he took out the old boss and is determined to dismantle the rest.

Konstantin was a Bratva brigadier and Levin's secret lover. He joined the organization to help his family, but all their promises turned into a nightmare he couldn't escape.

Aven made bad choices when she was younger, at nineteen she was divorced and cut off from her parents. Now she's an accomplished pilot and a key member of the Shields team.

When Levin agreed to take over and dismantle his organization he had one condition, the Shields had to protect the man he loved, Konstantin. Konstantin did not appreciate this, in fact he used it to feed his insecurities, believing Levin had thrown him away. Aven and Levin grew close before he returned to his country but with Levin gone, her and Kon start to get close and she hopes she can be more than a fill in for Levin.

Their relationship gets hot and heavy and a little tangled with insecurities and the mafia threaten their chance to have it all.

I love Rylon and I have really enjoyed this series, however this one had me struggling. I understood the hurt and confusion Kon had in the beginning but it started to grate on my nerves and I had a hard time aligning a Bratva soldier with how Kon was behaving. I kept waiting for him to believe Levin's actions and words but he wasn't getting better. Levin and Aven were the stars in this story, but Kon kept making me put the book down to read later. On an upside James' car is still a scene stealer!

Shared is the final book in the Shields series by Jayne Rylon. This story picks up right where Claimed, the previous book left off. It is not necessary to read the previous book to understand what is going on with the story in this book but it would make sense to read the rest of the series first. There are other characters from the series that do have a tendency to pop into Rylon’s books so it is nice for continuity.
Shared is the story of the Shield’s pilot Aven and her developing relationship between rescued Russian mobster Konstantin and his Russian kingpin boyfriend Levin. Levin and Aven got to know each other briefly at the end of Claimed when the Shields helped Karolena and Levin smuggled Konstantin out of Russia.
I have loved all of the Shields books but I did not enjoy the last two as much as the first few in the series. I like Aven as a character a lot and I felt like for a good part of this book she was treated as a third wheel, almost like a pawn, in an already established relationship. Despite Kon, stating that was not what he was doing, it did not come across. Aven is strong and holds her own with her two men and by the end of the book she accepts and trusts who she is.
Jayne Rylon can definitely bring the heat in her writing. Shared is not missing any of her characteristically steamy scenes and happy ever afters. The story did have a nice blend of humor, heat, and seriousness that comes with the Shields crew. I am looking forward to her next series which she teases at the end of this book.
I received an ARC for my honest review.

A Dominant Conclusion

I love when a book has me squirming from all of the intense heat between two characters. I love it even more when it's between three or more characters, which Jayne Rylon definitely delivers on. 🔥🔥🔥 Whether in pairs or a trio, together or half a world apart, Aven, Konstantin, and Levin set my device on fire!

For the first time in his life, Konstantin thought he might have landed in a place where everything he’d thought made him a misfit—his sexuality, his need to take care of stuff, his desire for comradery, the thrill he experienced when he pulled off a heist— actually helped him fit in.

I honestly wanted to cuddle Konstantin so many times. His heart just spoke to me. ❤🤗 Kon combined with Aven and Levin is the perfect blending.

No Shields book would be complete without some zany, completely off-the-wall scene with James' clown car. I don't know where Jayne comes up with these things, but it is totally in keeping with James' image and style. 🫢🤣

I really enjoyed this final book in the Shields series. I know this isn't goodbye, as past characters frequently show up in new stories, but I will miss these throuples. That said, I'm looking forward to the Heat series and the bonus short for this book gives a very brief peek at what might be in store. 👩‍🚒👩👨👨

Do you want everything in a great romance book? This is it. It is part of a series and I highly recommend reading the previous books in the series not only because it is so worth it but because you’ll have more understanding of all the characters that you’re introduced to. Aven is getting her story. The best pilot shields has and she’s not afraid of danger. But what she is afraid of is the relationship that she is developing with Konstantin. They both have trouble with relationships and figuring out how they fit in. And the answer to all their problems is Levin. Now, if shields can only get him out of Russia without somebody dying. Their relationship is so meaningful, and they need each other so much that when they do get their happily ever after they have earned it. The end of this book aside from being a happily ever after, and totally awesome kind of rounds out the series. And of course it wouldn’t be a great shields book without some mishap with James’s car.
I’m telling you, you have to read this series, yes, it is. MMF, and Jane Ryland is the queen of everything. MMF. I absolutely love her books and this series is no different. Outstanding.

This was a quick read, but filled with a good dose of heart and action.
As there is no blurb and only one of the thruple revealed, I’m going to be keep this quite vague and short and sweet. I can’t deny that I loved Aven and the men who she eventually gets to call her own. They all have major insecurities, all valid, and have a hard time seeing just how honorable and good they are, regardless of everything they’ve been through and done, so watching as they all basically Gibbs smack sense into each other ~ with a little help from the Shields, was a good mix of fun and frustration.
As with many of this author's books, the heat is intense, and quite creative at times, so have that ice bath ready.

This was a fun series to read and though this is the last for the Shields, we were introduced to some of the members of Heat, so bring on the next group to fall to whatever is in the water in Middletown. (And it was nice to see that they finally got the Jamesmobile right lol)

I can't believe this the last book in this series! It sure went out with a bang. Though to my delight it's not goodbye to the Powertools universe! It's Aven, Kon, and Levin's turn for their story. We got to know a bit of this cast of characters in the previous book. I couldn't wait to dive into this one. There is the steam that really gets the heart pumping. You may need to keep a cold glass of water handy for when things gets quite steamy. There is plenty of heart in this one as well. Levin and Kon are really risking their lives to bring down some nasty characters. Then throw in Aven to round out this threesome there is so much more on the line. James is up to his ways and I couldn't wait to see what was in store for his green baby. That's always a surprising twist. This book was so good I found myself up way into the wee hours devouring the pages. Kon, Levin, and Aven have the chemistry, but also the connection that makes this book special. I really can't wait for the firefighters next!!

The shields team last book in the series, after rescuing Karolena from her clutches of her ex husband who happen to be the most wanted person mafia family. She returns to help Levin her best friend and hero for helping escape her awful prison life and the new adventures begin.

Meet Konstantin a brigadier solider for Valdamir but more importantly someone special for Levin being part of the notorious mafia in Russia Konstantin had to do and survive until one night something goes down and life is getting flipped around .
Meet Aven independent woman hardworking and a pilot for shields team loves the work she does and loves that now she has a bigger family to relay on at best until she meets Levin and now Kostantin. Meet Levin the second in command to Valdamir but has soon as he rescued Karolena life was about to change but before that could happen he had to pull the plug on the whole operation. Brilliant storyline highly recommended reading loved the characters and series Spies romance

Loved this book! I loved Aven as the pilot for the Shields in previous books and was waiting for hers! She is with Konstantin at the Shields headquarters while Levin is still in Russian in danger. The three of them are apart for a big part of the book but you can feel the connection between them. As always there's some conflict between our trio mostly between Kon and Levin but with the help of Aven they slowly figure it out. I loved all the action in this book it was so fun! And of course the others Shields are always a blast and James is always a hoot! I had no idea a new series was coming about Firefighters but YES! I'm here for it! Jayne never stops surprising me with where her stories go! I love that they are all in the same world and the characters from multiple books get to interact with each other! Can't wait to see what's next!

This is a brilliant conclusion to the Powertools: The Shield series. Don’t worry about not getting your Jayne Rylon fix though, The Heat is underway!
Shared is pilot Aven’s story that we were given a glimpse into in the previous story, Claimed, and the heat between her, Konstatine (Kon) and Levin is sizzling hot.
Having one of the main characters mainly living in a different country for so much of the story could have been difficult to build a meaningful menage relationship, but with Jayne Rylon writing this love story, she makes it work beautifully.
Highlights in this story for me was the reunion of Kon and his Babushka and of course the piece de resistance, the green Jamesmobile!
It is sad to see The Shield team finish but I am eagerly waiting to see where Jayne takes us with The Heat.

What a great ending to another fantastic series by Jayne Rylon! Shared brings us back where the last book left off with Aven, one strong, butt kicking heroine! We also have the great great pleasure of meeting Levin and Konstantin. These two lovers have a very tough relationship with one another, and when Aven is thrown into the mix, she suddenly finds herself growing closer to both men but afraid to interfere. When their lives are suddenly in danger, the Shield team doesn’t hesitate to step into action to help those they care about most!

Jayne writes another great book that ties up the series so well. There’s action, PLEANTY of heat, and a perfect MMF HEA.

Although this one can be read as a standalone book, I highly recommend reading the other books first to get the full effect and to meet each character.

Jayne Rylon does what she does best. Three people who didn’t seem like they belong together, totally do. Two of the three already have something even though it’s forbidden. The third flys into their lives on missions of justice.
I loved these three. Of the series, they have the most angst. And I love that edge of my seat will they or won’t they moments. Levin, Konstantin and Aven are rarely in the same place at the same time. Levin has things he needs to finish to right the wrongs. Kon was sent away for his own safety even though he can’t see the valid reason. Aven is the catalyst between them both for the moment. Their chemistry is strong and present even half a world away. I loved every second.

I more than loved this book !!!

Miss Rylon is the queen of the polyamorous genre and she demonstrated it again in the last Powertools the Shields series.

The storyline is more than good ( a bit intricate at times); it has suspense, action, some pretty funny situations, lots of high running emotions and pretty steamy intimate moments ;)
Love the banter between Kon and Levin.
It's always pleasant to visit with characters of previous books :)

I think that I have a favorite character and it's James.... I just love him lolll

Highly recommended book and series; you won't regret it !

Another great throuple

Konstantin feels abandoned by his lover Levin. What he doesn’t realize is that Levin sent him away to protect him. So what he’s attracted to Aven, Konstantin thinks, why not?

Aven feels alone in the world. Experience has taught her that good things don’t last. So when Konstantin attracts her, she thinks it’s only until Levin returns.

Levin may be the big dog but there are always a few brave dogs willing to try and take him down. So he knows that time is short to bring the organization down. Then things go sideways and he needs to run. Could it be too late to run to Konstantin and Aven?

The last book in the Sheilds series did not disappoint. While this book can be read as a standalone it is best read as part of the series to understand the world it is set in.
Levin took over as the kingpin to the Russian Mob and is working with the Shields to take the organization apart from the inside. Meanwhile, he sends his lover Kon, a former member of the mob, to live under the protection of the Sheilds in return for his cooperation to take down the organization. While working with the Sheilds Kon and Levin both meet Aven the Sheilds pilot. The resulting relationship leads to a quick paced steamy story.

Konstantin is bitter about being sidelined. Aven has a crush on him even as she know he pines for Levin. Levin is determined to protect Konstantin and Aven but will he push them too far?
Shared is the latest installment in Jayne Rylon's Powertools: The Shields series. I enjoyed getting to know Aven, Konstantin and Levin better. Levin has a guilt complex that nearly gets him killed. Aven and Konstantin have self esteem issues that stop them for fighting. Can they move beyond their issues to happily ever after? I thoroughly enjoyed finding out as Ms. Rylon allows us on their journey to fulfillment.

Heart pounding

Konstantin (Kon) felt like a prisoner and that Levin never really loved him. He is staying with shield. One day he walked passed the command center and saw that they were on an opt. Once he realizes they are meeting with Levin he fears they are going to get him killed. Aven is falling for both Levin and Kon. Ruby finds news of Kon’s grandmother, he demands to be able to see her. Have a run in with Levin. Can Levin accomplish what he set out to do? Can Aven help pull them all together? Will they finish this mission without losing anyone? Come on in and find out.

Jayne has an incredible talent to build heat and passion amongst powerful, independent characters. The Shields excel at protecting those in need and executing impossible missions. Aven is a critical member on their team but even the strongest need someone to lean on. As Konstantin tries to heal from his mistaken rejection by Levin, I was ecstatic when he and Aven find solace in each other. But their mutual attraction to Levin can not be ignored. Levin’s alpha, commanding aura is so hot, especially when it conceals a true heart underneath. When the three come together, his command of the connection was beyond streamy and delivers maximum pleasure for all.

Wow, another great ride (so to speak) in this amazing series!

Levin, Konstantin and Aven have so much chemistry, it sizzled off the pages. They went through so much, the separation, the drama and suspense. But oh man, when they finally get together, it was explosive.

I absolutely love the way Jayne writes menage, lots of heart, plenty of sexy scenes and of course an HEA.

Kon, Aven and Levin are back together but have a time apart in this journey. They long fir each other but have situations to take care of first. This was a continuation from the last book and continues with their storyline. The characters are developed and pull you into this exciting journey! They finally get together and it’s HOT! A wonderful story! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book picks up where book five left off. I do suggest reading the series in order, continuity, nuance and enjoyment. Aven, Levin and Konstantin come together in a story of drama, danger, acrimony, misunderstandings, passion and more. They navigate moments of vulnerability, jealousy, and uncertainty in their developing union, while trying to dismantle the Russian crime syndicate from within. I enjoyed reading this fast paced story from start to finish.

The series ends with a bang! I love that we got a story with Levin, Konstantinos and Aven. Their story comes together with lots of drama, action and delicious heat level. The bumps that these characters took to be able to find their forever was enduring and so worth the wait. Sad to have the series end, but I’m glad I was able to follow the wild ride that these characters experienced to find their HEA.
