excellent book for those don't know anything about web programming ,from where to begin and how to continue. this book cover almost every thing about elementary web programming (for advanced topic such as mvc and platform you can refer to other books in my library such as pro asp.net mvc 5 ).it arranges subjects in a proper way and say every thing when it should be said. enjoy web programming :) thank Deitel and associations for this masterpiece .
I was assigned this textbook for two of my courses - web development and portal fundamentals. The book has a lot of great information and exercises to try, however many times the functions/methods called for in the challenge exercises are not covered in the book. I think that a bigger effort should have been made to cover all material called for in all the exercises should have been made.
