A new Christmas tradition to bring the whole family together! Christmas Treasure Hunt tells a charming and delightful story of Santa preparing to deliver a game on Christmas Day.
Beyond the fun of the story, the heart of this book can truly help create a better, more memorable Christmas that is accessible to anyone.
This is a wonderful children's book. The illustrations in the book are excellent. The book allows for the children to interact with the story. "spoiler" I was curious what was up with the "pickle" when reading with my grandchildren. :)
I loved to hear about your family traditions. We have one but not as creative as yours. For our children, we started with spreading reindeer food outside on Xmas Eve with our children. It is a bag mix of oats with glitter. We let the childrent spread it on the lawn for the reindeers. Now we do this for our grandchildren too. Thanks for sharing your tradition.
What an adorable children’s Christmas book to stir up some magical ideas on creating those traditions and memories! I will definitely be coming up with our own Christmas treasure hunt from here on out. Also, I loved the illustrations! We always hide a pickle on our tree, so that was a fun element to see! I am happy to receive this copy on Kindle with the Goodreads Giveaways
A cute follow along story that has a few pages to locate missing or misplaced items. Not every page lists things to find and there aren’t that many objects to find. Because of that, this book will not keep children entertained for long stretches of time, but, would be great for a quick bedtime story.
A clever, poetic book which gets children involved in a treasure hunt - both within the book and, if desired, in their own house or neighborhood. Fun illustration. Diverse characters. I could see kids reading this year after year, finding the treasures within the book.
I thought this was a cute read for children during Christmas at bed time. I love the pictures and was easy to read. It has some activities the children could do.
Beautiful illustrations in an introductory look-and-find Christmas book. I was pleasantly surprised that the book was in verse, which is always a plus in children's books. This is definitely an introductory search book, best for 4 and younger when reading to them. The end has tips for setting up your own scavenger hunt in your home, which kids are more likely to do after reading the book.
This is the cutest Christmas book ever about Santa getting ready for his big night and has you helping to find the things he will need. The pictures are fun and the wording is perfectly done. This book really brought a smile to my not so young self, which goes to show that it is great for kids of all ages!!
