I'm always such a fan of Molly's writing, so when she announced this sexy age gap romance I couldn't wait until I had this baby in my hands!!

Tessa and Dean are just electric together, and the chemistry between them was just *sparks flying* *cue the TSwift song* and the true feelings they have for one another underneath all that sexual chemistry is just the cherry on top. These two have been battling their feelings for a while now, and a trip to Vegas bounds them together.. in more ways than one!

This book was just so lighthearted and fun and sexy, but still packed all the emotions. I loved how protective of Tessa Dean was, and I loved how she fought for him and made him see all hes worth. I wish there were some more sexy scenes with them with how electric they are, but regardless, this was such an enjoyable read and I can't recommend this enough!!

The amazing Mason Creek Series is back with the next new release in all its beauty and Molly McLain gives us quite the little romance here.

Perfect Scandal was all kinds of good and definitely featuring a couple tropes that I'm currently addicted too. Tessa and Dean hooked me hard and fast and I never wanted their story to end.. savoring every single moment and emotion.

I've said it once and I'll say it again.. this series is one you do not want to miss out on. It's got a little of everything we all love.

I can't recommend this highly addicting series enough.

Book thirty in this fantastic series, many authors, pulled us into the small town of Mason Creek. I have been around since the beginning, and each book has been a fun read, an escape, and the characters have become friends.

Tessa and Dean was a story I did not want to end. I loved her directness, her drive, and her determination. Dean is a hard-working rancher with his own demons. But at a wedding in Vegas, none of this matters, and the two let down their walls. But will it stay in Vegas?

It is not too late to start this series; this reader recommends it.

I’ve not read any books in the Mason Creek series before, but I don’t think this even mattered. Sure there were a lot of characters who seem pretty loved up, but nothing detracted from Dean and Tessa’s story.

This was a sweet rancher tale that beautifully balanced the thin line between overbearing brothers and a woman with her own agency and determination. So often it is assumed that there is an unspoken code between men saying no one should date the younger sister of your friends. Fortunately, Tessa was having none of this!

Oh, and ARC, but naturally my own views!

The only thing I did not like about this book is that it was not longer!! I enjoyed the story of Tessa and Dean. She is a badass young woman who knows what she wants. He is a handsome, rugged man that doesn’t think he deserves what he wants. When fate steps in they are unexpectedly tied together and that’s the best thing that could have happened.
Her family may not approve but he is one of the good guys and they have to learn to accept it.

This is well written. The characters seem so real and relatable and it’s easy to get emotionally attached. Tessa is the kind of woman you want your kids to grow up to be and Dean is such a genuine guy that you can’t help but admire and love him.

Definitely recommend this book and the entire series. Can’t wait to see if there will be more from Mason Creek.

I am in love with this authors writing. She had the ability to take me to places I’ve never been before with just her WORDS! Her attention to detail in Perfect Scandal was astounding, which fell right in line with the well thought out storyline/ world building. There was depth that almost brought me the tears, and characters that gave me all the feels. This was all done with amazing inner and outer dialogue.

I don’t know what it is about the men that this author writes, but they’re on a higher standard. Straight smoke shows, that completely enrapture me. I’m talking about Dean lol.

Tessa is the go getter, that is never afraid to put in the work to achieve what she wants. She’s fierce with a strong enough backbone to knock a grown man off his feet.

Overall, this was a wonderful read. I recommend.

Perfect Scandal is the 31st book, yep, you read that right, no typo, in the Mason Creek series. It's a stand alone, forbidden, age gap romance in a small town. You can't go wrong with this author or this series and catching up on some past interconnecting characters is a plus. The MCs in this book has you glued to the pages and rooting them into their HEA.

Dean Langston is the foreman of the McMurray ranch and the owners little sister, Tessa, who is 10 years younger, have been told to stay away from each other. But the attraction is there non the less.

Both are in Vegas for a wedding and the chemistry is hard to deny, especially, when alcohol is added and they find themselves hitched the next morning.

When a work situation gets dicey with harassment and she turns to her husband for comfort and safety, signing those annulment papers becomes something that needs to be burned to ashes.

Where do I begin with this couple? Dean and Tessa have to be, hands down, one of my favorite couples that Molly has written. They were adorable!! I loved seeing how their relationship progressed, from the first time we are introduced to them in the Christmas Special, and now for them to have their own book...I'm obsessed!!

I'm so happy that this story turned out the way it did. Molly knocked this one out of the park!

Ohh to be back on Mason Creek. And add in Tessa and Dean. I fell so hard into this book and into this couple. I needed to know what happened. Especially after Vegas. I couldn’t read this book fast enough but now I’m also sad that it’s over too!

This is Tessa and Dean’s story. Dean works for the McMurray brothers and is friends with them. Tessa is the sister of those brothers. Totally off limits but she has decided that she wants him and only him. He can only resist for so long. One trip to Vegas and all thoughts of resisting are over. Molly McLain has definitely done it again. And with a vengeance!! I have been a huge fan of Ms. McLain’s writing ability for many years. I missed her books very much when she took a very much needed sabbatical from the writing world. But she is back with a vengeance!! In my honest opinion, she has come back better than ever. Her latest release is Perfect Scandal is the 30th book is the Mason Creek series in which Ms. McLain is a part of with several other talented writers. She actually wrote 3 books in this series, Perfect Secret and Perfect Chance, and now Perfect Scandal. And, in my very honest opinion, every one of the books has been FABULOUS!!!
We met both lead characters, Tessa McMurray and Dean Langston in the previous books, and I was hoping that they would get their story as well!! And MAN, did Ms. McLain give them a story!! Oh my gosh was their story hot!! If I had been reading a real book instead of my Kindle, the pages could have caught on fire, and I LOVED every word.
I loved watching these two come together, in spite of Tessa’s brothers, her VERY overprotective brothers. I was so happy when they finally got their HEA.
I really love Ms. McLain’s writing ability very much, and in my honest opinion, she is one of the queens of small-town romance. Her characters just have the feel of an everyday people and are believable.
Kudos Molly McLain on yet another PHENOMENAL story!! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talents with your readers. We really love your books; I know I DEFINITELY do!!!

Even in the previous books, you can feel the chemistry radiating from each other. Their true feelings for each other are buried in all of the sexual tension you can think of. But don’t worry, they clear up that tension really nicely. 🥵

While there was the underlying angst of the secrets they were keeping and trying to keep everything under wraps, all in all, this book was light-hearted. It had a way of being fun and sexy but also very emotional. Dean was very protective of Tessa, and Tessa made Dean see how much he was worth it. The contrast to each other was *chef’s kiss.* 😘

This was a great read, and I would think nothing less of Molly’s writing. For all romance lovers, this is the book that needs to be read. ❤️❤️

In Vegas for his cousin's wedding, he wasn't planning on doing much. That is until he realizes the woman who has haunted his thoughts since Christmas is a bridesmaid in the same wedding. This might be his only chance to hook up with the boss's younger sister. After all, what happens in Vegas..., right?

Tessa McMurray is determined to prove to her brothers that she is more than capable of handling her own life. She even left ranch life behind to escape their shadow. So imagine her delight, and shock to find the hot, older foreman in Sin City. The one man who might convince her to give up her corporate life for the Montana sky. If only a tipsy stroll down the Strip didn't leave them with something that could be the best or worst decision made.

Once again, I got hooked by another of Ms. McLain's men. She never fails to deliver the best. Her men are the best of swoon and heat, as well as the females with sass and steam. Dean and Tessa are absolutely worth the read! 10 scandalous stars!

when Dean finally leaves the ranch for his cousin's wedding in Vegas, he figured a few drinks a tipsy bridesmaid on the dance floor and then he'd be back on the ranch back to his daily routine. Little did he know that Tessa was going to also be at that wedding as a bridesmaid, he's had his eyes locked on her since he meet her at Christmas on the ranch but, the only problem that is stopping him from hooking up with Tessa is that she just happened to be his boss's little sister and they treated him that she is off limits. But Tessa also wants Dean, and she isn't about to let her brothers get in the way of that, drunk and in Vegas. Tessa finds herself waking up in Dean's bed and on the table a marriage license, and she doesn't remember a thing that happened the night before, Dean fills her in on a bit that he remembers. But apparently not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas when u come home with a husband. will these 2 be able to keep their scandal in Vegas to themselves and end it or will it blow up in their faces and everyone will know about it? OMG this was a great story loved the bantering and the teasing between Dean and Tessa love love love.... I wish Mason Creek would never end.

There are not enough words to express how much I love this book. I already knew that I was going to be a fan of Tessa and Dean after being introduced to them in the first two books of the series but the way these two characters have stolen my heart was completely unexpected.

Neither one of them are looking for anything more than a good time, thought Dean takes a little bit more convincing than Tessa does since he concerns her forbidden fruit due to the fact that she is the baby sister of his bosses. It's clear from the start though that there is more than just mutual attraction between these two stubborn souls. They way they just organically fall for each other after their drunken marriage in Vegas flows perfectly while both of them are dealing with outside issues like Tessa's work situations and Dean's ranch issues.

I have been a Molly fan since I was first introduced to her on Tik Tok and spent my entire vacation reading her backlog of books and to this day I have never regretted it. She has made herself one of my absolute favorite authors and this book is precisely why. It's so easy to get lost in her make believe world and be left begging for more.

Well it safe to say I have a new book boyfriend, Dean. Oh and a new bestie, Tessa.

After reading her brothers stories. (If you haven’t read those two- run and do it now!) Tessa did NOT disappoint. What happens in Vegas most certainly didn’t stay in Vegas for this couple.

The cowboy who doesn’t think he’s worthy and the girl who will stop at nothing to change his mind. It’s the perfect recipe for an escape into Mason Creek.

Molly does it again with a binge worthy, swoon at his every move cowboy, strong female lead, and storyline that had you rooting for the couple from page one.

Tessa knows what she want and stands up for herself when a coworker is out of line. I loved seeing that strong bullheaded lead that doesn’t need a man to take care of her- but it sure is nice when they stand up and do it.

This book gives a great amount of detail without going overboard. Some well procured spicy scenes that will make every girl want a cowboy in Wranglers.

I am obsessed with Dean and Tessa. I devoured this small town, forbidden age-gap romance. knew I was finished. I want to spend time on a ranch and find my own Dean. This is book 30 in the Mason Creek world but it stands on its own. Tessa’s two brothers do have their own books in the series, but this can be read without missing anything.

Tessa is feisty and she knows exactly what she wants. Dean is a hard worker and puts everything he has into the ranch he works on, the ranch that Tessa’s two older brothers recently bought. When they both end up at the same wedding in Vegas they decide to give in to their attraction for one night. You know…”what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”. After returning home, the two communicate as they work to dissolve the result of their night of drinking. As the two spend more time together their chemistry turns more.

I loved the relationship between the two. It was sweet, and Dean is the perfect book boyfriend. He is swoony but his protective side comes out when necessary. Dean and Tessa’s story has spice, laughs, and a dose of tension. I loved it!

Tessa and Dean FINALLY get their story and I am here for every forbidden second of it! Who says it's forbidden? Tess's brothers... who happen to be Dean's bosses. There was so much I loved about this book. Tess is strong and a real B.A.B. I loved her in every book I read about her in and now that she has her own story I could not be happier. Molly handled this book perfectly. Forbidden, age gap, distance, harassment... this story has it all. Dean was everything I hoped for plus all that extra swoonworthy stuff that I love about Molly's books. Even though I have heard this may be the last Mason Creek book Molly is doing, she is still one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to see what she has to share next. As for Mason Creek... there may be more books in the future but I've read all that have been presented so far and I love the series as a whole. This one was definitely one of my faves for sure.

Scandal by Molly McLain is a 2nd time read for me by this author. The book has to grab my attention right away by 3rd chapter of a book if it doesn’t grab my attention I’ll put it down and not read it again. From the first page I was sucked in and was not able to stop until the end of the book. This book is Tessa and Deans story. Tessa McMurray is hellbent on proving that her brothers don't control her. Setting her sights on her family's ranch foreman is risky. But she knows what she wants. Dean Langston loves his job, and he refuses to do anything to jeopardize his position. After all, the McMurray brothers are not only his bosses, they're his friends. The last thing Dean wants to do is ruin his relationship with Tessa brothers in which are his friends. But he can’t resist Tessa no matter how much he tries.

This booked moved me, and in the end I was so happy to see an HEA for two people that deserved nothing more than happiness.  Great read and very satisfying in the end.

A Scandal in Vegas

So sweet & sexy!
This was my first time reading the Mason Creek series and I didn’t feel that lost so I can safely say you can read this as a standalone.
This is about Tessa and Dean who have feelings for each other but haven’t crossed that line due to her brothers and the fact that they live in separate states. However, a trip to Vegas brings about an unexpected outcome.
This book was so cute and unexpectedly steamy. I thought Dean and Tessa were adorable together and really brought out the best in each other. I loved Dean’s nickname for Tessa too! I mean, Sweetness! Swoon alert! I wish there were a few more steamy scenes but I’m happy with what we got.
I loved Tessa. She was a take charge kind of woman and she was easy to root for and admire. Dean was just delightful. I liked that he was protective without being bossy.
Overall this is a very quick read that will leave the reader with a smile and butterflies!

This was my first Mason Creek book, and I have to say this book does great at standing on its own. I am sure the book would be much richer if I knew the stories of the McMurray brothers but I was not lost at all. Dean Langston’s life is at Mongolia Blue and he does not have time for anything else. However, Tessa McMurray has other plans. And those plans go a bit off the rails.
This is a great low angst and quick read. I love the way Molly’s characters deal with the issues they face head on without hurting each other. Dean is certain that his future can not involve love but has a couple great people in his life to set him straight. Tessa can come off as kind of wild to begin with but she really is a responsible and caring person. These two balance each other very well and I love how they find out how to move forward with their “scandal”.

This was a fun quick read! Dean has been working on the Magnolia Blue ranch since he was 17. His dream was to own it one day. Tesssa brothers own the ranch and she definitely has a crush on Dean. There is no denying that Dean is extremely interested in his bosses sister. He doesn’t want to cross the line because he respects this hard working family. These two spend time together and get extremely close….maybe to close. What happens when everyone else finds out what has been happening. While Dean has been worrying about his own job, Tessa has been dealing with her own work drama. This was a great read with a few great layers of an incredible story. I have Loved the Mason Creek series since book one and this book was a great addition to that series.

i If are looking for a series that centers around the tropes of small town and second chance romance then look no further as you have absolutely found the perfect series .perfect Scandal by Molly McLain really is the perfect combination of everything I lol for when reading romance . Second chances , wonderfully written characters , off the charts chemistry, witty banter , humor , angst , family , friendships , heartbreaking and heartwarming moments , it’s fun , it’s sexy , it’s a true emotional rollercoaster in every sense of the word . It’s the type of love story that will grab onto all your emotions so tightly and pull at your heartstrings in ways you will not be expecting. Simply it’s perfection and should not be missed

I loved this story, I could not stop reading and when forced I was plotting when to get back to reading!

I have been eagerly anticipating the release of this book since the Christmas special.

Dean works for Tessa’s brothers, Holden and Kaden, and although he has been warned away from the 10 year younger Tessa, their attraction is something neither of them can deny. When they unexpectedly attend the same wedding in Vegas . . . Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

I loved this story and loved catching up with characters that I loved from previous books. This is part of a series, but you can read and love it without having read more stories about Mason Creek, although I definitely recommend you read more in the series, because it is an awesome series!!!

I couldn't stop reading once I started this book!

Tessa and Dean have great chemistry and banter. It was great to travel back to Mason Creek and get a glimpse into the lives of the other characters we've read about, especially Holden and Kaden.

Dean hasn't been able to get Tessa out of his mind since he saw her months prior and he realizes he might be in over his head when he notices that Tessa is the bridesmaid in the wedding he's attending in Vegas. These two give in to the old tale that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but is that ever true?

Every time I jump into another Mason Creek book it feels like I'm emersed in the town and joining all my old friends.

Tessa and Dean have this magnetic pull toward each other. Meeting over Christmas they knew they had something special, but Tessa is his boss's little sister making her off limits for good. When these two end up at the same wedding feeling will come to the surface. Tessa though has bigger problems with someone who won't let her go. What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay, however, if they have the connection these two do it might just help you fight the evil. Dean and Tessa will always fight what they feel but sometimes love can just pull those strings just a little bit tighter. Dean has to decide what is more important his job or Tess? What will he decide? Can Tessa love Dean enough to show him they should be together forever?

This was a real good story. Dean and Tessa had me gobbling up the pages. With the age gap and working for Tessa's brothers she is a forbidden fruit to Dean. When these two are together you can't deny the chemistry and connection they have. Their adventures in Vegas create a chain of events that both so deserve. Dean pulls on the heartstrings with his backstory. He so deserves all the happiness. Someone like Tessa is perfect because she keeps him on his toes. A great book with plenty of heart and engaging characters. These two left me with a big smile one my face and my heart happy. You could feel true depth of their feelings even if they didn't want to acknowledge it. A great addition to the series. I really enjoyed this visit to Mason Creek!

I love a good small town romance! Dean and Tessa's story was heartwarming and swoony. Dean's protectiveness over Tessa, chefs kiss, even when he had his internal struggles. Watching Deans character evolve throughout the book was touching. Tessa is such a strong woman and goes after what she wants in all aspects of her life. Reading their story unfold had me feeling many emotions, all of those good ones! I love Molly's storytelling and writing, she grabs you from the very first page!

I'll miss Mason Creek, but can't wait to see what's next!

Omg this freaking book!! First off I loved the other two by Molly in this series, but this one takes the frigging cake!! I loved Dean and Tessa. This was the perfect sweet romance. It is a totally pallete cleanser. Which is definitely what I needed lately. It was just so refreshing to read. The sweetness, the sassiness, the love, the drama. It was all so perfect! Dean was the grump foreman that turned swoon worthy and loveable. Tessa is the perfect strong and hard headed heroine with the right amount of sweet. I just loved these two so damn much and their perfect love story. It was definitely the perfect scandal.


And let's just say Holden and Kaden both pissed me off during this book but redeemed themselves. 😘
