Mark Verheiden is an American television, movie, and comic book writer. He was a co-executive producer for the television series Falling Skies for DreamWorks Television and the TNT Network.
Just utter garbage, Peter David wrote an amazing miniseries; then DC got hack writer Mark Verheiden to try his hand. He tries to make it ‘relevant’ with tales ripped from the headlines, there is the ecological tale of pollution dumping, the Phantom flies to America and battles the KKK. It’s so ridiculous and not in any way a phantom story, I’m not surprised that Verheiden version was short lived.
