There's a psycho out there mutilating, torturing and killing very young children. With the number of children going missing and turning up dead I am surprised that parents aren't locking up their children in their houses. Mason Black was a police officer and is now a private investigator, and he's trying to track the perpetrator down. It should have been a good book but somewhere along the line I lost the plot, too descriptive of the violence towards torture of children, didn't warm to the central Mason character. Did read to the end but am wondering why. Not a book for me.

I decided to read this book on kindle on my way home from college not knowing anything about what it was about and I got HOOKED from the start.

a rough summary is; Mason is a private investigator and is working a case of a serial killer who has been going around killing very young children with a specific pattern.

every chapter had me at my seat wanting more! I bought the rest of the series and can't wait to read more of Mason Black!
