“A choice,” the beast chuckled, gripping her tightly by the wrists. “You’ll continue to receive your lashes, or you’ll receive your punishment in a more creative way.”

Everyone knows that Santa keeps a list of who is naughty and who is nice . . . but what happens to those on the naughty list? What happens when naughty girls grow up and stay naughty? He’s here to punish misdeeds with lashes and pain — and dark, unspeakable pleasures that last the whole night through. How can a naughty girl think of repenting when the punishment is just so good?

C.M. Nascosta is an author and professional procrastinator from Cleveland, Ohio. As a child, she thought that living on Lake Erie meant one was eerie by nature, and her corresponding love of all things strange and unusual started young. She’s always preferred beasts to boys, the macabre to the milquetoast, the unknown darkness in the shadows to the Chad next door. She lives in a crumbling old Victorian with a scaredy-cat dachshund, where she writes nontraditional romances featuring beastly boys with equal parts heart and heat, and is waiting for the Hallmark Channel to get with the program and start a paranormal lovers series.

3.5 stars. Good girls…bad girls…it doesn’t matter. The Krampus will pillage and conquer all female subservients. And they seem to be more than happy to oblige. Now let’s open this up to all the ladies and gentlemen out there with Krampus kinks. Is it the ruggedness? The long, skilled tongue? What is the appeal? Whatever the reasons are, this beast is a sexual being. Can’t get enough of it. Just down with the sex 24/7/365. So this collection was all sexually aggressive Krampus-related stories. They all sort of blended together, so I wished there was some additional variety, but they were fine. I am still amazed at how many of these books are out there.

This book is exactly what it claims to be; a collection of short stories featuring Krampus, doling out punishments to the naughty children and adults of the world. It’s a lascivious grouping involving lots of spanking and sexual punishment. Some of the stories are better than others, and it contains Narcosta’s unique brand of smut mixed with social commentary. Unfortunately I didn’t find the world building to be great, I think she started off well making elves and other Christmas characters overworked and underpaid by abusive Santa in his warehouse, much like an amazon fulfillment centre. But that wasn’t really explored deeply and most of this book was spanking and bdsm style sex between Krampus and his naughty list. So it was ok, but I’m not really into heavy pain erotica so it might work better for someone else.

First of all, I really like the whole story between Dara and Krampus. When it continued with other female protagonists, I was disappointed, because none of these stories gave me anything. I think one of them is even really problematic in its message.

The last two chapters tore it out again, but all in all I wouldn't necessarily recommend this book. Somehow a lot seems too forced being rough for my taste. Sure, the stories are short but maybe it simply isn't for me...

Please pay attention to the trigger warnings!!!

I'm looking forward to other Cambric Creek Stories - I loved all of them.

This is a collection of stories about Krampus meting out punishment to naughty adults or women who want to be on the naughty list - or at least think they do until they truly get punished 😬 sounded good to me. The first story is the best, imo. It has some things to say about capitalism and consumption and greedy men and a drunken Santa but the stories that follow left that all behind and felt very repetitive after the second one.. I truly don’t care if it didn’t follow a trad romance format, I mean it’s a story about torture king Krampus after all, but when it’s all switches and the same dub-con sex scenes over and over with the Frank’s Red Hot sauce ending it got a bit boring even for me. A 2.5 ⭐️

Definitely the best Christmas read this year. 5 filthy stories all about Krampus and his special brand of punishment for the naughty.

Surprisingly sweet in parts and has what I'd call a HFN ending but be warned if you don't like your H's spreading the joy around so to speak then this may not be your spicy cup of cider.

Take note of the warnings and enjoy a Christmas book that's about a horned monster and not a jolly fat guy.

I loved another book by this author, but there was a couple things about this one that just didn’t pull me in.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a lot of either missing words or mixed up words. One of those things that make you stop and reread the sentence a couple times to understand what they meant. Don’t get me wrong, mistakes happen and things get missed. Sadly there were just too many for me and it kept pulling me out of the story.

I also think I would have enjoyed it more had it been the same girl, but throughout their time together or something. I just struggle finding JUST sex scenes hot when it’s literally just a scene. That’s not the authors fault, just my preference.

To be honest, I can see where if you don’t mind either of those things, you’d enjoy this. It just wasn’t for me.

First, a couple things.

1- make sure you actually read the content warnings on this book. Nascosta is kind enough to have the book open right on them.

If you're one of those silly people who thinks content warnings are ✨ spoilers ✨ , well, you either need to get over that or not complain about the things you would have been warned about. She's very thorough and warns you: this isn't Cambric Creek, and it's not going to be sweet.

It's Krampus, ffs.

2- if you're part of the pearl-clutching Safety Brigade... move along. This isn't for you.

That out of the way... some spoilers ahead.

Wow.

I was expecting this to be a collection of short, unrelated tales from Krampus, knowing it wouldn't be sweet, it would involve many different FMCs, and it would involve a lot of pain and not-happy sex. Because—Krampus. Punishing the wicked and all that. And I knew it was going to be very different from Nascosta's other work. And it both was...and really wasn't. You can definitely see her in here, even if she went off-path from her usual Monster-Fucking Hallmark brand of stern brunch daddies.

So this set of short stories actually has a frame, which was the biggest surprise for me. Taking place over the course of about 14 months, we open Xmas Eve (2021, or maybe 2020?) in a contemporary hellscape which has reached all things Christmas. Santa is a money-grubbing Capitalist who keeps down-sizing his work force who are all now working at a sex club that he's probably getting a cut of the profits from. It seems the pandemic and other current events have happened here, because Krampus and the other penal Christmas aspects are also, shockingly, low on work that year. So he and some of the others are working in the basement of Santa's Workshop, in the dungeon. Which is fine, but Krampus would rather be making house calls as he usually does.

Enter, Dara. A woman who, years before, was caught up in one of those house-calls when Krampus came for her unknown-to-her criminal roommate, and she gets punished too for keeping poor company. Despite actually being on the Good List. That night ruined her life, and now Dara can not hold down a relationship because...she's developed a pain kink that keeps scaring her boyfriends away. She just can not find a dude who likes to spank her properly. So she's decided to make a trip to Santa's Workshop this year and check out the infamous basement and get what she's been wanting. And she ends up finding the creature who started this all, they have a connection of sorts, and she strikes a deal with him.

The next two stories are not really clear about what point in the timeline they take place. They might be pre-Dara, or they seem most likely to be in the following Christmas after their arrangement.

The first involves a Good List mother who gets a visit from Krampus by mistake——but ends up taking what she fears is her son's punishment. Like Dara, this FMC is another good girl with a need to be dominated and hurt a bit, so it ends fairly well for her. "Well" being relative here.

Now the third story? That's our only real naughty lister in this book. And Nessa is anything but Nice, going out of her way to screw over anyone she can—including family and people who should be friends—and intentionally cause trouble. When she thinks she can control and pull one over on Krampus, well, it doesn't go in any way how she thought it would, and she does not get anything enjoyable out of her transformative experience with him.

Story four, we return to the frame. This one really cracked me up. The idea of Krampus in a straw hat, Hawaiian shirt, and trying to process Feelings was pretty amusing.

Now that his arrangement with Dara is over (which he's very conflicted about), Krampus decides to go on vacation to the Pacific where no one knows who he is and he can forget about her, soak up some sun, avoid Santa and his annoying phone calls, chase local tail, and eat a bunch of delicious food. Until a very sweet Bavarian woman recognizes him and he is, once again, chased after by a Good Lister who is very curious about what he does. After she annoys him enough, she finds out. And that little twist at the end for the FMC? Loved it. But at the end, Krampus realizes that he misses his complicated arrangement with Dara and wants to go back home to her.

The fifth and final story finds Krampus back at Dara's place and realizing she is trying to move on after he abruptly exited about 2 and a half months prior. His solution to clearing out the house is both terrible and a bit delightful in a wicked way, and he's free to get back on track with his Good Girl and finally set her straight about some things.

Totally enjoyed this. I wish the hints of world building had been fleshed out just a bit more, but I get with shorts that they're not a novel. Would love to read more of this Krampus with and without his Dara.

Monster fucking gold from CM Nascosta… to no ones surprise! This is totally depraved filth just in time for Christmas. It’s 500% different from any other holiday read out there and has the quality of writing and storytelling that I’ve come to expect from this author. Time for Krampus! Prepare to clutch your pearls and blush!

Wouldn’t classify this as a romance

The book was pure smut with the barest minimum of emotional engagement or attachment. Krampus went from woman to woman and either punished them or fulfilled their dark desires. It was very sex positive and anti-shame for BDSM, which was nice. The book felt like a way to explore BDSM, but it didn’t have any of the limits that make BDSM safe. It explored the fantasy many people have of being in a dubcon situation but everything magically ending up great.
Might be preaching to the choir, but PLEASE don’t use this book as inspiration for how to Dom/sub. The kinky stuff? Go for it! But safe words and boundaries are so important.

Spice: 5/5

Triggers: dubcon, sex work, Quid pro Quo, lots of pain

I'm not familiar with Krampus but if CM Nascosta writes it, I will read it.

This is a collection of 6 short stories of Krampus doing ~Krampus things~ to those on his naughty list. And by "Krampus things" I mean punishing and by punishing I mean lots of spanking, tonguing, and fucking. :) FYI the stories range from consensual, dubcon, and noncon.

It is most definitely spicy, but I can't say this is my favorite collection of erotica. I like the way this author writes, it feels a little more elevated than one's usual smutty read. This serves as a festive one-handed read but doesn't have any emotional depth to keep the reader invested. Do with that what you will.

I’m so sad. I am not upset with the kinks or the sex in this book. I personally loved the first chapter and was more than excited until I realized it was the end for the two characters. At first I was completely confused until I realized it was supposed to be a new couple for every chapter which was a real bummer. Reading all this author has wrote, I think they do an amazing job of making me fall in love with characters even when the plot/porn/premise is extremely out there (Morning Milking Glory, etc.) and they did it again in this first chapter until I was extremely disappointed that it didn’t continue.

Had this been the same couple the whole way through finding love I would have loved it, but it just wasn’t.

4/5 on spice. 4/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. (From what I could tell on the first few chapters)

Very interesting take on the Krampus legend. This book consists of multiple excerpts of Krampus tales that all seem to tie together in the end. With that said, I really enjoyed reading it! 5/5 stars from me. Both on plot, world building, and spice.

I really liked C.M Nascosta’s other works but this one just did not work for me. I didn’t like how most of the stories played out and got bored by the 3rd story. The cover is pretty though!

I was so excited to read this book, but it took me forever to read it.

The first story was genius. Santa‘s Christmas workspace has turned into some sort of Amazon/Wish warehouse factory, so his elves and the other seasonal creatures were forced to engage in sex work. This was such a funny and unexpected take on the subject and I was totally down for that.

But already the second story with another setting and another (female) character bored me deeply. It also quite felt like a repetition of the first chapter.

The third one was quite interesting, because Nessa was a true unapologetic villain and I always enjoy evil characters.

I skimmed number 4 and was close to DNF the whole thing around 75%. Didn’t help that I completely disliked Krampus‘s character in the beginning.

I skimmed over the last story, but when I saw it was
about Dara again, I had to read it and I‘m glad I did. I wish the book had only been about them.

Too much

Im all down for fetishes and smut and alternative interests but this was just…too much.
Thank God they’re short stories because endless activity of this nature trying to disguise itself as a full novel would have been entirely too much.
Not a fan of the questionable consent element but the writer has a good style that really makes the fantasy/modern blend that more believable.
Not one j would recommend or share but it is what is if you’re into this sort of thing

I should start by saying that this is a set of short stories with Krampus as the main lead in all of them and he enjoyed being the main focus let me just say 😉

I had read another book from the author and knew to expect a fun and steamy time and I did. True to Krampus, Nascosta wrote in a darker vein which never having read anything featuring Krampus, I was at first a little lost but got into the swing of it pretty soon as he's all about the naughty kids... or adults as the case is here.

This was a weird novella. At first, I thought this was five separate short stories about Krampus. But, after getting to chapter three, I realized that all the "parts" of the story are about the same Krampus. They are different stories of Krampus' krampusnacht nights. Some of the stories do have the same heroine, others do not. And apparently this is to be continued. I don't know when; I don't see any other Krampus books by this author coming out anytime soon. For a novella I was pretty bored, which worries me as this is my first CM Nascosta. Not sure if I will be picking up this author again.

Chapter 1. Santa's Workship, or: A Good Girl's Lament- Heroine was collateral damage in a previous krampusnacht. Now, she can't think of anyone but Krampus.

Chapter 2. The Sub, or: Krampus Meets His Match- Different heroine. She enjoys some pain while feeling good.

Chapter 3. The Stroke of Midnight, or: A Well-Mannered Host- Different heroine, and is going to be getting so much more than a simple punishment.

Chapter 4. Mele Kalikimaka, or: The Vacation- Krampus takes a vacation- or tries to, until a different heroine decides she wants to be punished.

Chapter 5. And To All A Goodnight, or: A Good Girl's Triumph- Krampus and

Favourite quote: “Everyone is someone, liebchen. If we weren’t, then everyone would be no one.”

This really did nothing for me. Yes, it had bite, but absolutely no tension or spark behind it, which is kind of wild considering the entire premise is “Krampus shows up to punish you in delightfully filthy ways.” I adore noncon and dubcon when they’re done well, but this was just… joyless. Krampus came off as an ass instead of intimidating or enticing, and none of the scenes landed on a heat level. I kept waiting for something to grab me and it just never happened.

What made the reading experience even worse was the paragraph structure. Or rather, the lack of paragraph structure. It wasn’t choppy, it simply wasn’t there. It felt like reading a block of text that occasionally paused long enough to pretend it was erotic, and when monster smut starts feeling like homework, you know it’s a lost cause. I shouldn’t be checking how many pages are left in something this short.

Overall, this was a struggle to finish. The characters were bland, the sex scenes were flat, and the whole anthology dragged despite being tiny. Definitely not for me.
