This storybook came to me by accident, but I don’t mind because I got a very tasteful, cute tale with wonderful illustrations that light up the hearts even on the harsh days.
The volume was published in the care of the Manó books in my country. A real, tattered little Christmas tale that can be enjoyed not only by the little ones, but also by the bigger ones, as we never grow out of us and sometimes even adult souls need a handful of charms, which the volume gives in its entirety. Ella and the Magic of Winter is a richly illustrated, beautiful edition inside and out. Not only the cover dazzles the eyes, but the interior as well. I’m sure it won’t just be a one-time-reading book, as I’d love to read it to my kids as well and pass on my love for Christmas through it. The writer not only writes about Ella, but as a real value she highlights the real reality of the holiday, that love is the most important thing in the world, and she does it in a way that is acceptable to children. Full of charm, kindness and heart-warming sentences. We also get a short list by which we can start preparing for the holiday and if we don’t have an idea yet, it also provides a recipe for the great day. Although I’m not my target audience, I enjoyed it and got a lovable story. Sitting in front of the fireplace with tea in hand, he perfectly establishes the mood and sucked in a minute with his childhood and kindness.

n questo dolcissimo albo, @corinne.giampaglia racconta la storia di Ella, una bambina che una mattina si sveglia nella sua casa circondata dalla neve e si sente un po’ triste, senza sapere il perché. Corre dalla mamma, la quale le consegna un libro della nonna che viene tramandato di generazione in generazione, dal titolo “Il sentiero del Natale. Il percorso per prepararsi al grande giorno.” Così inizia la sua avventura, insieme a Luce, sorella maggiore, e Eric, fratello minore.
❄️ Ci sono dei punti da rispettare per non arrivare impreparati:
1. Addobbare la propria casa;
2. Prepare i biscotti della nonna;
3. Festeggiare Santa Lucia;
4. Festeggiare il solstizio d’Inverno.
💫 Cosa succede, però, quando manca la stella di Natale sull’albero di famiglia? Ad Ella torna la tristezza, esce di casa per andare a cercare la stella mancante e fa un incontro che le cambierà la nottata. Grazie al suo nuovo amico orso e al Grande Abete, la piccola bambina tornerà a festeggiare l’incanto del Natale, a casa, insieme alla sua famiglia.
💧Sappiamo che in questo periodo dell’anno ci si può spesso sentire come la protagonista di quest’albo. Le luci e le feste portano il famoso “Christmas Blues”, di cui vi avevamo parlato anche nella nostra ultima NL, però si può sempre provare a chiudere gli occhi ed immaginare, come fa Ella, folletti, lepri, volpi, cervi e gufi che ci aiuteranno a trovare la risposta per affrontare questo periodo nel migliore dei modi.

Un bellissimo libro da leggere durante il periodo natalizio per ritrovare la magia del Natale. Ella una bambina annoiata dal fatto che nevica riceve dalla sua mamma un libro sul Natale ed i vari passaggi per vivere il periodo che lo precede.Seguendo i vari passi per vivere la magia delle feste si ritrova in un sogno in cui parla con gli animali esattamente come succedeva in passato e ritrova la stella di Natale che si era persa.
