I joined Kindle Unlimited for $0.99 for three months. Now back to the series and authors I have missed.
Sage Parker series are some of my favorites and this one is wonderful.
Sarah is working on the east coast when she gets a phone call that her mom has died. She takes a leave of absence and travels to California and the resort on the coast. There she starts uncovering things that her mother kept secret. Continued in book 2.
I would recommend this series and author to reader of romantic relationships mystery novels. 2023 👒😀🏖
Wow, what a great beginning to the Search For Truth Series. Sarah will take you on an emotional journey as she deals with her mother's sudden death. Life choices are always easy and she must choose from her beloved career or running the resort that was the fruit of her mother's hard work. Secrets and mysteries emerge as Sarah ventures forward. She meets a handsome stranger named Tyler in the airport bar and invites him to stay at the resort. This book was a page turner and can't wait to see what happens next. Well written with an engaging plot and likable characters. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
I love the new series that Sage Parker has started. Sara gets a call from her grandmother telling her that her mother died in an accident. She hurries home to help her grandmother. Sara makes an unexpected friend in the airport and invites him to accompany her to the resort. I can't wait to read the next book! Once again the author has your attention and anticipation for the next book in this new series. This new series is very intriguing and definitely wants you to continue reading. It’s about a young woman, Sarah Edwards, who is happy with her job working with whales as a biologist and not so happy with her current boyfriend. She receives a call from her grandmother that her mother has passed away and she needs to come back to California at her mothers resort to help with things. Her mother’s death is suspicious and she heads to California. While at the airport she meets a man, Tyler, and for some reason has a connection with him. He has no plans and after Sarah asks him if he would like to join her and come to the resort with her at no cost, he says yes. Seems strange someone would ask another person they just met to basically come and stay at their house. When they get to the resort they start digging around to see if her mother left anything to help her with the running of the resort and what was going on. Of course, the author left you hanging big time but it’s great to know the next part of the series will be coming soon.
This is the first book in the Last Resort on the Coast which features Sarah Edwards, a cetologist, who breaks up with her boyfriend (Kevin) upon hearing the news of her mother’s death and heads home to California to her family owned resort. While waiting for her flight she meets Tyler Simeon and invites him to stay at the resort as he is actively trying to cheer her up after hearing of the death of her mother. Tyler travels home with her and supports her through her transition process of being responsible for the resort. They find information which points Sarah to treasure known as the King’s Gem which is hidden at the resort. There are additional secrets Sarah and Tyler find as well. This book is a fantastic introduction to this series.

Sara Edwards' mother owns and runs a resort. Her mother has died in a motor vehicle collision and Sara's grandmother wants her to come home right away.
Sara's boyfriend, doesn't seem to sympathic that Sara's mother as died. He is only thinking that Sara is now a millionaire so to speak as she will inherit the inn/resort.
Sara no longer wants to be with her boyfriend and has told him so in so many words, but he is not listening.
While Sara is at the airport she meets Tyler ad a friendship blossoms. He accompany Sara to her home town.
When Sara looks through her mother's office, she finds documents that confuse her but her and Tyler begin unravelling the mystery,
A tantalizing beginning After receiving a completely unexpected phone call that her mother had suddenly passed away Sarah heads to the airport. She meets Tyler at the bar, and they end up going there together. Not having visited her mother’s (now her) resort in years she doesn’t know what to expect. She has lots of questions about how her mother died and how she will handle the management of the super successful resort. What will happen with Tyler? What will happen with the resort? What caused her mother’s death? So many questions to be answered. Can’t wait for the next book (as always)! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed this story very much as it is a great light read. This is a so I know it is going to be good, Sarah's grandmother calls to let her know she needs to come home because her Mom was in a car accident and didn't make it.She called her boyfriend Kevin. She had just told him her mother had died and he completely dismissed it . She tried to break up with him but he didn't seem to comprehend. She met Tyler at the airport and offered him a stay at the resort. They get to the Resort and she finds most of the staff the same. After she is there a couple of days she goes through her Mom's things and the mystery begins. A GOOD READ.
What a start to this new series! Sarah receives a call that her Mother has passed away. Sitting in a bar at the airport she meets Tyler and invites him to come to the resort with her. Sarah is a little overwhelmed at taking over the family's resort. Tyler is encouraging and offers a friendship that feels right to Sarah. Looking forward to the intriguing adventure. Love Sage Parker's books, already feel like Sarah and Tyler are old friends.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a fun series, but I really wish that these books were just longer and all in one or two instead of a hundred pages each and six total books. That is my biggest complaint about these books and the series. The characters are well written, the story is fun, albeit a bit unbelievable, but a good, fast read. I enjoyed the story and kept reading, but each book is a cliffhanger for the next one in the series. They should be read in order to understand what is happening.
I hope that Sarah, Ty and Rodney find what they are looking for!! Read on to see....
I enjoyed this first part of the story. Sarah is called back to the family resort after the death of her mother. She uses the opportunity to break up with her boyfriend Kevin. So far so good. She meets Tyler at the airport and offers him an all expenses paid trip to her family’s resort. A little odd but I’ll roll with it.
What a great start for a new series. Sage knows how to capture her readers with her writing and keep them turning the pages wanting more. The story pulls you in and keeps you glued to the pages to find out what will happen next. The characters are well developed making them easy to get to know, realistic and easy to relate to.

Just finished book 1 of The Last Resort on the Coast. Great beginning to a series. Sarah Edwards is trying to be strong, but also needs to find out answeres as to what exactly happened to her mother. She meets Tyler at the aurport and she invites him to come and stay at her mother's resort. From there the plot starts to thicken. Sage Parker never disappoints her readers. On my way to another great read and mystery.
I have read the whole series before and liked it. Now couple years later I’m reading the book series again. It has a young lady whose mom just passed away and she has to head back home. She broke up with a guy she didn’t care about and met someone at the airport to be her friend through this journey. And there’s a mystery that her mother left her to find. Can’t wait to read the next book. I just this series was on audiobooks.
This is the first book in another series by Sage. There is mystery and intrigue in this story. I like that it is a short read. Even though it ends with a cliff=haner, you don't have to wait very long to find out what happens.

This is book 1 in the series and it is sure to please. Very quick read and some interesting characters. I love the beach setting and the idea of a sprawling oceanfront resort. The mystery and adventure are only beginning. I can’t wait for book 2 to see what happens

Sage does it again! She is such a talented writer. The premise of this book is a tad outlandish, but maybe I'm just not the type of person who would ever invite someone I barely know to my old childhood stomping grounds. I do enjoy the characters so far!

A new adventure to enjoy by Sage Parker. Sarah and Tyler are fun characters and Sarah is sent on a treasure hunt by a letter left to her by her late mother. Can't wait to see what surprises are in store. Enjoying this series already and so excited to read more.

This was a great beginning to a new series. It has you wondering what is going to happen. The mystery begins and I am looking forward to reading the next book to see where it goes.
What a great start to a series! Sarah and Tyler are wonderful characters. A lot of adventure and mystery in this story. I love the oceanfront resort and beach setting. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Sarah has a nice life for herself as a marine biologist when her mother passes away unexpectedly and she is expected to take over the family resort. On her way there she meets a friendly man that she invites along on her journey.
Sarah has just received news her mother has died in a car accident and her Grandmother needs her to come home and run the family resort. She breaks up with her boyfriend and heads home. She meets up with Tyler at the airport, and invites him to come along for the trip.
This little glimpse into the ongoing story fascinating. The characters are interesting and relate well. The mystery surrounding the letters will e fun to continue reading as the books continue.
Really hard to believe. Breaks up with boyfriend. Meets a guy in a bar and invites him to stay at her big luxury resort for free. Dangerous decision! The story continues from there. I’m skeptical but will continue you read the series. It’s free and I’m stuck without a book.
Circumstances arrive that dramatically change Sarah’s life. Her mother’s death, unexpectedly making a new friend, learning more about her mother and the beginning of an adventure all contribute to a new life. Looking forward to reading what comes next.
This was a very good beginning to a mystery with lots of characters involved that are unique in their own right. Sarah has lost her mother through a tragic accident…but was it truly an accident?
