Courage. Honor. Integrity. Loyalty. Perseverance. Duty. These are some of the qualities embodied by the men and women of the team known as the Wild Hunt, as well as those who associate with it. They come from all walks of life and all over the world. Their common goal, to protect us from the things that go bump in the night. The Wild Hunt faces the things that shouldn’t exist. Monsters that haunt our worst nightmares. Things that prove we’re not at the top of the food chain anymore. Maybe, we never were. These stories are a glimpse into the lives of these people. Between their missions, these stories give us a deeper understanding of the men and women of the Wild Hunt. Answer the call. Join the Hunt.

Loved these shorts. I can never get enough of the Wild Hunt and all the teams. Have all the books and read them all. Still hoping for more hint hint. Truly this really is some seriously well crafted military cryptid stories. If you haven't read the series give it a try. You will quickly get hooked.
Book had 4 separate storys. I'd give the first and last 5 Stars each. Both had a lot of interaction with the beasts especially the last one which was very exciting. The two short stories in the middle I'll give 2 stars each and that's being generous. They were actually boring no excitement at all. Overall 4 Stars, 5 of you skip the middle two. 😉
As usual the book was too short! Love all the Wild Hunt Books and their characters!! This one did fill in a few a few areas between his previous books!
This is my favorite of the Wild Hunt series, which I think every time I read one. Definitely want to see more of Mr. Lilly, Matches and Jedidiah. It was good to see more of Sheriff Amanda Sanchez Clark as well as Clark.
Really enjoying the varies series of Cryptid encounters by DA Roberts. This one feels like chapters that were cut from other books to preserve pacing. Still good to read and enjoy and to fill some character back history.
I haven’t read one of these books I haven’t enjoyed. I have learned so much about so many different things and enjoy learning about the cryptids and the characters. Grayeagle is amazing in this story.
As usual Im sad when I finish one of his books. I think I have read everyone of them so now I have nothing to read. The stories are so good that I forget everything else for awhile. Glorious reading
Excellent book of 4 novellas and short stories that will deepen your understanding of some of the characters. My favorites are Operation Lilly, which is a totally new story and Dog Soldier which is backstory on Will Greyeagle.
