enjoyable prequel

Good well written quick read. The mystery made logical sense and it’s a great introduction to why the MC and her mother are headed to the Keys. It gives glimpses of the relationship between the two and their history and why they would like to leave their small hometown when they do. Look forward to reading more in the series

I really enjoyed this seasonal short murder mystery. I knew it I'd like it because I read the Mattie and Mo prequel earlier this year by the author and really liked that too. This is gonna make a great series! I hadn't quite guessed whodunit, and that was a good showdown, go Shelby! Can't wait to see when the new series debuts. Shelby and her mom make a fun duo!

Who killed Mr. Oglethorpe and why??? ALWAYS keep the pepper spray handy??? I enjoyed this story and recommend the book.
