Honestly speaking, never have I ever had enjoyed my university textbook as if I am reading a novel. I know it is kind of obvious if I enjoy this since I am that passionate about food nutrition. Both content and style of writing are true page-turners, moreover, I have been interested with food nutrition ever since I was in Junior High School. Thus, some terms are familiar already. Reading this book makes me fully determined that Food Science and Nutrition is my lifetime passion, and ignites me to study such major for my future master degree. Love this book to pieces!
This was mainly a good book. It was quite heavy-going in places. I found some of the information apparently contradictory which was disappointing for a scientific textbook but it did have many contributors.
