My name is Quinn Renshaw, and my father is the VP of the Savage Falls Sinners MC.
But I refuse to be a club princess.
I want more from life. I want to graduate and go to college and spread my wings. I want a life beyond Savage Falls and club life.
Until him.
Killian Crankton, VP of the Red Ridge Reapers.
He looks at me and I feel things. Things I don’t want to feel. Dangerous, deadly things. Things that will end up with my heart in tatters.
Because I’m about to find out that Crank will do anything to get wants he wants.
Especially me.
CRANK is an age gap, opposites attract crossover story set in the Sinners MC world but it can be read as a standalone. If possessive, tattooed, motorcycle-riding alphaholes aren't your thing, you probably won't like this book!
I didn’t realize the FMC was in high school before I picked this book up. If I did, I wouldn’t have read it since high school romances aren’t my thing. Especially when there’s spice in the book like this one. ESPECIALLY, when the MMC is nearly 10 years older.
The book itself felt very juvenile along with all the characters. Typical main characters using other people to make each other jealous and a lot of angst with no real reason for it. It was very annoying especially when they didn’t build a connection between the two before getting into all of that.
Crank also just came off as a creepy asshole… When he tried to get into her pants -while she’s drunk might I add- and she turns him down because he told her he just needs to get her out of his system and that’s not what she wants, he then has a tantrum, and throws another woman in her face the next chance he gets. And that is not the first time either. There were many other instances that did not help his case either. Like fingering her but stoping before she could finish and then making her believe he went off to have sex with someone else.
He also stalks her outside her HIGH SCHOOL and a lot of there interaction just felt very predatory. As I’ve said, he’s practically 10 years older than her. He even noted that he realized his actions were creepy and how he shouldn’t feel this way for a girl. Yes, he even notably calls her a girl because she isn’t a woman as she is still in high school! Just because a character knows it’s creepy and that he shouldn’t be doing these things, doesn’t give him a pass to the continue to do them… I even had to skim their sex scene because it was just too uncomfortable for me.
Putting all that aside, the writing was decent but that was maybe the only good thing. I found there to be not much plot, even just a character based one. It is only 180 pages or so but I know of a ton of books that are that length or shorter and can pull it off. I think this could have been a fun little story if they focused on how they got together, building their relationship, and cut all the pointless OW/OM drama.
I can’t overlook these issues I had with the book and therefore, I can’t give it higher than a one star. This book may go over better with possibly a younger audience than me being 23 years old and past the high school era.
I’m so happy that this is available on its own!!! I read this in Brutal Boys on Devils Night and absolutely loved it!!! Crank is, oh boy, all alpha yummy goodness 🤤. To say I fell for him is an understatement. He was swagger personified. Crude, funny, loyal and hot AF. He might me slightly older than Quinn, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to get her attention. When a man knows what he wants he doesn’t stop until he gets it. And what this delicious man wants is one biker princess by the name of Quinn or who he lovingly calls his Sunshine. But Quinn doesn’t do bikers. Heck no! She’s all about being someone’s number one ☝️ and doesn’t want to take backseat to anyone or anything, especially a man that has a notch post a mile long. But what Quinn isn’t privy to is that Crank aka Killian, can’t get her out of his head and until he can finally get a taste, no one else is going to suffice. The push and pull is so good!!! He’s got his work cut out for him, because Quinn has standards and even though he’s all so tempting she’s not gonna give in that quickly. For once in his life he’s gonna have to work for it. And work he does. Lemme tell y’all, it’s so good. I’m still fanning myself just remembering all the ways he tries to win this girl over. Lol!!! I love how hard-headed Quinn is. She really is his equal in so many ways. And their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥. Seriously my favorite coupling from this series. There’s no cheating obviously, but there’s OW drama. A club groupie who Crank slept with months earlier wants another taste and more, but who can blame her? Crank is addicting and this chick is a handful. But the different ways he tries to avoid this woman gives this story a bit more comedic relief. Crank is pretty funny and I very much enjoyed his POV. Anyway, this is supposed to be what happens after Sever and a prequel to River’s story in Ruin. And man, that lead up has me chomping at the bit to get my hands on!!! Can’t wait! This one is definitely reread worthy because their desire for each other and the eventual relationship development leads to a pretty satisfying HEA. Read it!!! It’s good.
Age gap... Quinn and Killian (aka Crank). Quinn swore off bikers... she has her goals that do not have anything to do with the club. Killian has his eyes set on her and makes it known rather quickly! Makes sure she knows he's watching her before he snatches her!
I started with this book because it is the first in the series...except it's not. Not really. The first 2 chapters are spent catching you up on everything you missed in what I assume is another mc series. I don't know why authors do this. Just continue on with one series instead of starting a new one! Or include a blurb saying that this series continues on from another. So annoying! I hate starting a book and feeling like I'm missing something!
“There’s only one who’s been in my bed. In this house. And she’s exactly where she belongs.”
Oof! Well if Killian Crankton isn't just the sexiest bad boy biker who ever lived?
Quinn is absolutely insane to hold out on him for so long! If it were me, I'd melt into a puddle at his feet as soon as he looked my way! Crank is possessive, protective and just pure perfection! I knew this man would slay me!
'This house is mine. My sanctuary. The only women who’ve been here before are my aunt and Kat. And now Quinn. My ray of sunshine.'
Crank is the prequel to the Red Ridge Sinners MC series, preceding Ruin and following the Savage Falls Sinners MC Series, Savage, Sacrifice, Sacred and Sever.
All the characters are intertwined but this can be read as a standalone.
Crank is a standalone novella set in the Red Ridge Sinner MC world.
If you’re looking for a quick read that is teeming with chemistry, a possessive, dirty-talking biker, and a sassy heroine, with a tension filled push and pull that builds up to explosive steam, then look no further.
If you've read the previous books, you'll know that the chemistry between her and Crank was there from the moment they laid eyes on each other. She’s so determined that the life she grew up in wasn’t what she wanted that she continuously pushes Killian away, which quickly turns into a form of foreplay between them.
Crank (Killian) thought that all he needed was a night with Quinn to get her out of his system, but that one night led to an all-out addiction to the girl that was determined to keep him at a distance.
If you’ve been eyeing Dare’s MC series but haven’t taken the plunge, this is the perfect place to start. You get a small glimpse of both MCs along with the dynamics between the characters.
Killian is a dirty-talking biker mixed with a swoony alpha. As soon as he realizes how strong the connection between him and Quinn is, he pulls out all the stops to make sure she comes to the same conclusion.
Crank offers the perfect blend of off-the-chart chemistry, a sassy heroine, a dirty talking alpha, and a tension filled push and pull between them that leads to explosive steam.
Crank is book 1 in the Red Ridge Sinners MC Series. Or a prelude or something heck it’s Quinn’s story from The Savage Falls Sinners MC Series. Man so good. The fact that Quinn has fought being a part of the Sinners sins birth pretty much made this so much sweeter. Everything thing she never wanted, with a “Big, Dirty, Tattooed Biker” was so utterly scrumptious, I literally devoured every word. I’ve loved the whole series but I just knew Quinn’s story would be epic. The fall so much sweeter than falling for an MC. But Quinn falling for Killian…now that was a sight to see..or read…now to convince Micky it’s a good idea…whew…glad I’m not Crank. Even in his current condition, I bet he could take him lol. Don’t wait peeps this age gap is one for the ages lol.
Quinn, princess to the Savage Falls Sinners MC and daughter to the VP. Crank, VP to the newly established chapter, the Red Ridge Sinners MC.
The heat between these two was started in the author's prior series that followed Sadie, Quinn's best friend.
While this is in the same world of the authors to series encompassing these MCs, The other two are reverse harems while this is an age gap standalone romance novella with just the right amount of steam. Plus, it's the prequel to the series author is planning on doing for the Red Ridge Sinners. So a little bit of everything, the storyline ends moving right into Rivers' reverse harem storyline.
Let me say that I am not a fan of slow burns and I almost stopped reading because when the two lead characters do too much volleying back and forth it’s not enjoyable to me as the reader. Quinn, the lead female, was all about deny, deny, and avoiding her feelings for Crank. Luckily it wasn’t a long read and the couple does come together but it’s almost at the end. It’s light and not heavy in the MC topics or violence. This book is more about the two clubs trying to rebuild and their families. Characters are like able and funny at times. Read On!
Age Gap and Enemies to Lovers! I LOVED Crank & Quinn’s story!!! Their chemistry was off the charts! Quinn tried her hardest to resist Crank but with the way big bad biker takes what he wants and he wants Quinn, she can only hold out for so long.
I mentally cheered when they finally got together and I totally swooned when he went to Micky. Turns out Crank aka Killian has a romantic side that Quinn has brought out of him.
This novella made me miss Sadie and her boys but it also has me so ready for River’s story.
This quick novella had me turning those pages as quick as I could read them. Crank is so delicious. I think I just found a new book boyfriend to add to my ever growing collection. I enjoyed the pace of this story, while it was shorter than other books from this author, it was paced where it wasn't too fast but also not too slow with the romance and heat.
This story is sexy and quite addicting. Crank's dirty mouth had me swooning all over the place. I just love him!
Finally Crank and Quinn’s story. Ever since we got a glimpse of their chemistry from the third book of Savage Falls Sinner I knew they’d end up together. Wow their story is HOT and STEAMY. There’s is no denying their attraction except that they both tried. It’s a forbidden romance, age gape romance, and even a enemies to lovers romance. Which means a lot of angst and explosive amazing sex. Can’t wait to see how this series continues with River’s story.
I’m so into Killian and Quinn I’m a little shook that I only got this small look into their world. I am super excited now to see see where the rest of the Red Ridge series takes us but I feel like I need more of these two. They worked so hard to get to where they are, even if Quinn fought like the tough bitch she is to stay away. Beautifully written and very well put together and left me wanting more of all of the gang!! Up their with my highest recommendations!
Crank and Quinn had that undeniable chemistry in Savage Falls Sinner and this book was exactly what we needed for them. Crank was definitely a character favourite of mine from the series and I’m so glad he got his own story.
Quinn is that sassy, knows what she wants in life kind of girl and Killian is the biker she shouldn’t want.
Quinn is nothing short of a spoiled brat, who believes that she is better than everyone else. Her blood is the MC but she treats the members like dirt. Being a senior in highschool, that's the worst part for me. This a YA MC romance. Crank is a perverted older man who only is getting it up for the barely 18yr highschool girl.
Ever since Killian "Crank" Crankton laid eyes on Quinn he's wanted her, but she's barely eighteen and still in high school. Plus Quinn keeps saying she doesn't have any interest in a biker. This is a great read and to find out if Quinn gives in to what they both desire start reading it now!!
This book is the first in the Red Ridge Sinners #1 and is a quick novella read before you start Ruin. This book is a prequel to the start of the series. This book is a reverse harem romance book and a MC romance read, which i love.
Crank just wanted to stop thinking about Quinn and he was willing to do anything to get her out of his system but the more that he tried to stay away from her the more he wanted her. Quinn also wanted to resist him because she didn't want to date a biker. Quinn is younger and still in school and was a very mouthy sassy young lady who still has a lot to learn in the world she lives in.
The characters had a lot of chemistry together and there was a lot of back and forth, will they wont they going on with each other, and there is a little age gap difference between them. These two MC clubs are rebuilding and I feel like this quick read was more about the clubs coming together through a tough situation and seeing where they both stand and the romance is very slow burn between both Quinn and Crank. The next book in this series is Ruin and is out now.
I started reading ur MC series and at first I really liked them. I have read them all and this by far was the best. The first series started off good but became repetitive and the heroine became a stage 5 clinger that made me cringe. River’s series, Ruin, omg so bad. I started it because she was supposed to be innocent then all of a sudden she became a porn star. I like reverse harem but geez. The only reason I tried to finish it was to find out what happened to Jax which was the best part and you totally didn’t even elaborate on what happened to him so I gave up. The second book could’ve been cut in half and paired with the third one and it would’ve been the same story. Also, Zach is a first class douche. He never actually apologized for how he treated River once he found out she was forced, and you put her in exactly the same situation with the guys right after they found out. Kinda made me lose respect for her.
So, yeah, Kill and Quinn, totally my favorite and it’s sucks it was so short.
In general I have a problem with age gap books where the h is really young. I don't like when the H has watched her grow up, because I feel like he's a bit of a pedophile. And I don't like feeling as if an innocent is being groomed or taken advantage of.
I didn't here. Crank only met Quinn recently. Although Quinn is only 18 and still in high school, she's no innocent virgin. She's streetwise and she's grown up in the MC.
But there's nothing dark about this book. Although it's about an MC, there's no MC activity within, although there are references to dark events in the recent past.
This teeny book was okay for what it is.
My problem with it is WHAT it is. It's merely a quick introduction to a new series. It reads, and ends more like a serial. Very unsatisfying.
The next book in the series is longer and I suspect it will be more in depth, but does that mean I am going to chance reading it to find out? Unlikely.
Quinn has always known that she wanted more than the Sinners MC. She was raised in it just like her cousin Sadie Ray was, but unlike Sadie, she planned to go away as soon as graduation happened. There were no plans for a biker boyfriend, ever. That is until she laid her eyes on Crank. Crank was the VP of the now Red Ridge Sinners and held that playboy/bad boy title well. There was no mistaking how Crank felt and Quinn wanted nothing to do with that. As Quinn became better friends with Kat and spent time with her and River she would see Crank more often. Crank loved the chase and expected that once he finally got Quinn it would be over. Quinn would fit tooth and nail to keep her distance until her resolve just gave up. After one hot night she ran, even if that was tough to do. Will these two ever figure out what they wanted is the other or are they done after that night?
Yea no. Killian only really like Quinn for her body and the amount of comments he made about her body show that. Very litterly was said about her as a person other then that she a bitch for not wanting to participate in club life. Mind you club life is what got her dad shot and stuck in a wheelchair. Also the way killian flaunted Lucy was sickening and so disrespectful. How are you gonna claim to like one girl and want her but be all sexual with another girl. It doesn’t make sense. Also Quinn friends were trash to me and so was her cousin. They all tried to clown on her for not wanting to give into her feelings for killian when he showed her multiple times that he lacks basic respect for women. The only saving grace was that this book was short.

This surprise release absolutely gave me a heart attack.
I was in a slump after finishing the Savage Falls Sinners MC series but then when this dropped I was like oh no…I need this.
Crank is about Quinn (who was in the Savage Falls Sinners MC series) and Killian Crank. From the moment they met there was chemistry. Except, Quinn kept denying it. She never planned to stay around the club or even shack up with one of the members. She just wanted normalcy.
However, Crank was persistent and Quinn couldn’t deny him. It’s a slow burn with an age gap. There are a lot of steamy scenes and angst. This novella made me excited for River’s book but also made me miss Dane, Wes, Rhett and Sadie.
I did not finish this book. The reason being I just could not get past the fact she was only seventeen. As a mother of a two daughters this just came off as really creepy. If the writer would have only made her older. Quinn was really off putting with all the defensive and mouthy talk, I didn't care for her attitude.
I did like Crank, I thought he had character and would have loved to see him with someone more his age. So, For that reason I gave the book three stars. I liked him, and it could have been a great storyline, I simply could not get past her being seventeen.
I knew going into this one that it was a novella which usually means the story will be rushed. The story nor the age gap bothered me. What brought down my rating was the whole “make him jealous” situations that Quinn kept throwing out there. Yes, she was 18 but she came a-crossed as a very immature 18. I was hoping for more from her character. Also, as stated earlier, this was a novella so the story was rushed….but it just seemed to end. I’m hoping we will see more of these two in the Red Ridge Sinners series and hopefully see Quinn grow up a bit.
So I really liked this and really didn't at the same time. One I didn't know it was a spin off of another series that I haven't read. So it references stuff that happened there. Also took forever to get to the good stuff. Felt like Killian did more than enough to land Quinn. She played way to hard to get. I love the age Gap. 10 years chefs kiss. The smut 🥵 ugh. Man so good. Felt like the end was a bit rushed. Once we finally got there I wanted a little more time with the couple as an actual couple. Iono I have mixed feelings with this one.

Decent book, good story for a novella. I’m ok with age gap but bothered me she was still in high school, and seemed like she was just starting her senior year. Perhaps it would have been different if she was at the end. Just felt like they both acted like teens trying to make the other jealous by using other people. And the quick resolution that her father just was ok with them dating kind of bothered me as well. But still decent read.
