The things said in her part were so good that I was sometimes highlighting the whole page. It was like I was reading my own mind and honestly it was kinda sad that that was the case.
It was a lovely short read, it was repetitive but was what I needed to hear in the moment. I spent an hour finishing it outside in the sunlight. Very motivational for someone struggling to leave a situation.
i got gifted this by my bestfriend on my birthday and she annotated it and it was so cute. took me ages to read bc i lowkey forgot about it but there was really good quotes (?) in there :)
I liked some of the poems… unfortunately this was more a collection of repetitive positive affirmations about respecting yourself and not staying in a relationship with an a-hole.
A quick reread. This book was what I needed the first time I read it, but not all of it I could hear. Rereading it in a much different place than the first time and for that I’m thankful ✨
only read section one because I don’t like the other poet. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like one essay was divided into different parts. Very similar and repetitive.
