Furry Friends Forever: Elmo and Tango leans into pure sweetness. A simple, upbeat story about Elmo and his dog, Tango, that focuses more on warmth and companionship than plot. It’s the kind of book that feels instantly familiar if you’ve spent any time with Sesame Street.

It’s not trying to be laugh‑out‑loud funny or deeply meaningful; it’s simply a cheerful little story about a kid and his dog, and it works because it stays true to that simplicity.

Story is convoluted and not summarized well from the movie. Somehow too long yet left too much out. My toddler is obsessed with the movie but we just ignore the words in this book since it doesn't match super well.

She still loves reading the book and flipping through it on her own since she can't read yet lol >.<

Elmo takes in a stray dog without checking if she’s chipped. Theres a sadder version of this story of muppets looking for their stolen puppy, but five stars anyway. 5/5 would pet Tango.
