Hope and two things that everyone needs to survive—but the words take on a different meaning in the form of a set of twins who attend Crockett University in Washington, D.C.
Soror Ride 'em High and Soror Lick 'em Low, originally hail from Atlanta and, like most twins, they share a connection. In fact, their physical bond is so strong, that one can often feel a pounding while the other is engaged in sexual activity. But everything is not perfect when it comes to being a twin. Sometimes animosity and jealousy can creep in; especially when Hope and Faith find themselves both attracted to the same man on campus. Is blood really thicker than water? Or, in this case, thicker than basic carnal desires?
In this long-anticipated second volume in the APF series, a follow-up to The Sisters of The Indoctrination of Soror Ride Dick , New York Times bestselling author Zane once again proves why she is the Queen of Erotic Fiction. Over the years many have tried to emulate her but Zane's imagination is not to be replicated any time in the near future. The freak nights of APF are some of the most artistic, exhilarating, erotic experiences that have ever graced the pages of a book; evidenced by the thousands of emails Zane has received over the years from women yearning to join the sorority. The sexual revolution continues within the pages of Head An APF Sexcapade.
Zane is the New York Times bestselling author of Afterburn, The Heat Seekers, Dear G-Spot, Gettin’ Buck Wild, The Hot Box, Total Eclipse of the Heart, Nervous, Skyscraper, Love is Never Painless, Shame on It All, and The Sisters of APF; the ebook short stories “I’ll be Home for Christmas” and “Everything Fades Away”; and editor for the Flava anthology series, including Z-Rated and Busy Bodies. Her TV series, Zane’s Sex Chronicles, and The Jump Off are featured on Cinemax, and her bestselling novel Addicted is a major motion picture with Lionsgate Films. Faith and Hope are freaky identical twin sisters and members of the notorious Alpha Phi Fuckem sorority. The novel opens at the APF convention, a gathering for the sexually uninhibited. Later, there’s Cyber Sex and other sexcapades at APF Freak Night. The concept of this event is so original and Zane is so explicit, my fingers (among other things) tingled as I turned the pages. One of the sorors, who goes by the name, Soror Twister, has some moves that male readers will want to experience and female readers will want to imitate.
Though the twins are enjoying numerous no-strings-attached sexcapades during their senior year at Crockett University, they end up breaking their “twin vow” when they become both sexually and emotionally attached to the same man. Faith and Hope meet their sexual match with Kevin, a man who puts it down with moves like, “The Pile Driver and Deep Impact…just to name a few. Is blood thicker than water or will this extraordinary dick drive the twins apart?
In this Quickiez, Zane lives up to her title of the reigning Queen of Erotic fiction. Head Bangers is an erotic romp with the kind of kinky sex that only Zane could come up with. There are some unexpected tender moments and a surprise ending. I read Head Bangers in one day. Couldn’t put it down!
Hope and Faith are twins. They are seniors at Crockett University in Washington, D.C. Hope majoring in Journalism. Faith majoring in Chemical Engineering. Although they may seem like good girls on the outside…they are two of the biggest freaks to hail from Atlanta.
They are both a member of the APF, where they are known as Soror Ride’em High and Soror Lick’em Low. Here they can release the inner freak and act out some of the wildest sexual fantasies that you can only imagine.
When Faith meets a handsome older man on campus she just knows she has to have him. The only thing is, she needs to keep the relationship a secret because of who the man is. Even keeping it a secret from her twin. Will Faith give up her sexual escapades with APF for her new man?
They say twins share everything. Does that include their men?
HEAD BANGERS by Zane was a definite 5 star read. Anytime you read a book by Zane be prepared to read some of the most imaginative sexual escapades ever. HEAD BANGERS is a page-turner to say the least. I would definitely recommend HEAD BANGERS and the rest of the Strebor Quickez for those of you looking for a quick read.
The antics in this book are wild, but I forgot how wild Zane is. Good story for a short read, but baby Hope would get her tail whooped (and she did 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾). However, the revenge to the plot twist was too much for me. Cause why ruin a whole person’s career over cheating, but whatever 🙄

I thought this was a great mini book up until the ending. The book is so short (hence it's a quickie) so I understand that it had to end somewhat abruptly but it was not very realistic if you ask me. I am a sucker for a "love conquers all/happy romantic fairy tale ending" so to speak :( but more importantly I believe that there should have been more drama at the end (between the twins). Hope, hmm that girl. I didn't like her from the get go and Faith surenshouldn't have forgiven her so quickly! Twins definitely share a special bond, ESPECIALLY IN THIS BOOK since they can feel in their vaginas when the other is having sex so why didn't Faith know what was going on? Why couldn't she tell that Hope was lying straight to her face? The poor girl didn't have the slightest clue! I just KNEW that Faith would walk in on them but disappointedly it never happened. If their bond is sooo tight then why did they both keep secrets from each other? That kinda brought the book down in my opinion.
Anyway, all in all it is a good quick read. Just read it so you can say that you've read all of Zane's books :)
*SPOILER ALERT*
In an effort not to give away too many details I didn't say all I wanted to say about this book so I am going to put up a spoiler warning and do it here for those of you interested. First of all I personally think the book would have been much juicer if Kevin was unsuspecting instead of the mastermind behind this mess. I also would have LOVE to read about Hope coming clean to Faith or if Faith possibly found out what was going on because the pounding in her vagina when Hope was sexing Keith was just WAY too familiar and then proceeded to kick her butt instead of at a gas station where neither one of them seemed to win the fight. I think it blows that Faith took a job in the middle of no where while trifling Hope got an awesome one in LA, that she is separated from her twin (if she was still pissed it would have sat better with me), that there is no current APF chapter in her new state, and lastly that she is manless. I would have liked for it have ended happily for her, because unlike Hope she is willing to love and be loved.
Love ya Zane, and in no way do I think I could have written this book any better. Just throwing in my two cents.
Hope and Faith are twins that go to the Crockett University in Washington, D.C. They belong to the sorority called Alpha Phi Fuckem. Hope and Faith (Soror Ride 'Em High and Soror Lick 'Em Low) and the other people in these sororities are freaky with a capital F. In the beginning of the book there was a convention. Everyone had to bring a playmate. They went to a private casino in the hotel and got to cash in their chips for sexual favors from the person of their choice. Then they had APF Freak Night in their dorm room. The men went upstairs to their laptops and the women were downstairs. They had virtual sex. The women got to control the men's vibrating thongs and the men got the controls to the women's vibrators. Then they got to meet up after the men all blew their loads.
Faith meets Kevin at the college. She starts to fall for him. He is an older man and just what Faith wants. He has the moves and seems to have a "magical dick". Seems as though she is not the only one who thinks his dick is magical.
This was a quickie that's for sure. I got through this book in no time. If you like your sex kinky and wonder what the Sorer Twister can do (I had to re-read this part to figure out how she did it), then go and pick this book up. This is one you will want to buy and keep on hand if you are feeling in the mood for a quick erotic read. I was very surprised by the ending and know now why Zane is the erotica Queen!
This was my first read by this author. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. Faith and Hope are identical twins, seniors in college, and members of APF-: Alpha Phi Fuckem Sorority. A sorority basically created to allow whores to feel justified in giving up nookie at every turn under the guise of being "sexually liberated". While the idea of the monthly 'free for all' sex orgies with random, nameless men might sound exhilirating on paper, I couldn't help but cringe at the thought of all the random, named juices and diseases that had to be flying all over the place.
However, once I got my brain to stop thinking rationally, I was able to really get into this book. Even though the book was very short, it felt like a full length novel because of the detail and depth of the characters.
I would recommend this book for anyone who has a taste for extreme erotica. I would not, however, recommend reading it outside the privacy of your own home. ;)
I couldn’t put it down. Faith & Hope is off the chain lol...this was the perfect spin off of sisters of APF it almost made me wanna join lol...too bad it’s only a book. Zane should right more books about different sisters of APF sorority.
“Headbangers” by Zane is the sequel to “The Sisters of APF” which Zane wrote in 2004. “Headbangers” focuses on twin sisters Hope and Faith who also members of the private APF sorority and the relationship drama they experience as seniors in college.
I first discovered Zane as a young woman looking who was looking for erotica written by black authors and featuring black people. Upon discovering Zane, I proceeded to by all of her books.
One of my favorite books by Zane is “The Sisters of APF” which is a novel about Mary Ann, a sexually repressed young woman from South Dakota who finds friendship and sexual liberation by joining an all female investment club which is also a secret club of sexual uninhibited and highly regarded professional successful women.
The novel begins with the Mary Ann, the main character from “The Sisters of APF,” looking for a date for the upcoming APF convention in Atlantic City. Mary Ann aka Soror Ride Dick is blunt about her sexual desires and is in desperate need to find a man for the upcoming weekend’s convention. After securing a playmate for the convention, fun times are had by all on the way to the convention as well as once they arrive in Atlantic City.
Hope and Faith Andrews are twenty-one year old college seniors from Atlanta now in Washington that have such a deep connection, that when one sister has sex, the other twin feels it. Their sisterly bond is tested when they both find themselves attracted to the same man.
August 2008 finds Faith aka Soror Ride ‘em High and Hope aka Soror Lick ‘em Low attending college in Washington, DC. As the girls arrive from Atlanta to the dorms in Washington, DC Faith is verbally annoyed with a fellow male college student who won't help them unload their car. Since Faith is blunt, she is viewed as bitter by guys while Hope openly flirts with guys and is viewed as sweet.
Hope says that Faith is playing a role since she is the one who said they should join APF. Hope says Faith is worried about where they’ll work after college since she majored in journalism while Faith majored in chemical engineering. Hope talks about there being two sides to Faith, obedient in front of parents but a hellion when away from them.
Hope is wanting to take a break from the monthly APF freak nights while Faith chides her for having sex with guys at their college. Faith seriously considers breaking her no sex with anyone on campus rule the first time she sees Kevin Nelson a guy walking with the college Vice President. After talking to the Vice President at lunch, she learns that Kevin is the new chief financial officer at the college. Faith decides not to mention her crush on Kevin to anyone and decides to purse him while Hope is out of town. Faith seduces Kevin in his office although he’s in his mid-forties and she's in her early twenties.
Hope knows that Faith is having sex with someone but does know who it is since she can feel it in her body. When she meets Kevin at a bar and he doesn’t realize that she’s not Faith, she decides not to tell him her real name.
Faith hides relationship with Kevin for two months. Keep relationship quiet because he has two adult sons and a ex-wife. Worries about age difference since Kevin is three years younger than her father. Taken off guard when Kevin asked if they got married how many kids does she want. Kevin asks if she is only with him for sex, Faith confesses that she thought that’s what they were but Kevin tells her otherwise.Kevin tells Faith that he loves her but tells her she doesn’t have to say it the same immediately.
Hope has problems with her friends with benefits Raheem and is picked up by Kevin. Hope is livid that Faith had broke her own rule about not having sex with a man on campus. Hope breaks her rule of having sex with the same man as Faith.
Faith is enjoying relationship with Kevin and begins to reconsider being in APF. Being with Kevin makes her feel guilty about continuing to participate in APF sexual activities with other men. When the twins go home for Thanksgiving after much asking from family, Faith tells dad about Kevin but decides to withhold Kevin's age.
Faith decides to introduce Kevin to family starting with Hope. Although Kevin expresses a strong desire to marry Faith, she is confused as to why Kevin wants to get married and she doesn’t want to be a statistic.
Hope keeps sleeping with Kevin despite knowing that he’s Faith’s man. She feels guilty about sleeping with her sister's man but rationalizes that if she doesn’t respond to his sexual behavior, she’ll be less guilty in the situation.
Eventually, Kevin calls Hope by her correct name and admits that he had a fantasy of having sex with twins and with Hope's help, he was able to fulfill his fantasy. After Kevin shows his true colors, the sisters decide to team up and turn the tables on him.
After the Kevin situation is resolved, the sisters have heart to heart convo over Kevin and Hope’s selfishness then have a fist fight ending with the police coming and them being arrested. Faith realizes that Hope didn’t mean to sleep with Kevin and is she's glad that Hope saved her from getting married to Kevin.
The novel ends in 2009, with both twins having graduated from college and being successful in their fields of chemical engineering and journalism. Since Faith is working and living in South Dakota, she reflects on how hard it was to make friends at work with no APF chapter but aims to start a chapter there while Hope is working and living in Los Angeles which has a thriving APF chapter.
As I finished this novel, it was interesting to learn the different specialties of each of the sorority sisters. I also enjoyed reading about the vivid descriptions of the sexcapades from members of each of the different chapters (Atlantic City, Nashville, Las Angeles, Miami, Detroit, Atlanta, and Chicago.) In closing, I enjoyed the development of the characters as well as the alternating chapters providing perspective from each of the twins.

Zane is a great author and I love all her books. Everytime I see Zane has a new book out I have to get it. I liked this one I have to say Zane keep coming back with more of her freakies plots ever.
Faith and Hope are twins that moved away to go to college they are also in APF where they have they little freak parties all over the USA whenever they can but, they also try to live a life as women going to college and having there ups and downs with men or may I say the same man.
Faith involves herself with Kevin she said, she wasn't going to talk to anyone at her college but, when she sees him she ends up changing her mind and ends up creaping around with him hidding everything for her twin Hope but, soon Hope finds out about Kevin but, things go wrong when Hope tries to be Faith in order to get near Kevin.
Great book Zane you did your thang keep up the great work. :)
I read almost all of Zane's work and was excited to see a new book that I had not yet ventured. While I was disappointed to see the book was a little over 100 pages it was still a good read none the less. Once again I found myself getting involved with characters and internally yelling at them for their stupid decisions.
I just wish now that the sequels for afterburn and shame on it all would be released.
It had been a while since I last read a Zane book but I had to read this continuation of one of her storylines from back in the day when I was reading her faithfully. I kind of dig these short stories/novellas or whatever this would be called, due to how I can fit it in during errands and such, but I think I wanted it to be longer to fit in a more dramatic ending. Other than that, it was enjoyable.
this book was amazing. it was funny and insightful. Zane is an awesome writer. can you say mouth opener??? because i was catching flies throughout the entire book.....lol. seriously, this was a great creation. she needs to add more to this set of APF novels.
Very good read. Definitely a quickie and worth the time to read. The twins were something else. The sorority was on a whole nother level. Zane never disappoints.
