Forbidden Claim is Isabelle's story. She's a shifter looking for a way out. Isabelle works at a school and lives with her boyfriend, Bram. To the outside world, everything looks dandy but Bram is controlling. He moved in with her without asking. He made a claim on her but doesn't treat her with respect. She wants out of the relationship but she knows he won't let her go. Slowly Isabelle forms a plan and takes action. Literally, piece by piece she takes her clothes and gets ready to leave.

Zane has been thinking about Isabelle ever since he laid eyes on her. He just needs to see her and get it out of his system. When Isabelle turns up on the doorstep wanting Damien's help, Zane can't believe his luck. The news she brings makes Zane jump at the chance to sacrifice himself for the greater good.

Zane and Isabelle's story is sexy, cheeky and fun. After her last relationship this is just what she needs, she just doesn't realise it yet.

We also get Bram's story and he's a nasty piece of work. He's a great villain to hate and I loved how this enhanced the story. We don't have to wait for his next move we can see his blood boiling.

Tegan and Reid had me laughing all the way. It's a friend to more romance but Reid wants the whole 9 yards. Tegan is only just starting to notice her feelings for Reid. These two are so much fun and a little crazy.

Quentin and Hunter started their story in Forbidden Addiction. Their romance is continued but not finished in this instalment.

I really enjoyed this book. It's fun and refreshing. Highly recommended 5 out of 5.

The blurb mentions only one couple, while the story inside is about three. 2 of them get a happy ending and I guess the third will get the sixth book. I was only happy with the last couple and I disliked the other two. Teagan and Reid are the second couple that gets a happy end and their story begins with Teagan having sex with another vampire. Isn't that the best way to begin a love story? And after she did the deed she cleaned up and slept (and I mean sleep, not sex) with Reid. It truly is wonderful. Not. That beginning basically ruined the whole book for me. They also took too much space and spotlight from the main couple and it made me feel like Zane and Isabelle were simply existing in the book and they were lacking the proper development. If you ask me, it wasn't the best idea to include the second and third romance because they stole the focus from the original plot-line aka Zane trying to save Isabelle from the abusive ex.

The continuation of Zane and Isabelle's story was a long time coming and so worth it. Leave it to Isabelle to get involved with scum like Bram because she can't admit her feelings for Zane, and it nearly costs Isabelle her life. Tegan and Reid were a happy surprise that Tegan didn't see coming. Of course it would be Ram that convinces Tegan to stop hiding from Reid and that she had nothing to worry about. Hunter needs to stop wasting time avoiding a real relationship with Quentin when neither one can stay away from the other. Especially in light of how fleeting life could be. Bram totally got what he deserved. I loved the whole Vegas story line and the airplane fun.

This is the fifth book in the Forbidden Series. I’m seriously addicted to this series - the whole series is a must read and I would strongly recommend reading them in order.

This story focuses on three couples and it was nicely done too. Sometimes it can become overwhelming when authors have too many characters but these two authors do it flawlessly every time.

The sexual tension between Isabelle and Zane was thick and intense. I was literally on edge just waiting - very eagerly - for the fireworks to explode.

Reid and Tegan - he’s a nerd and she’s a wild/free spirit but together they were on fire. Don’t be fooled by Reid’s geekiness because this guy’s dirty mouth got me hot and flustered.

Quentin/Hunter - I’ve been looking forward to reading their story but the glimpses we get were seriously not enough.

I really enjoyed this one and eagerly look forward to the next.

Aww!

Dante and Phoenix are still my favorite, but Zane and Isabelle were so sweet together! I'm hoping for Hunter and Quentin to get over themselves next. :-)

This was my first book by R.L. Kenderson, I love a good PNR read and even though I haven't read any of the previous books in this series I didn't have any trouble keeping up with who's who and what was going on, but it certainly whetted my appetite to read the previous ones in this series - I really enjoyed this, it was a good read with a good storyline, lots of interesting characters and some very hot steamy scenes - you're actually getting 3 for the price of 1 with this book as there are 3 featured romances going on in here, each very different from each other but just as equally hot and sexy!!

Isabelle is a wolf shifter that's gotten herself in a bad relationship that she needs to get out of. She turns to her friend and pack alpha Damien for help. Zane is a cat shifter, having had a previous relationship with Isabelle 2 yrs ago, he has done nothing but think about her, and has even gone to help out at Damiens in the hope of seeing her again, never really believing she would turn up and need his help. Her news make him take a stand to help her out, offering to be her mate, but with plans on getting to her heart and keeping her with him.

I love Isabelle's and Zane's relationship, its sweet and fun, and very steamy!! Zane will do anything for Isabelle, he is just what she needs, but she doesn't yet know it!!

Bram, the one Isabelle is running from, turns out to be quite a nasty piece of work, and keeps the storyline exciting with his nastiness!

Tegan and Reid are another couple who's romance features in this book - they have been friends forever, but its only now that Tegan has started to notice Reid in a different way, how mature he has got and how attracted she is to him. Reid has been waiting forever for Tegan to notice him, and is determined to get what he wants.

Quentin is a wolf shifter and Hunter is a vampire, and their M/M relationship certainly adds some heat to this story. This seems to be a continuation of a relationship mentioned in previous books, I can't wait to read more about these two!!

I really enjoyed this book, a great cast of characters, very different with a good storyline, I will definitely go back and read the others. Highly recommended reading.

I love this series. I been wanting to ready about Isabelle and Zane every since Forbidden Heat and that seems forever ago! Warning some spoilers are head in my review.

It been 2 years since Isabelle (a wolf shifter) walked away from Zane (a cat shifter) and he has been miserable ever since. Isabelle has gotten herself into an abusive relationship with Bram, also a wolf shifter. With the help of her coworkers, Isabelle makes a getaway back to her pack and Alpha, Damien. Since Bram publicly declared Isabelle is going to be his mate, Isabelle has to become someone's mate right away. Zane, of course, volunteers. To make it real and complete, they get married...in Vegas! And since her mating heat is soon, they agree that Zane taking her then would help complete his claim on Isabelle and possibly get her pregnant.

I love the whole idea of taking the story to Vegas. It worked out great and surprise, another couple gets married too-Tegan and Reid. Isabelle's mating heat triggers Tegan's to start too and so both of these females have their new mates 'busy' for a while! Wolf shifters Chase and Ranulf (extra security) have to deal with the extra potent mating heat pheromones by hiring some professional help. It was a funny element to the situation. I kinda wonder if that is going to lead to another story?

This story was fun with heat and tension due to Bram on the hunt for Isabelle but I love how it all got resolved. Plus, we got some more time going into Hunter and Quenton's relationship. All in all, I will keep on reading this series till the end. And I don't think it is going to stop soon! Thank goodness. Because each book keeps getting better and better.

Forbidden Claim is the fifth book in the Fobidden series. The main story is about Zane and Isabella, whom we meet in book two when Payton was captured and Damien had saved her. It’s safe to say I feel in love with the attraction between Zane and Isabella then. Although having read there full story I feel even harder. Isabella ran from Zane and there connection and ended up in a relationship with Bram a fellow wolf but Bram had a darker side she was about to see. Bram had decided he was going to mate Isabella with or without her consent, so his father would think he had changed his ways and became a family man. Bram was outcasted by his own father because of his reckless and evil ways and for killing. Isabella realizes her mistake and runs to Damien for help even though she’s not apart of the pack they still wish to help her. Due to the new arrangement with the vampires, and different shifters working together, Zane had been sent to stay with Damien’s pack along with Hunter the vampire and several others. Damien’s only solution to try and avoid bloodshed and a war with Brams pack is for Isabella to secretly mate with another. Zane jumps in and Isabella agrees feeling guilty that he’s giving up his chance to mate with someone else for her. They have to race against time to get this done and proved by all packs and the vampires Incase it goes south and a war breaks out. Tegan ends up trying to find some sort of release and ends up finding more which was unexpected but delightful! Also we get to see a little more into the Hunter and Quentin’s relationship or lack ther of. I would highly recommend this book there’s not only one couples story but also other favorites from the series that are trying to find there way.

Book 5 in the Forbidden series features Isabell and Zane. Isabelle is running from her abusive wolf shifter who is completely bad news and will stop at nothing to claim her. So Isabelle runs to the only place she feels she can be safe and wright back into the arms of Zane. Zane has never forgotten there time together 2 yrs ago and jumps at the chance to claim her as his mate. With a quickie wedding there trying to stay one step ahead of her abusive ex. Two more couples also get together in this book with one romance up in the air the heat is on I mean litterly the heat is on. I liked the romance and suspense of this book and how each character relationship develops even the third couple who's relationship is still up in the air. Can't wait till the next one comes out. I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review and would definitely recommend this series and this book to anyone a fan of paranormal romance.

I think this may be my favorite of the series! Can I give it a 10??? R.L. Kenderson brings you a word you want to escape to! The shifters work together and "play" together. I love the mixing of the breeds and LOVE everything about this paranormal world. Zane makes me laugh out loud and love that they add so many little stories into the main story. Quentin and Hunter still make me melt and I hope they get their own book. Isabelle is escaping an abusive boyfriend and goes to Minnesota for protection from her friend Damien (the alpha of the pack) and from the pack and Sentinals. Zane has missed her since she left him 2 years ago. He offers to mate with her so that her abusive boyfriend won't try to claim her. What happens next is hot, steamy and yummy! R.L. really makes you escape and want to meet these characters. I loved Teagan and Reid too. GIVE ME MORE

Isabella is a wolf shifter who has escaped her controlling boyfriend and approaches the wolf pack alpha in Philadelphia Damien for help. Damien suggests the best way to protect her without a war is for her to mate with one of the pack. It’s been two years since Zane has seen Isabella and his feelings for her are stronger than ever and he is determined to show her that they should have been mates all along.

Tegan and Reid are friends but he wants more. Although it seems unlikely Reid is the perfect man to challenge the wild and wacky Tegan. The relationship between Quentin and Hunter continues to develop and I can’t get enough of these characters.

I really like how the stories and characters evolve throughout the series and the storylines always seem to have the perfect amount of suspense, romance, emotions and twists. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This series is addictive and I have read and reviewed each book in the series. I love them all and while each can be read individually; it's much more enjoyable to read as a set. My favorite couple is definitely Dante and Phoenix, but this story is about Zane and Isabelle. Isabelle is escaping from an abusive shifter-boyfriend named Bram. Bram happens to be the son of an alpha wolf pack and is very adamant about mating with Isabelle. Zane must claim Isabelle as his own to save Isabelle from Bram.
I am a huge fan of the authors' writing style. There's excellent development of the characters, plenty of drama and lots of heat. I received this book as an ARC and voluntarily give my honest review.

I love this series for so many reasons. Once again there are so many plots going on in one book that you never get bored. This is a great book and the characters are amazing. You get to know some new ones and characters you have met start and some finish their story. Great set up for another in the series. Only problem is there are so many characters you forget the names in the beginning but are brought up to speed fast. Highly recommend this book and this series.

Forbidden Claim by RL Kenderson is the 5th book in the series and one of my favourites so far, I give this book 5 stars though I would give it more if I could.

Isabelle Rand is running from her abusive boyfriend who wants to take her as his mate, Isabelle runs to her friend who suggests she mate with someone else to get her ex off her back.
Zane is a cat shifter who is sticking close to the wolves hoping to see Isabelle again so when she come back and is in trouble Zane jumps in to help hoping that he can keep Isabelle close again.
This story has so much going on but it keeps you interested and eager to find out what’s happening.

Intense hotness!

Multiple POVs and 3 storylines interwoven together makes this like a paranormal soap opera. It is so awesome! It's like 3 for 1 in a sizzling package! Every character is a good person - uh, I mean shifter or vampire - that you'll love and root for.

The main story revolves around Zane & Isabelle who are thrown back together in another unusual situation. The supporting characters are wolf & cat sentinels.

You'll be into this story from the first page and not want to put it down until the very last page! Adjust your sleep schedule accordingly...

*My personal review of a prerelease ARC* I freaking love it! Isabelle and Zane make such a good couple. They share a similar banter my husband and I share and it made me smile to read. I was also surprised by the other couples that were introduced and the ones that came back from previous installments of the series. I'm looking forward to the next book!

In this book, Isabelle and Zane meet again. They decide to mate and get married in Vegas to protect Isabelle. Little did they know how they would begin to feel about each other. Also, Reagan finally finds her mate and marries him in Vegas.

OMG I loved this book!!! Wow!!! Storyline was fantastic. This is book 5. Must read first 4 to know who the characters are. I waited a long time for this story and it did not disappoint. Loved it and I hope the series continues. I want more Tegan and Reid.

Isabelle and Zane's story holds up to the rest of the series. While time has passed since the last book, it seamlessly flows never missing a beat.

While Isa and Zane were the main focus, two other couples were included in the story. The additional couples made the story more dynamic, like there is more in their world than just Isa and Zane.

This story is beautifully written and articulated. The emotions evoked from the abuse and the love were powerful.

I absolutely LOVED this book. Zane and Isa are great together and oh my word the other couples are amazing too. There's depth to all characters and the pairings are messy and complicated but real (not the insta love that is typically used). The overall plot is great in this series as well. I could go on and on but instead I'll just leave it as read these books! Now excuse me while I wait patiently for the next one to come out... 😉

Holy Crap, I loved this book. It continues the storyline (and sub-storylines) from the previous books perfectly. These characters intertwine so amazingly well that it’s easy to get sucked in and want to scream for more when you’re done.

Well they did it again - a book that made me laugh and cry and want to reach in and shake some of the characters and b*tch slap some others! R & L are amazing world builders and storytellers - the love story of Zane and Isa is so engrossing I read through the night to finish this book! The return of favourite characters from previous books was lovely and well done and the "secondary" romances were intriguing and I am so hoping they get their own stories as well! Loved the book - love the series impatiently waiting for more!

This is the story of Zane and Isabella. They have been apart and miserable for a long time. When circumstances threaten Isa's life Zane steps up and they are back together. You also see a little bit more of Hunter and Quentin's relationship. I cant wait for more. This series is addicting!!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and have to say it did not dissapoint. I have been waiting for Zane and Isabelle's story since they were first introduced and it has been one of my favourites in the series so far. Once I started to read I could not put the book down. I love the authors style of writing, especially the way they focus in the main characters story while still keeping other character plotlines evolving. Without giving too much away a new couple is introduced in this book as well as the progression of Quentin and Hunter's story. SPOILER AHEAD - I loved both Zane and Isabelle's personalities and even though Zane saves Isabelle by volunteering to be her mate, she saves herself too, and you get to see a glimpse of their HEA. There are also a lot of characters developing their own stories which just makes me more excited for the next one in the series. 5 stars for the authors would not only recommend the book but the entire series!!

What's not to love about this series.. You have Wolf Shifters, Cat Shifters and Vampires who are truly good people. They take care of each other and help each other in times of need. When Zane saw Isabelle last, it was 2 years ago but she is back and in trouble. There is so much within this book I can't just pick one thing I liked more than the other. It's packed full with action, drama, suspense, loyalty and love. It's well written and very enjoyable.

Time changes everything but the heart. I was startled to read how different Isabelle was from the first time we encountered her with Zane. I always wondered how long it would’ve be before these two were reunited. I also always enjoy the multiplayer storyline with another couple’s relationships being highlighted as well.
